m.I also had a hard drive fail on me, so took it to Dr IT Services to see if I could get several years worth of vital files recovered. When I went round I was greeted by Vlad who was extremely welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and explained what my options could be. He took my hard drive to carry out initial investigations and the next day informed me that he had diagnosed the issue, but it was something that would have to rectified by a data recovery lab. He fully explained everything: pricing, timescales, sent it off for me and kept me up-to-date and informed me of their findings. I had a replacement drive with all my recovered files back within 10 days, which over a busy Christmas period, was very impressive.
Vlad was excellent, warm, friendly, professional and provided informative, courteous updates and communication throughout the whole process.

K. P.Amazing speedy and professional service! The hinge on my laptop broke, after seeing the google reviews I decided to use Dr IT as he was available to look at my laptop immediately. He was able to quickly diagnosis what part would be needed, I took my laptop home so I could continue working from home and he texted me when the part had arrived. When the part had arrived I dropped the laptop just after 9am on a Saturday Morning and it was ready within an hour! Dr IT had social distancing markings and wore a mask so I felt very safe getting my laptop fixed at this time. J.Where Do I start. I hardly ever review. But Vlad is the Genius.
The Quick Review - Portable Hardware stopped working but he was able to save the memories and transfer it to my new Portable Hardware.
The Detailed Review - So I was apprehensive at first (this is because I gave my Portable HHD to be fixed by these idiots In Birmingham (Read their bad review I'm going to give shop name Gadget Shop). They couldn't 😒 Wasted 4 Days.
However gave Vlad a call and it sounded promising. When I got the address I was expecting a small shop but it was actually a house (made me feel a lil nervous). But I went for it anyways at this point I had nothing to loose except the memory data already lost.
Spoke to Vlad really down to earth guy, explained to him everything. Looked at the drive said it looks good but not promising anything (which I get).
So I got at his place at 4pm last week 18th July and collected my New HHD with all the data about 7.30pm same day.
3 hours later A VERY HAPPY customer.
I loved his service so much that I'm planning to take an old laptop to rescue more memories. Once I get paid 😛

C. H.My laptop's screen wasn't working, so after realising he was in my area, I gave my Laptop to Vlad on Thursday evening. Around noon on Saturday, the problem was diagnosed, and the required part ordered.
During waiting for the delivery, he also kept me in the loop when the mail was slightly delayed, which was very much appreciated. As soon as the part arrived, he immediately swapped it out, and let me know that it was ready on the same day.
He even changed the thermal paste of the laptop's GPU and CPU, explained the cause of the initial problem, and made alterations to prevent future issues, which were unexpected but very nice surprises.
Would definitely recommend to anyone, and will return myself for any future computer-related service/repairs.
