Power computing were absolutely brilliant when my gaming PC stopped booting. Incredibly polite and knowledgeable, they were able to suggest a fix quickly and kept me in the loop throughout the entire repair and upgrade process. The repair was completed extremely quickly and the computer has been running like a dream since! The staff are all absolutely brilliant too, incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing customer experience. I would genuinely give them 10/5 if google would let me. I'll definitely be going back for any future PC upgrades.

Power Computing have supplied me with two high spec. PC's for video editing, photo editing and publishing. The company built the computers, which include a substantial amount of internal hardware, and supplied monitors and keyboards etc. The staff are excellent at helping you to design computers to match your applications and are always quick to get back to you when you ask questions. In terms of technical advice and after sales support they are amazing. The company was recommended to me ten years ago and I have no reservations in recommending them myself. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the equipment the company sells is very reliable. The first PC I purchased from them ten years ago is still in use!

I have recently received my first Power Computing PC. I can truly say that my whole experience with them and the PC itself has been fantastic. I took in two laptops recently, both working but had some other problems that needed reviewing. Mine was very quickly diagnosed as being dangerous as the battery was swelling and distorting the case. I'd noticed this but hadn;t realised what it was or that it was a ticking time-bomb and it wasn't the problem I'd gone in with. That was dealt with by a new power supply and I was only charged for that even though they also removed and disposed of the dangerous battery and gave the laptop a clean. All done same day - brilliant. Same for my wife's laptop which had a broken hinge. That was also diagnosed quickly and I was given a quote but we both agreed that it was too much given the cost of the laptop and anyway we can still use it as long as we don;t close the lid which is not a problem. Again the laptop was cleaned but there was no charge at all when I picked it up. Both the chaps I dealt with were friendly and informative and resolved the problems quickly and effectively at low cost. I cannot praise them highly enough.

I purchased a gaming computer from PowerC a few months ago, computer was running great, however I was hit by the blue screen of death. To which I phoned PowerC and they were able to take my computer back on the same day under the two year warranty. They replaced the hardware without any complaints or questions. I have recently purchased my second bespoke pc from power computing. The first one was over 17 years ago running Windows XP Professional. Yes, I was still running the same PC 17 years later. My recent purchase is running Windows 10 professional with Windows XP in Virtual as I have a number of programs that will only run in XP as they are no longer available due to the company's closure. The support I have experienced with Power Computing has been exemplary and I cannot fault the staff for their attitude or work ethic.

Thank you to the fantastic team at Power Computing! I've recently had my computing upgraded to keep up to date with the latest 2020 software updates. After initially emailing PowerC with specifications for future software, that I intend to purchase; I received a quote back (same day) that included all parts & labour, inside my budget. Power Computing had all the parts stocked onsite & were able to upgrade my PC the same day! The PC now includes the latest Intel 10th Gen CPU, Asus Geforce 2070 Super GPU, & TUF Gaming Motherboard. All parts are guaranteed for 2 years, and the knowledgeable team are able to upgrade, fault-find, or build your PC exactly how you want it. If you're not particularly 'hardware IT' minded (like me), the team are really good at recommending products/upgrades to suit your computers use. My PC now operates at an incredible speed and easily powers the programmes that I run on the computer, including high performance simulations such as Xplane & MS FSX. I've added the Samsung Ultra Wide 42" monitor screen for an immersive experience. I'm able to run the simulators on the highest graphics settings and the PowerC PC works beautifully. I needed a high end PC for my daughter to do video editing / effects on. I was considering sourcing the parts and building it myself so I had a good idea of what I needed and cost. I gave Power Computing a call and had a long chat with Tom who is clearly an expert on selecting exactly which parts are needed to make the right machine. He first asked what my budget was. Then got all the details of what it was needed for. We were then able to select a base machine and change certain bits for optimum performance within my budget. What was really cool was that I could change the parts on the website interface and see the total cost change accordingly. In the end I felt like I had got the PC equivalent of a Saville Row suit, perfectly tailored to my needs. The best part of the service was that at no point was I encouraged to buy or pay more than I needed. In fact Tom made a couple of suggestion to actually reduce the cost. We now have the PC up and running and it does everything and more than expected. I ordered on a Tuesday and it arrived on the Friday, well delivered by Parcelforce in a morning slot. Also comes with a 2 year warranty and support. I priced up all the parts and I don't think I could have built it myself for the same price, I guess because these guys source everything wholesale. The only problem is I want a PC as good for myself now! If you need a PC of any type, give Power Computing a call. Absolutely superb.

I found these guys by accident yesterday morning. I am building a new system and decided to buy a new GPU. With prices and availability being quite bad at the moment, I decided to look around a bit and found a couple on other place's or place's where you never know what you are going to get and then I stumbled across Power Computing, Great review's and seemed like a solid and reputable company. I decided this is the place where I would spend my money. I tried ordering and came across a small issue. Recently bought a high spec PC for office/gaming - Spoke with Antonio who helped me through the specification and ordering process to ensure my requirements were met. Very patient and knowledgeable. The PC was delivered on the requested day, very well packed. Worked straight out of the box with no fiddling with settings. First of all I have to say that I told Tom I was not going to give him 5 stars, I wish I could give him 4.9 but I can't due to how Google ratings work. I need to explain myself so you know why I am giving him this score. The service, knowledge, advice, price and general impression is a five star one without doubt, they are truly professionals and you can bring your computer without reserve. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I had to go twice, the first time I tried my laptop to be assessed it was dealt with over the counter and the problem was not solved, the hard drive was not working properly, it was impossible for anyone to know, and that's why it should had been tested. I knew the hard drive was a little on the blink so the second time I insisted. Eventually the hard drive was the culprit and was changed. I have to say I am very happy with the repair on my laptop 100%recommended shop.

