This off the main road business, is a real gem. Came here for a Cream tea, found it via Google.
Service friendly, place is clean, tidy and well kept. Food and drink was great, garden really peaceful. If you are passing by, call in for a refreshment. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem! Lovely lunches and cakes in a pretty cafe with the bonus of a pretty garden area. Lunches from 11.30 include salads with gluten free and dairy free options. Staff were really helpful accommodating the baby too! Dogs can go into the garden area and there is parking off the road too.

We found this place online. It's tucked away and it was such a find!
We both had the cream tea. I had the gluten free scones, he had the regular ones. They all came still warm and were lovely. Even the gluten free ones were lush! If you are gluten free, you'll know that bread products are not the best but these ones were soft and light and fluffy. Not made on site but still lovely. The regular ones are made on site and were also soft and light and fluffy. A fruit scone option would have been his choice, though.
Plenty jam and cream for the portion of scone. Jam was very fruity, full of flavour.
Lovely place, friendly staff. Sandwiches coming out the kitchen looked lovely too!

Very good place to chill either inside or outside with a coffee and cake or tea and homemade scones. Lovely garden. Attentive staff. Will visit again. Great find when you want to beat the crowds on a weekend and spend time with family and relax

My husband and I absolutely love this place. They are wonderful people and every year accommodate our large party for cream teas. Such a wonderful tranquil place with amazing service. Thank you 😊

Great venue for coffee and cake, but they could do with some acoustic tiles to deaden the sound. When it was full, the noise level made it hard to hear each other.

Wanted to sample a traditional ‘Cornish Tea’ while visiting Cornwall, and we are very glad we selected this cosy little place for our first one of the holidays.
The cream tea was outstanding. The scones were delicious, and the jam and cream (in that order obviously) topped it off! The tea pot was huge, as was the kid sized hot chocolate!
Service was friendly and welcoming, even when busy with the steady stream of customers.
On a wet weekday, outside of the peak holiday season, the restaurant was busy over the lunch period, so I’d suggest making a booking if possible.
Hopefully we can squeeze in another visit before we head home!

It was amazing! From the homemade scones to the clotted cream. Definitely a real countryside feel to it, and allowed you to embrace the natural beauty Cornwall has to offer!
