D. H.Didn't know whether to venture into this cafe as it looks small. The service is quick, the food choice and quality is excellent and has a great atmosphere to meet up with friends and catch up on gossip. I was in York for two days and used this lovely cafe two days in a row. Toilets inside to. Outstanding keep up the good work girls
r. c.Amazing little gem tucked away just for someone as lucky as us to find. Or so we thought. Though we might have been early enough to get in quickly, it wasn't long before there were several waiting outside for their turn. A small shop with a small cook area but they put on a show when the table fare was spread. I got the traditional English breakfast. Yummy!
K. H.Lovely little cosy tearoom in the heart of York. Really nice latte as well. Food was really nice, loved the Brie and bacon panini. Fruit scone was scrumptious. If you want traditional come here. Fantastic 👍🏻
K. P.Good location. The best scones I've tried. Delicious tea. I could give you 4 stars for that young waitress who was chewing gum really ostentatiously at all times during our visit.

T. C.We visited this great establishment quite by chance today and we were not disappointed! If you are looking for a very traditional tea room then this is the place to visit! Staff were incredibly friendly and kept busy as the business is very popular! The menu is good offering sandwiches, cake, jacket potatoes, scones etc all at a very fair price. The toilet was very clean and had a plentiful supply of antibacterial soap etc. If you are looking for a traditional olde world tea room with friendly service and fair prices for good quality food then this is the place to visit. 😁👍
M. B.Lovely little place. Shame about the scones though. I was expecting a place like that to serve homemade scones. I love quaint little places like this, but usually get homemade scones/cakes in other little places.
Would definitely visit again, but would be prepared to pay a little more for homemade scones/cakes.

They did amazingly considering it was just a little cafe.
