Great coffee and yummy cake. Was surprised the kitchen shut around 13:30 on a Saturday!! so that meant no savoury food on cakes were available.

Been here quite a few times now, and always had a lovely meal. I started off with the poached egg on sourdough toast, topped with smoked salmon and spinach. The smoked salmon was gorgeous, so I'd highly recommend that. I got a lemon tea with it, that was also lovely.
They always have a variety of desserts on offer, including jaffa cake cake, Basque cheesecake, toffee pear and chocolate cake, and a vegan chocolate cake. They also have pastries.
I had a salted caramel slice for dessert, which was lovely.
Is expensive but absolutely worth it.

The best pancakes I've had to date, light and fluffy! Cosy and good service, wasn't rushed at all. Nice coffee. Can't wait to return, thank you ☺️.

Seated really quickly but then had a bit of a wait to order. Drinks were delivered quickly and food not long after which was great. We had brunch and all three meals were super tasty. I would highly recommend the orange, clove and honey tea too. Had issues paying by card due to WiFi problems and aybe a little pricey, but would definitely go back again.

Nice coffee although a tad more expensive than I would usually pay. Husband loved his walnut and carrot cake but I was disappointed with the fake cream in my lemon drizzle cake. Friendly staff and clean environment. Lots of gluten free options.

Literally the *perfect* breakfast and very affordable (I wonder how can it be so cheap actually). The venue is comfy and warm, the cake selection is overwhelming, the sourdough soft and crispy at the right places, everything fresh, clean and the waiting staff, including Robert, are really effective and kind.

What an amazing little place! Went there for lunch twice. Absolutely delicious sandwiches, milkshakes and fresh juices. York was lovely, but the food here really help make pur day too. A perfect 5 stars!! 👌🏼

Latte was ok (not in my top 5 in York), my Brownie tray bake -the sides were going hard where it was cut, so I felt it could have been fresher.
Quick fast service.

Nice breakfast here. We had pancakes (including some very good gluten-free ones) and my croque Madame was cheesy and delicious. Friendly service, good tea and coffee. Will try Shakshuka next time!
