If you are into specialty coffee this is the place! Best cappuccino I had in York! Its a very small place, so finding a seat might be difficult, so be ready to get your coffee to go! Highly recommend it

Coffee was exceptional, very smooth oat milk and Flat White was served in the correct 6oz serving size which is rare to find in England 😂
Food was amazing ! Had the kimchi, ox tounge and scrambled tofu sandwich’s which were full of flavour. Personally ox tounge was my favourite.
Everything from the store is eco and biodegradable which is a nice touch.
Would 100% recommend 😄

This is the best coffee shop I visited in York. The best cappuccino I had all trip and in many months was here. They use amazing beans and it’s a very gourmet style for coffee snobs and regular people alike. It is small but they are nice guys. I went here every day of my trip!

I love their coffee! If you're serious about coffee, this is a place to visit in York. A lack of seating is an issue, but the place is tiny and honestly they're well adjusted to the reality of a take-out culture. They have great recommendations if you're wanting to expand your palate, and sell grinds to take back home with you that are certainly a worthy daily home-brew. A slight issue I would note is that their opening times fluctuate a tad - sometimes you can catch them open before the stated opening times and again beyond the close time depending on the weather. But that certainly brightens my day when I can grab one of their coffees before getting on the bus to work!

Very convenient right at the back of merchant adventurer hall.
Very friendly staff, clean and nice environment. Creative and tasty Sandie's. Loves the Tofu sandwich which has a hint of Indian style mixing with Japanese taste, and very refreshing after all.
One of the best flat white and latte I have ever had in the United Kingdom.

Really cosy coffee shops, great coffee and cakes. Lots of vegan options

Nice cake. Not great if you want ordinary tea - they just dump a tea bag in a cup of hot water, add milk and leave you to try to fish it out.
