Coffee is my thing, I’m not saying I know more than anyone, but it’s my thing. I have numerous ways I make it and get coffee from all over the world. It’s a hobby. I come through York Station (both ways) every three weeks and look forward to getting to sit in the cig room and have one of their espressos. Actually look forward to it. It’sa perfect espresso already tastes perfect and such amazing value. The amazing value makes it taste even better. 10 out of 10 canine with lovely friendly staff.

Came for the first time around a month ago after arriving at the train station too early for my train. Got some coffee and the staff were very nice and professional. Asper in particular was really bubbly and friendly. She was very cheerful and seemed to enjoy her job which radiated happiness. I came back again and the service was just as exemplary as before!

Lovely place if you are early arriving on your trip and stop for a coffee this is the place to keep you warm and relaxing while waiting for your time…just the right taste of latte with vanilla 😋 at York train station

Ben and Kate were very friendly and helpful. Not having a big selection of vegan food they assisted myself and sister to ensure we had enough to eat and drink! Recommended 👍

Great place to grab a coffee at York Station. Cosy and warm and actual decent coffee. They offer alternative milks and alcohol too, and Lisa who served me is a lovely lady who I had a wee chat with. Don’t bother with Costa - sit in Coffee Room 😀

Used to work with one of your colleagues called Lisa and to be honest you've gained a great asset to the team, always cheerful and bubbly and can brighten your day so effortlessly. Glad to see her still on the station and doing what she loves! Giving the passangers a unforgettable experience

There are some lovely staff that work at the coffee room inside york train station especially a woman called Lisa always friendly can have a laugh while remaining professional and easy to talk to and is always a delight to see however there is one particular woman that is always miserable and never seems happy to be at work very minimal conversation has no effort in a conversation and genuinely seems like she is there to serve you and get you gone fast not a good customer service from her compared to the rest I won't go in if I see her working as she has an affect on the moral of the day

When in this morning for a nice cup of coffee, was greeted by the lovely Lisa she was amazing great customer service . Before I sat down to drink my coffee she clean the table we have a nice little chat she made my day ill definitely be back when on my travels just for the customer service alone .

Friendly staff, clean and cool, but no bacon and sausage replacement was tasteless, even with 2 brown sauce satchets. Surprised as East Yorkshire produces excellent pork for sausages and bacon.

Visited this morning, super clean and tidy and the colleagues were so so lovely. I came in stressed with a crying baby and they totally got me sorted, took my food and drink to my table, came over and checked I was Ok and generally helped me calm down after a travel disaster. So kind - totally turned my day around!

Since the leaflet on the table encouraged a review... the cafe sells pre-wrapped sandwiches etc. by Pumpkin & Ginsters, and push-button coffee, at impressively high prices. Nothing bespoke to comment on. The staff didn't seem to want to be there, and I had to ask for my toasted sandwich to actually be toasted. It's fine, but I don't know why they're encouraging reviews of something so unspecial!

A very regular user of York Station I have never been in here. Arriving 20mins early and fancyibg a cup of tea instead of the usual ‘branded’ coffees I popped in to be greeted by a super friendly member of staff who made my tea exactly as asked and brought it the table :-)

This is the first time i have visited the coffee room. The staff are ever so friendly and the cafe was very clean, bright and well stocked. The are two things that made me down vote this cafe is there is no heating in the cafe and was quite cold in there and there was no atmosphere, some back ground music would make such a difference
