Absolute little gem of a café on the first floor of a building so tucked away and a lot quieter than the other busy cafés. Cakes were exceptionally good - light, flavoursome and freshly baked. The tea selection was also very wide.

Great selection of vegetarian food and lovely lovely cakes! Love the environment as well. The dining area smells like our own kitchen⋯would love to come back
K. M.
Absolute gem of a find, we only had coffee/hot choc/milkshake and cakes which were all amazing!! We will be back to try some other food next time whxih I'm sure will be incredible if the cakes are anything to go by!

Delicious healthy food, served with a smile. The falafel and hummus would be my personal recommendation 👌 great cakes too! We spent 25 quid for a cappuccino, falafel, quesadilla and a lovely piece of cake. Lovely painting when you enter and the café just oozes a wholesome vibe 🌱😊
J. M.
Very tasty, balanced and homemade lunch. Coffee not watery and service good. The Ruben sandwich and Quesadillas were great. Around £20 for two people but quality worth it.
C. H.
Delicious veggie food! Friendly and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back! ❤️
J. W.
A lovely cafe, with really impressive tasty homemade meals. The Quesadilla was delicious!

Not the fastest cafe in Ironbridge but worth the wait. Food ,cake and coffee were wonderful. Food and cakes are a little bit different from the usual cafe fayre. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Will certainly visit again 😊

Visited with my daughter who introduced me to this fabulous eatery, they welcomed us from the window above (eat outside / takeaway covid restrictions in place). Great choice of menu on the wall outside, catered for my special dietary needs, great value and wonderfully friendly. Fabulous display of blooms outside and in the doorway of the delivery, and the good was fantastic x

Excellent little find. Cosy coffee shop that does a wide range of food. We had the frangipani and cinnamon bun with a latte. Homemade and absolutely delicious. Great service, reasonable prices and accommodating to a large group. Will be back

Lovely little place. Food is well thought out and well above average cafe fare. Can take a little while to bring out but only due to the quality of product. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

This is one of my very favourite places to eat... food is homely, of impecable craftsmanship, hearty and beautifully presented. The team is all lovely and they always make us feel welcomed. Coffee, cakes or their fabulous lunches make me happy... mostly vegetarian and lovely because of that. My falafel salad on Saturday was so good that gave me goosebumps... thank you guys 😊

What a find! My son and I visited on a Friday lunchtime. Beautiful fresh food and coffee and a delicious homemade lemonade. Will definitely be back

I researched this place on TripAdvisor after booking my raft tour as I knew we would want a relax and snack afterwards. The reviews on here are extremely positive and as soon as we saw the outside of the cafe we could see why. We walked up the short flight of stairs and found a sweet little seating area. All the tables were full but a lovely gentleman called us over to join him and his wife because he didn't want us missing out on this lovely place. We ordered the chocolate brownies and hot chocolates and they arrived promptly. The waitress was polite and courteous. The brownie was the best I've had and the hot chocolate was delicious. I loved the artwork hung around the place. It is a very sweet cafe and definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food and service. Home made cakes. Plentiful supply of tea

A little gem. Good quality coffee and a surprising choice of freshly cooked bistro type food. Excellent choice of cake and pastries. Service is faultless and the art on display keeps one occupied whilst waiting for food to be prepared. We had a very tasty mixed bean soup with a cheese toasty. Prices are reasonable and there is the obligatory complimentary wi-fi. The view from the oriel window seat is to be recommended. All in all, it is well worth the walk to the top of the town.
M. B.
Awesome food. Bit slow to serve, and obvious inefficiencies walking backwards and forwards with individual items ( a tray would be a great idea!!)Have to wait for freshly made food as you would expect, but worth the wait.
B. C.
Excellent food. Home made tasty salads. Great quiche. Superb cake and frangipan to long for. Not to mention the extremely helpful, friendly waiter with the patience of a saint. Definitely would return if ever that way again

I spent 2 days in telford and found this place day one. Coffee was exception and my son had a hot chocolate which he thought was very tasty. We didn’t have food but usually when I find the coffee to be this good the food is usually of the same standard. Staff were also very inviting and friendly. Definitely recommend
J. P.
Great range of cakes and drinks, friendly staff and good service.
I.
Most enjoyable lunch and coffee today!
P. H.
Great friendly service. Lovely coffee and food.