I needed to buy a new PC as my current one was not man enough to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I spotted Power Computing whilst browsing the net and called them. They were very helpful and knowledgable and invited me to go and see their showroom which was only a few miles away for me. The visit proved very good and I placed an order with them during the visit. The new PC arrived but sadly Parcel Force had caused damage to the carton and content. Once I'd opened the carton I could see extensive damage to the graphics card power supply and maybe the mother board. I rang Power C and they were devastated to hear of the damage. As we were only 45 minutes away they immediately despatched an engineer who, on arrival, inspected the PC and decided to take it back to base with the promise that they would build a new one for me. The engineer arrived at around 12 noon but I was amazed to get a knock on the door around 5 pm deivering my newly built PC to me. Not only that but the engineer even set the PC up for me to make sure everything was in order. Awsome, amazing service so refreshing in todays world. Would recommend them to everyone.

Great service, quick repair and upgrade without hassle. I lost hours of work three times. My computer turned off and restarted, losing the document that I was working on. The three shutdowns were days apart, just enough time to stop saving the document every five minutes. Power computers changed a faulty power supply, upgraded the hard drive to solid state and got it up and running in less than 24 hours. I did not even need to log into my accounts again to open programs and it is so, so fast. Great service

Having finally retired my 15 year old HP Pavillion desktop I spent many hours comparing various computer companies online and in shops to find the best supplier for my new home/gaming machine. Having read many reviews I finally opted for Power Computing in Kempston. Their website was very easy to use and I quickly put together what I thought was the ideal desktop within my budget. I then contacted Tom at Power C via telephone and discussed my choice with him. Tom asked a few questions about the use I intended to put the computer to and offered a suggestion or two on type of graphics card etc to ensure longevity. There was no pushy sales tactics and Tom was very friendly and informative on the phone. I placed the order and three days later the machine was ready for collection. Being local I picked up the machine myself and upon returning home unpacked and set up my new purchase. The machine was very well packed and blisteringly fast. The quality of the build appears first class and everything worked as it should. After a few hours I tried and failed to connect my aged NAS hard disk drive to the system. I phoned Tom for some advice and Tom very kindly remotely accessed my machine and fully installed my NAS drive for me. I don't believe other "Online" companies would be so obliging. The computer works perfectly and looks great in my home office. In all excellent customer service, friendly staff and superb products. I would definitely use Power Computing again and recommend them to my friends.

I also wanted the build specifications higher than those recommended by Microsoft in order to cope with the future development of add ons provided by third party developers. After many years of terrible computers, and the suppliers I finally came across powerc. For over ten years I have happily recommended to friends and have bought myself and family members four computers from them. my oldest at near ten years old has only just become unreliable after a lighting strike blew up the surge protector! My one claim on a graphics card right at the end of its warranty period was honored with no problems at all. My gaming computers and home computer work flawlessly. Even if they didn't , you can rely on an honest reliable appraisal of the problem and any home workarounds discussed. For all this they are not even the most expensive by a long shot. You can get cheaper ,but in my experience that has meant shoddy parts and zero help with problems. . Anyway more than happy to put my name to a review of this rare company that actually seems to spend time caring about its customers.

My old computer from PowerC went phut after years and years of service. PowerC gave me the bad news that the chip had fried itself and it was new chip or new computer. They gave me a great price for a new computer, bespoke built for my needs and assured me , as a complete computer illiterate, that all I needed to do was plug it in and it would work. That's exactly what happened, 30 minutes scrabbling under the desk for the leads, 10 setting up the e-mail, and off it went, first time. I'm not sure how but it sort of set itself up to look exactly like my old one and all the files reappeared. Major retailers are just interested in flogging you the PC and then you are on your own whereas the advice and service from PowerC is exemplary. Thanks guys. .

In the past, I used to build my own PC's from component parts....... then I discovered Power Computing! I had considered building a new machine myself, and I priced up the components for doing so, but then I worked out the difference between the cost of a self build, and the price of a professional build. I can't imagine any company doing a better job than Power Computing. I asked Tom to design & build me a desktop computer for use in a home recording studio. As such, it needed to be fast and quiet . . . With the emphasis on QUIET! ... as it is to be used in the same small room, where acoustic instruments are recorded. However when my PC died recently (6 year old) I did some online research and called into a couple of large computing stores but was not impressed with the spec/price of any of the PC's on offer. I'm not a techy guy so I did make several calls to Tom for advice and nothing was too much trouble for him. Again rang Tom and we talked through it and I placed my order that Monday and it was delivered on the Thursday. First of all the staff at reception are knowledgeable and only too happy to offer advice and guidance to both the uninitiated and the technically aware customer. Over the years, some of my equipment has required repairs, which they have always done effectively and at a reasonable cost when out of warranty. Recently I have been plagued by a virus and a faulty Microsoft update which although they proved challenging, Power Computing resolved the problems, taking care that I would not lose any data. Would I buy yet another computer from them? Absolutely and without hesitation. Buying from some of the large computer stores where you may be lucky to find someone pc literate is a none starter when I can buy comparable equipment that has been built by the actual people who talk to you and who design your PC."
