A very nice lady (who knew her local cafes) sent us here saying the cakes are nice. They are, but forget the cakes. They sell a sausage roll as large as a baby’s arm and chips with cheese and gravy!!! Ooo heaven is in Wales; who knew. It was busy and the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Lovely little business. Totally worth a stop for lunch.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch, 3 courses for only £18p/h. I'm quite a picky person and can usually find fault somewhere - not here though! Not only good value but plenty of it. I obviously had room for dessert - himself had his to go! Highly recommend paying a visit if you are in the area!

Just finished the gorgeous mid-week roast it was beautiful! Couldn't fault it and the value of money was brilliant £15 and it filled 4 of us. Gorgeous and will defiantly be ordering more.

This community cafe is popular and it is easy to see why. Pleasant hard working staff serving up lovely food from scones and tray bakes to Sunday lunches. I had a roast beef Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Absolutely superb. I decided to ring and book in advance. Cost is £5 deducted from your bill even you arrive and order. Lots of care taken over Covid-19 measures in late June 2021. Lots of parking space and outdoor seating. Just a short stroll from the aqueduct and viaduct.

Having just read someones idiotic opinion saying that cafe wylfa was expensive i can only assume this person needs to get a life. My wife anfd i use this place fairly regularly and we honestly think it neither overpriced or particularly slow service wise! So for goodness sake stop your moaning and enjoy the experience! Cracking Sunday lunch. Had to sit outside because we had our dog with us and it was a bit fresh being the end of October, but overall I was very impressed.

Lovely little cafe, very friendly staff. The food is very good wether you want a sandwich, light lunch or an excellent scone. Plenty of seating and some comfy sofas too. Just a 2 minute walk down the road is the chirk aqueduct which is very impressive.

Service very good, prices reasonable. 2022- There are now more picnic benches outside. There is a covered area which is great if you have a dog. You can now order and pay from your table.

Horrendously expensive for basic items. £6+ for a cheese toastie, £6+ for a tuna panini. That is 4* hotel prices. Why so expensive at a local cafe not even in a high rent area of a tourist town location. Am I missing something?

20th Dec 19, called here with friends after reading good reviews, 2 tables where there full of dirty dishes, and no people at them, moved all the dishes, lady told us no this no that's not a lot left or in stock, not very much on the menu, and not a. Lot for the kids either, no nuggets or fish fingers, or sausages ended up having ham egg and chips, came out looked really nice, the salad had not been washed, I read that it not dog friendly inside, and certainly too cold to sit outside,

Excellent cafe, nice latte and bacon bap. Nice place to stop and park for a walk over the aquaduct. Heritage trail from cafe which I haven't walked yet but looking forward to do one day. Weekends the car park does get busy but there is extra parking behind the cafe.

Just had the most wonderful quiche. Absolutely everything in this cafe is incredibly fresh and the staff are welcoming and friendly. (Pity they decided to sweep the floor at three o'clock though while we were still relaxing over a cup of tea!)

Staff we're so leasant & hospitable-it has become a tradition over the past 4years, for our family to meet for breakfast. There were 21 of us-range of ages. Food was lovely&tasty. Only thing we didn't enjoy was the coffee- think it was filter & too weak. However, our family had a great time altogether so thank you Caffi Wylfa for your hospitality.

The cafe is very busy and popular with older people. In the summer this would be a great cafe as you can sit outside. The scones were dry and crumbling. In the winter do not bring dogs as they are not allowed inside.
