Having driven past this place for years, I finally decided to wander in during the summer. Not only are the coffees & cakes delicious, they also have the cutest little courtyard which makes for the most perfect little reading spot. I love this place so much that it’s now become a weekly ritual. The ladies who work there are also lovely. A true hidden gem! ✨ ☕️ 🌸 🐮

Most amazing and cute coffee shop! Tucked just off the main road part of a courtyard shared with a little antiques store. Plenty of space to sit outside sheltered or not. Parking is free for two hours! Great selection of cakes, hot drinks and sandwiches. Dog friendly! Added bonus of chatty and happy staff! I could spend the whole day here chilling! xx

Lovely coffee, randomly passing by Chobham and came across this cute little place and didn’t disappoint. They had couple of tables outside too. We had the orange and almond cake and it was delish.

This is local to where I work and although I have to get in the car for 5 mins it is absolutely worth the trip. The girls who run it are lovely. The coffee is delicious and you can't go without treating yourself to a sandwich. They are freshly made, bursting with ingredients and blooming lovely! On a nice day you can grab a table outside in the sun and it's local at its best.

Good things come in small packages! A lovely, quaint little coffee shop with extensive outdoor seating. Vonnie and the team and so welcoming to everyone. Basil and Blue has such a great sense of community, and the small added touches such as the blankets and hot water bottles for those sitting outside, to the pay it forward in the community wall is just so adorable. An absolute hidden gem of a place.

It’s great to have this little cafe up the road. Really love the coffee and the girls are always so welcoming and friendly. It’s got a fab view of the cannon and green and they have done a brilliant job of using the outside covered space with tables, heaters and blankets. Dog and 🚲 friendly. Well worth a visit.

What a great little coffee shop this is! The coffee is that good that I couldn't leave without having a second cup and they also have a selection of really excellent teas from local company Cupsmith. Basil and Blue may only be small inside but the warm and friendly welcome couldn't have been greater. There is covered seating available outside and dog walkers are well catered for with bowls of water and blankets available for their dogs. A visit to this place is now obligatory for us whenever we're in Chobham and I can't see it taking long to fill the first of our loyalty cards!

We come to Basil and Blue regularly because the coffee is great, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and the café has a lovely atmosphere. Whilst there's not much room inside, the outside seating is under cover with heaters available when it's cold

Friendly welcome from this new enterprise. Selection of teas. Proper coffee. Light snacks and cake. Tiny inside with just 5 stools but more seating outside. Walk your dog in the water meadows behind the car park and then call in for treat!

Lovely setting for a cafe, with a charming, sunny courtyard. It is a shame that they do not offer any dairy free cakes or sandwiches, not even toast or teacakes, so I could only have a cup of tea, which was rather disappointing.
