Not a large cafe , has indoor and outdoor seating, staff friendly and service quick. Stopped for coffee and cake very nice, not expensive.

Lovely cosy coffee shop! Lots of home made tasty treats and variety of flavoured coffee and teas. Shop owner was also very welcoming. Nice place to rest up and take a break.

Great quality coffee from such a cute little cafe in a beautiful, historic setting! Cakes and scones were delicious and a chocolatey hot chocolate! Coffees aren't huge but very tasty.

A lovely little pavement cafe, in the shadow of the Minster's east end. Service was friendly and cheerful, if a little slow; really good tea and coffee and some of the best scones and sponge cakes we have ever eaten.

Nice little tea and cake shop close to The Minster in York. If a quiet day you can get a seat in the upstairs window and watch the world go by, but be aware they have only a few seats and tables inside (there is also outdoor seating on the pavement which is, I think, shared with next door). Good place to go for a cup of tea and a cake, friendly staff, a real traditional (as in what I remember from the 1980's, they don't dress up or anything) British tea room.
