Amazing little cafe. Food was really delicious. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry bagel and I wanted to eat it all over again. My partner had a sausage sandwich and now we need to track down the local butcher to buy those sausages! Milkshakes were really yummy and vegan which worked out well for my lactose intolerant partner! They have live music here and offer alcoholic drinks for later in the day! Don't walk, run to this place!

2nd visit we had lunch this time. Mum had the ploughman's which was presented lovely with good variety. 3 cheeses, ham and pork pie. The pie was the only let down every thing else was delicious. I had pastrami and cream cheese bagel. Delicious, bagel wasn't hard and enough for lunch. Was busy for a Wednesday lunch time. Drinks are good the smoothies and shakes coming out looked yummy feel that I need to try. All reasonably priced. Good atmosphere.

Visited The Gratitude Cafe weekly for the past month with my son for an afternoon pot of tea and soft drink. The place is a calm comfortable place for a restful catch up on an afternoon. The Gratitude has a large space for customers to spread out in a variety of seating - some lower comfortable leather chairs and sofas on the right hand side of the room with more tradition chairs and tables on the left. The bar / serving area is on the rear left hand side with orders taken their and then delivered to your table. A stage is set up at the front of the space and music performances are offered during various times of the week .

Always a good coffee and cake to be had here. It's all homemade and reasonably priced. Their lunch menu has lots to offer but fairly standard. Beware the sticky table tops, not sure why as they are cleaned.

The food was brilliant here, the service really really needs some work though. When we arrived it wasn't busy inside yet almost every empty table, which made up most of the place was filled with dirty dishes and cups. We waited for someone to remove the dirties from any table and they didn't get taken away until our food was brought out. We received our food before our drinks on a not-busy morning, and we were asked quite a few times if we were sure some drinks that they kept bringing over weren't ours. The girl on the cash register was shouting at the other servers at one point! Food was lovely, service needs alot of work.

Really nice hot drinks. Do Chai Lattes and that's awesome when you can't drink coffees. Also had some of the carrot cake, and it was delicious. Really nice atmosphere and very well decorated.

Met a friend here for lunch. What a lovely cafe. Nice atmosphere and staff are lovely. We had a freshly made sandwich and a pot of tea. Delicious sandwich made with very tasty bread. Excellent value. Go and try it!

Had a lovely break from shopping here with my husband & daughter. They do plant based milks so we were able to have a cup of tea and even had some vegan snacks (we all 3 of us had a peanut butter crisp slice which was truly scrumptious!) the tea was lovely and served in gorgeous cups with cute milk jugs. I love the whole atmosphere in this place; gorgeous surroundings & decor with lots of quirky things to look at. Lovely laid back vibe with friendly helpful staff. It was good to see people taking time to eat somewhere local thats not a huge chain store. We will definitely be back soon.

I went today and had an excellent cappuccino. I had a vegetarian sausage and egg sandwich on granary bread. Service was excellent. They also do Gluten free food. My only criticism is the music is a bit loud. You can sit outside or in and you get table service. Menu has some good choices and the bread was fresh. I prefer it to most places in Wellington as it has a great look and great food

Visited for the first time today after hearing wonderful things. Absolutely spot on All Day Breakfast in a very nice cafe aesthetically to sit inside. 100% will be returning.

Good to average food, terrible service, which is is why it looses points. I can't fault the friendliness of staff or menu but in terms of catering the cafe really needs an injection of training on how to get food out to customers quickly. Food is often slow to turn up after ordering, so quite often you'll have long finished your hot drink by the time food turns up. For the price a ham & cheese toasted sandwich shouldn't look like its been made from wonderloaf, when Wellington prides itself on several fresh food & bread establishments. You can't run a cafe like that. Menu is cafe/gastropubish. Has the benefit of being wheelchair accessible, including the toilets. Popular with locals and visitors and runs live music/other events in evening (or did before Covid)

The food in this cafe is awesome, especially if you have dietary requirements as they cater for a wide range without the ripoff price tags you get elsewhere. The coffee's are also great. This is my go to cafe in Wellington, if there isn't a table there is a very good reason why they are busy

Great little gem in the cente of Wellington. Christian themed with very nice, contemporary decor, comfy individual seating and a decent range of food. Especially pleased by the good choice of vegan food on offer. Children are catered for with toys and games to play, dogs are welcome and there were books for those wanting to spend an hour or so reading. Overall, a great experience and we were not made to feel rushed. Highly recommended by me.

The Gratitude Cafe is the perfect place to eat & relax. Excellent food & service. I had the Tuna, Red Onion and Cheddar melt toastie, while my wife had the Bacon and Brie toasted Bagel both were delicious. Recommend this place all day long, let's support local independents like this to keep our local towns going
