Great atmosphere, service and coffee. Thoroughly clean with soft music playing provides a great atmosphere. There was a trainee who served us who was the friendliest person who has ever made me coffee. Nice and quiet early mornings too.

Lots of space! There's an outdoor area that is partially covered so still can be used in the rain. Some space on the ground floor and much more on the first floor (that is where the picture is from). There are quite a few sofas which is an added bonus. Coffee was lush! Cons: there is only 1 toilet men and one for woman and they are VERY small! I couldn't see a disabled toilet either. COVID: lots of hand sanitizer available and the place looked very clean.

One of the better Nero's I have visited nationally. Staff were rapid and drinks were great but still took the time to have a friendly, engaging conversation. Would visit again.

I've always liked their coffee and staffs are friendly, but the last few years seems like the quality of how its drinks are made has gone down. The hot chocolate used to be really nice but now, it taste like ready made chocolate. Coffee wise it almost still the same. Service is a little slow. **I used to work for the company years ago, the way I was trained compared to now is a lot different. (I was a maestro as well).

I like the retro charm of this place. Doesn't seem to attract youngsters at all. My macchiato was good, but the wife's mocha was unbearably sweet, and had to be replaced. Went again recently - they are handling the pandemic restrictions efficiently. I chose to eat and drink at their external seating. Still lovely potent macchiato and wonderful cake! Recommended. Went again recently. Not such a good experience. The wife's double-shot cappuccino didn't even taste like coffee! Plus the place does now seem to be attracting a less-savoury class of clientele 🙁 However, my macchiato (made with Guatemalan beans) was perfection! Update 17th June 2022 Actually we're lucky in Worthing to have a place where you can be certain of getting a high-quality coffee, each visit. (In most coffee outlets there is no such certainty!) Today I had macchiato (made with Peruvian beans) and a slice of cake. All truly delicious, and the service was friendly!

Excellent customer service! Very friendly, helpful and clean, pleasant place to rest, drink and eat. If you like to watch the world go by as you sit then this is perfect with huge windows all round. Located in a shady spot at the beginning of the arcade so too much sun should not be an issue. A nice selection of seating, drinks, warm food and cakes. Pricing as you would expect from this type of coffee shop. Only lost a star because the shared loo was a little wiffy but clean and no reason to avoid. Also should cater for wheelchairs as large. Will visit again. I want to try the chicken lattice with homemade coleslaw this time!

What fabulous customer service and of course coffee. My husband I came for a day visit and I cut my finger on the latch of the public loo on the beach trying to get the door open, we tied it up with a tissue to stop the bleeding and went in search of a coffee and sandwich . Lucy the lady serving immediately noticed my finger and asked if I was okay, she went off in search of the first aid box and let me take a plaster to replace my tissue. Totally unexpected but so welcome as I feel so much more comfortable now. Thank you Lucy and cafe Nero excellent customer service and the coffee and sandwich were excellent too.

Staff are superb and very friendly. But there are simply not enough tables to accommodate a town centre café. The tables which are available are all wobbly .

Nice coffee and friendly staff. Cheaper than Starbucks but the whipped cream isn't as nice and there aren't as many flavour options. However the food bits aren't too bad, they do have nice pastries and a few hot and cold items. The fresh smoothies are good.

Little bit classier than costa!!! the guy on a Sunday morning is a bit of a Grumps On the whole staff are ok though and coffee is better than costa though I do wish the large coffees were costa size but that's not a deal breaker

Oh my gosh I love it at Worthing cafe Nero, the coffee is great and the staff are really polite and they mostly try to remember your order so when you next go in they automatically request it without asking. I love cafe Nero it's warm environment and lots of nice people to chat to. It's also a dog friendly cafe so all dogs welcome.

Great coffee and atmosphere, however the staff could do with more training on how to make each drink. Recently asked for an item on the menu and the barista turned to her colleague to ask how to make it (who didn't know either, and didn't realise their conversation could be heard from the other side of the counter) and then turned back saying that they had 'only just run out'.

Ordered from Uber eats. We received our order quickly but the hot chocolate was half empty, with about 4/5 mouthfuls left - there was no sign of spillage in the bag or any sign of tampering and we were in disbelief. For almost £4 you'd expect to at least have your cup full?

I noticed when ordering, there was food flies around on the food and around the milk they were using for the hot drinks and no lid was on the milk. I just hope that the food that wasn't used wouldn't have been used the following day as 'fresh' Although the croissants did have some sort of covering on them it looked too late as you could see the flies on them!

I love working upstairs and the view from the windows. It's a shame there are so few power outlets for laptops and phones but it's not too busy usually. The hot chocolate is great and the staff are quick and professional. :)

The staff at this Caffè Nero really make it a nice place to come. I would give it a 5 star but there is no wheelchair door open button, and it can be very difficult to struggle inside trying to hold the (opening in) door open when pushing in a wheelchair or buggy. Nero could make this a lot more accessible by having a button press mechanism to open the door for people on wheelchairs.

Friendly chilled out coffee shop with plenty of seating over two floors. They are dog friendly and let well behaved dogs in which is very helpful in the winter months or when the weather is less than favourable. Also Nero is one of the few places that understands how to make a float white or Cortado correctly.

Lovely upstarts seating area. Good for catching up on your novel writing, with a chai latte. I've enjoyed watching the photo of the Man staring into his coffee mover around the room, over the years.

Comfy and great drinks, plus free WiFi. Handy having toilets downstairs as well as upstairs, though could do with a refit. Staff are very friendly. They offer cakes and sandwiches, a few gluten free pre-packed sweet items. They also offer soya, coconut and oat milk. Lovely atmosphere to sit and relax.

Not bad, average. Friendly staff. Only gripe was that someone was smoking in the no smoking area. All the tables had no smoking signs, except one where the sign had been removed, or damaged. The staff couldn't care less.

Slow service and I went before 12 so not too busy. They accept own reusable mugs, which is always a plus for me. Food is typical for this kind of outlet, pannini, rolls etc, but they can be toasted.

This was a lovely place to visit. If you are vegan or have allergies/intolerances it's a fantastic place to eat. I had the vegan cheesecake and it was delicious. Would recommend going here.

Love this particular branch, staff helpful and knowledgeable. It’s one of the only branches I’ve visited where the staff are actually fully trained and aware of all the deals, promotions and the products they are selling. The seating is great and it’s in a good location.
