I always visit Coffee #1 when on holiday as their coffee is consistent in quality and I love how they try to pay homage to the local area with little bits of information about the history of the town or city. Recently, when I visited Worcester (just before Halloween), I stopped for a coffee and enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere of the cafe with relaxing music playing in the background. However, the mood was somewhat affected by the presence of a body wrapped in black bin liners on the top of the stairs! :( A Halloween decoration, of course, but a bit grim to have in the background.

We came across this coffee shop while exploring Worcester. The nicest coffee stop we have had. The staff were very efficient, in particular the young guy who served us was delightful! The service was very quick. The coffee was piping hot & not at all bitter, the sandwiches were lovely & fresh & the cakes delicious! Well done Coffee#1 We shall definitely be back!

Needed a coffee and cake 🎂 after lunch so popped in here. The lemon meringue cheesecake slice was divine! We also tried the biscoff cheesecake and a summer fruits slice. All went down wonderfully with cappuccino, americano, flat white and a tea! Will definitely be returning.....

A little hidden away when compared with Worcester's other (dozen) coffee chains - it's worth a visit though, if I'm kicking about in town doing some shopping, or wanting to get out of the wonderful British weather, then this is my ideal spot. Staff are friendly and take pride in what they do, and there is a cosy, yet quirky vibe you won't find at Costa or Starbucks.

Excellent. I am not a coffee drinker but the hot chocolate is delicious without it being too sweet. The cakes are nice quality, particularly the super dark chocolate slice. Love that, it is unique to Coffee 1, nobody else offers a dark chocolate cake on their menu.

We enjoy coming in for a cuppa , but haven't been in for a while due to the fact we don't like sitting next to dogs , we are not dog haters but the last time we came in there was a restless dog , the owner was oblivious to the fact it kept coming to us begging for what we were eating. We have noticed , & it happened today, you do not encourage your doggy customers to stay in the designated area , which I might add we never sit in , & yes a lady sat right next to us with a dog pulling on its lead because his owner was at the til & jumping up onto the chair. Great cafe friendly staff , but if you could keep to your policy for doggy visitors it would be perfect.😊

Sell filter as well as espresso-based coffee. Prices are quite high (where are they not) but a reasonably good range for all budgets. Excellent collection of mostly antiquarian books. Staff reasonably polite though service can be slow, as in all coffee shops. No hook on the door of the one toilet, which means one must sit down in his coat - or leave it upstairs unattended. There is a decent range of music to suit all tastes and the management often leaves it off altogether on less busy days for much of the morning, which is refreshing. Dogs are permitted. There was no official smoking space when I first started coming here about six months ago, although this appears to have changed recently. One of the better coffee shops in Worcester.

Great coffee and nice sweet café. Little range of cakes and food but was of a high quality. Staff were more happy to talk amongst themselves rather than the customer, I was standing for 20 mins. Very cleverly put together café creating atmosphere. When asked for extra needs to coffee they very happily obliged. Small tables not enough for a family bigger than 5. Children seats available. Lovely place to go for a chat. Not quiet enough for business. Normally fast service but kept waiting whilst they talked rather than taking my order. Not outrageous prices for drinks but food more expensive. Much more of a family friendly café than the likes of Starbucks or Costa.

Once again when I get there at 3.15 pm on a Friday they have already shut off upper level of coffee shop. Hence nowhere to sit. I ignore strategically placed chair blocking way and sit in upper level. Member of staff tells me this area is shut. I explain there's nowhere to sit. She says "ok then". When I leave 30 mins later approx 5 tables are taken on the upper level, proving this area is needed on a Friday afternoon. I visit many coffee #1 shops, but this is the only one I have been to that doesn't seem to want as many customers as they can get. Strange!

Noisiest coffee shop I've ever been in, do they really have to throw stuff into the dishwasher quite so hard, while shouting and telling each other what they "were like" from one end of the counter to the other. In the Droitwich branch by contrast they seem half asleep and hardly speak at all, and manager has never smiled or said hello in two years, but at least it's quiet.
