Always Amazing!! I'm a big fan of food, especially delicious food and that's exactly what you get here. I've been a customer for a year or so, on a ad hoc basis but have never had a bad meal or coffee, same goes for my family, friends and anyone else I take with me. Friendly local service, family run, care and attention to food and drinks. I can recommend the large breakfast! Quality ingredients and most recently the pancakes / pulled pork pancakes were amazing. I'd also recommend the picnic hamper, great selection and value and plenty enough for 2 hungry people. I'm no longer local but will travel to eat here. My parents and children still come and always recommend it.

Wonderful brunch cafe located on the outskirts of York. The menu has something for everyone and is very reasonably priced. We had a well portioned and delicious Full English as well as a tasty Eggs Royale with a black pudding on the side. My husband had two cappuccinos they were so good! Nice little outdoor space allowed for some sunny day al fresco dining. This will be our new favorite spot to stop at after a weekend in York. Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! We're a vegetarian family and the range was fantastic, with us each having a different breakfast. The quality of food for the price was brilliant. We even took a cheeky cake for later as they looked too good to miss out on! We'd definitely recommend and would come here again if visiting York.

We are very lucky to have the best cafe in York on our doorstep. Fabulous food, amazing staff and always a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The cakes and puddings are delicious too 😋 Excellent value for such high quality, delicious food.

This cafe in Woodthorpe does a fantastic range of baked goods. It looks and tastes as good as any bakery in the centre of York, without the parking charges and the busyness! They also offer breakfasts and hot/cold lunches! We came for lunch after the first lockdown last year and can see it was popular with the local people. The owners were friendly and welcoming! Looking forward to coming back for more treats!!

A very good cafe with very good food and nice staff. Location is a bit untidy. The flower beds etc surrounding the pub and square could do with sorting out but that probably isn't down to the cafe to be fair but does detract from the overall experience.

Proper food ⭐🍴🍽🍴⭐ A lovely place - l felt the warmth of the community 💫 It's well worth turning off the A64 south of York. It was our first visit and being foodies, we had a feast 🥞🍳 with special thx to PG 💞 We can't wait to go back for Sunday lunch 🥦🥕🥔🧅 which is highly recommended. Lovely cafe in the heart of woodthorpe. Good selection of food including vegetarian food. Nice cake selection as treat for afters.

Good food and friendly service, but £11.45 for standard breakfast with tea is ridiculous for a non-city centre location. Small sausage, 1 bacon, 1 egg etc. Will go somewhere cheaper.