Another fantastic lunch today. I ordered a cheese and pickle sandwich and my daughter had ham salad. Both came with salad, crisps and rice - the dressing was delicious! The staff are very welcoming and we left feeling very relaxed. I forgot to mention the elderflower lemonade which was very refreshing and full of flavour. Outstanding!
G. W.
Friendly but very slow service. Offered cream which didn't arrive and then when we asked for it they had run out! Coffee was luke-warm and the order arrived in dribs and drabs so I had finished my coffee by the time my husband's tea arrived ☹️
H. A.
Nice family run cafe with good a freshly prepared food & dishes for Breakfast and Lunch.
J. S.
Attention to detail! Asked about allergies; allowed substitutions; didn't quibble about splitting a bill - fab. And. . .. I don't recall the last time I had such a great sandwich.
K. B.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, The food is fantastic tasty, healthy and well presented. Great veggie selection. The home baked selection of cakes leave you feeling good about life and are a perfect a accompaniment to the great coffee. Go you won't be disappointed.
E. L.
I adore this place. It is quirky, warm and friendly. The food is excellent with layers of flavour and is freshly made. The cakes are also excellent - in fact, more than excellent! At busy times sometimes you need to wait for a table to come free but it is worth the wait

Great to be able to return and eat here. Great fresh food. Willing to cater if you have allergies or dislikes.

Lovely outlook into Ironbridge, well worth a small stroll just away from the main shops. The home made cakes and bakes are simply gorgeous and the coffee was lovely too! Definitely my new favourite cafe in Ironbridge, we will be back again for sure, and next time have some lunch. Absolutely top marks!
J. R.
Very welcoming staff. Great hot drinks and sandwiches in a nice cosy setting. Beetroot cake also went down a treat! A great place to stop at if you’re visiting Ironbridge.

I was recently in Ironbridge on a business shoot and once done I wanted somewhere to stick around and grab a bite to eat for a few hours before I had to head to Bridgnorth. This place was recommended by the business I was working with. Although only small I managed to grab a four seater table. I'm pretty tall so struggle on smaller tables.
I had the bean quesadilla, an organic cider, the apricot frangipane and a tea. All were super fresh and full of flavour. Served in enough time even when the place was jam packed and I offered to share my table. I felt awkward about using the place to work especially when it was busy. I was never asked to move on though which was great as I was all setup.
I think my food and drink plus two take home cakes, one brownie and one beetroot cake thing (which I ate both of and were gorgeous... no judgement please) came to like £24. A bargain for the quality and size of the portions I had.
A lovely lovely place and I almost forgot to mention the two people working on the day. Both also incredibly lovely people. If you have a bad experience here then I can promise you it's you and not them.
Ps. Please send more cake to ST4!

Worthy of a 60+ mile round-trip. Outstanding coffee and cake.
The coffee is supplied by Hasbean. It is high quality and freshly roasted. Everything is expertly prepared by wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff. They grind the coffee just before making it for the best possible taste, unlike soulless chains that grind a load way in advance of brewing. This makes for a much better drink. The milk is steamed perfectly.
The food and cakes are outstanding. Fresh and homemade. Best scones, brownies, victoria sponge, lemon cake I have ever tried. Everything I have tried has been excellent.
Eighty Six'd is in a lovely old building in the historic town of Ironbridge. This is a warm, cosy and friendly retreat. Alongside its namesake bridge, this coffee shop is the best thing about Ironbridge.

Very good coffee and food. Friendly staff and excellent service
Nice ambience. We visit Ironbridge most Sunday afternoons for a walk to Coalport, but always call in at 86d first, for a take out coffee, tea or on a hot day a freshly squeezed orange juice. 86'd never disappoints!
A. J.
Lovely spot, small but airy tea-room with a cool vintage vibe. Food was wonderful and coffee was delicious! Will definitely visit again.
M. G.
What an amazing smell when you go through the door. A beautiful home made quich was just being taken out of the oven. Shame we were only there for coffee, great cakes though. We'll be back for lunch, soon😀.
T. K.

Nice place for a meet with friends & good food. Would have been a 4 but it was very cold in there & no hot water in the toilet.

Cake heaven. My soup was great on a cold, damp winter day, but the chocolate brownie was fabulous, washed down with a damn fine brew.
