The outside is lovely, very Tudor style. I loooove the greenery seen from outside. You go in and they have a small counter where you order after you’ve sat down. I ordered the bubble and squeak and my partner ordered smoked salmon and scramble eggs with toast and a large latte. The service was quick, within minute we received our drinks and 5 minutes later we had our breakfast. The bubble and squeak was alright. I was somewhat disappointed by the potatoes, they were borderline room temperature (mind you this was in the morning during October) it was also a bit too mushy, the poached eggs were prepared very well, nice and runny, but it lost some points because water was still running down the side, which lets me think they were not properly drained after being poached. The chorizo was fabulous, it was my FAVOURITE part of the meal, I would order a plate of just chorizo. My partner’s plate looked a bit small, the egg portion was tiny. I tried the toast and it was somewhat cold… I have no idea how this was possible since we literally got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Food aside, lovely interior and I quite like the courtyard in the back. To be fair, I probably should return and try their lunch menu and will revise my review.

On a cold February day we visited Worcester, tried three cafe's , each were not very warm and poor choice of things to eat, then we were recommended "Papa's Café" Brilliant place, wide choice of tasty things to eat, lovely and warm, friendly staff ! Love this place, especially warm summer mornings when the outside patio area is warm and sheltered. Winter brings the inside cosy seating into play but is sometimes busy so be prepared to sit and share! The coffee and Mochas are worth it though.

Tasty and excellent value for money is this Mediterranean platter with a selection of bites including warm pitta bread, grilled Halloumi cheese, chicken, lamb or other grilled meat, salad and a cooling dip such as Tzadziki. They do some gorgeous summer drinks like refreshing milkshakes and flavoured cold coffee frappes. Its an ever changing often bustling atmosphere with customers coming and going. A stunning old historical building too!

Had the eggs benedict. Muffins were nice and soft. The spinach not over cooked and the eggs perfectly solid white with a lovely runny yolk and as always was lovely. Tried the new strawberry white hot chocolate which was lovely. Had whipped cream chocolate sprinkles and strawberry syrup on top. The staff are always friendly and at tentative. You couldn't ask too much or any more from them. Very nice ambience and social distancing is very well set out with hand sanitisers available where needed.

Had some time to kill so pop into Papa’s Cafe for breakfast. Ordered there main breakfast and a smoothie and to be honest the price was good and the food was tasty. The one problem I did have was if you sit at the back of the cafe there’s a door to a garden area. The door was open and people were smoking out side. So whilst having your food you can smell people smoking NOT GOOD

First time in Worcester, was walking around looking for a place to have some lunch. Saw how many people were sat outside eating and thought why not. Service was good and very friendly, had the Chicken Souvlaki which was heavenly. The wife had a cheese and ham seeded panini which hit the spot. Relaxed with a bottle of Peroni followed by a pot of tea. Never felt in any rush. Highly recommend, loved it.

Great place to relax during your sightseeing, which is located in a very cozy historic buidling with quite a large terrace outside. I had a Panini and a cup of tea there. Everything was great, the only thing was that I held the teabag for a very long time in the kettle and tea's flavour was still very weak.

Very good coffee served here, puts Costa Coffee to shame, being sufficiently strong! The food I have had there is excellent, their Brie and Cranberry Panini is superb being packed full of cheese. They also have a small courtyard out the back, I cannot think of a better cafe outside sitting space in Worcester than Papas!

We found this cafe on a visit to Worcester. The cafe is off the main thoroughfare down a street that runs parallel to it. What a delight. The sandwiches that we ordered we plentiful and filling. We received a warm and friendly welcome too. Worth taking a look if in the area.

Very good coffee in a good old historic Worcester building Recently refurbished, with increased seating, but often okish food is a bit hit and miss. Good for basic breakfast stuff though and great service. Smoke from the internal smoking area often wafts in, but otherwise a good option and destroys Costa etc.

Lovely place. Had 2 paninis, 2 slices of cake, a coffee and a smoothie: £23.50, reasonable. The goats cheese panini was excellent, good strong goats cheese and well prepared veg, tasty peppers. Salad was a little plain (some cucumber would be good imo) but dressed well. The layered caramel & latte cake I had was really excellent. It was the last slice, so slightly more dry than it would be at the start of the day I'd imagine, but still good, and very tasty. Strong coffee flavor, and the caramel part want too sweet. Finished off my partner's blueberry cake, too; really moist, light and delicious. Good coffee - a very flavorful flat white. Ordered a regular, was made a large by mistake - they let me keep it, no bother. Friendly staff. Strongly recommended!

Very nice little cafe, offering good breakfast options. However, was annoying when we found that they allow smoking in the courtyard seating area (which didn't seem to be signposted: if it had been, we'd have probably sat indoors instead). On what was one of the hottest days of the year, it spoiled our experience as non-smokers.
