Wow ! The food here is outstanding ! The staff here are so lovely and sweetly accommodating of requests. You know you found the right place when you don’t need to add salt to your food - because they do the flavors so well. 5 stars for food, ambience and service !

Lovely place! Perfect for a nice relaxed weekend breakfast. Excellent food. From outside the place looks rather tiny, however it offers various options in the small garden and in the small cozy dining room area at the back

The cafe was full inside so we sat outside in the small courtyard, which was lovely. The sandwiches were huge and delicious. My friend has had the cheese scones before and highly recommended them, and the fruit scones looked amazing! Busy, but if you can get a seat definitely worth it.

On my first visit to York, I decided to have brunch at Mannion & Co completely by chance. As I walked in, I felt the cosy environment right away. I sat in the small courtyard which makes you feel like you're sitting in your own. I've had a …

Sourdough... more like SourWow 👍 the food here tasted amazing, no wonder its been in Harden's and the Good Food Guide 4 years running. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm soothing brunch spot in York. Just look at the quality of the food …

Lovely, tasty food. Good choice on the menu so took a while to decide. Waitress arrived promptly to give drinks menu and was kind to bring some water straight away. We had a table in the small, sheltered courtyard at the back. It was busy but we didn't have to wait unduly long for the freshly made and very tasty food. Will be going back.

Fantastic brunch, had the Yorkshire Rarebit with Bacon - excellent choice if you enjoy cheese, eggs and bacon - very filling! Coffee and brownie were both made to perfection.
Service was excellent.
The seating is availalbe both in and outdoors, however there's not much sun in the morning in the seating area so beware it may be chilly. Recommend arriving within 30min of opening to avoid queues.

Had a hot chocolate and fruit scone with jam and cream. Was not expecting the scone to be warm, like fresh out of the oven. Not only that, it was huge. Best scone I've ever had. Can't wait to go to York again, will definitely be returning back here.

Went here on a recent trip to York having read the reviews and seen it rated as a top cafe/restaurant. Have to say I can see why. Had a beautiful breakfast of Portabello Mushrooms, Duck Egg, Thai Peas and Sriracha with a breakfast tea. Friend had the Italian Ham Eggs Benedict which looked lovely and they said they really enjoyed too.
Will definitely go here again next time I'm in York.

1st time here and it certainly won't be the last. The food is made fresh and is delicious. The scones are the very best that I have tasted in a long while and I'm a bit of an expert with scones. I would highly recommend that people visit Mannions and have a great experience of quality.
