I've been going to this guy for years, knows his stuff inside and out, his prices are low, and he's as honest as the day is long, this really is the best place in Birmingham for anything to do with computers, can't recommend him enough.

I went to get a new battery for my laptop and I was waiting 1 week for a laptop battery but when it did arrive he did it for me within 50 minutes to do it for me. He charged me £55 for it. But when I got home I noticed that he had not clipped it back together properly really.

My laptop stopped working after having downloaded something spurious. I called Darren who immediately assured me. It took him 20 minutes to restore my machine. Thanks guys. I arrived to find a tidy and clean shop and a friendly hello. My laptop display was playing up. I expected to book the repair, but I was told to come back in an hour. On return, the fault had been found and rectified. Needless to say I'm delighted.

I have used Kings Heath computers for years and they are brilliant! :-) If they can they will repair small issues immediately while I am in the shop, if not then I leave it and they fix it in a few days. :-) Charges are always reasonable. I am worried the road closure is sffecting their business. I recommend everybody makes the effort to go there, They are worth it Diane

Just a quick review to register my enormous pleasure with the service I got the other day. I'd managed to make a mess of replacing the hard drive in my iMac and took it in to the expert hopefully to fix. Thoroughly friendly reception, constructive and helpful. A mere hour or so later (I was devastated - I thought it would be a week Tuesday) completely and properly fixed - for an entirely reasonable charge, repairing the tiny component I had managed to break! Next time I'll just have him do the work and not mess about myself!

This is the third time that I have used Kings Heath Computers and it is another positive experience. Laptop was sorted within a few hours and was very reasonably priced. On Tuesday last, I popped into Kings Heath Computers on spec to be greeted by Darren, who welcomed me warmly. I was having trouble with my Apple Mac and an Epsom Printer, not being able to sign in. He suggested I bring the appliances in which did, on a blazing hot day! Without any hesitation, he magically got me connected to my Apple Mac which was a great relief. I had been struggling with it for hours at home. Next reconnected my Printer to the Apple Mac, and within moments, the Printer willingly spewed up full page copies! Unbelievable!! Darren, at no time made me feel incompetent - he cheerfully ran through the relevant procedures, in simple English. Thoroughly recommend Darren, and Kingsheath Computers to anyone who has problems with Computers and Printers. He makes the whole visit friendly and so productive!! He even suggested I drove my car outside his shop, and he quickly deposited my Mac and Printer, when I arrived, saved me parking in a packed street. Well done Darren - my renewed thanks. Run by Darran and David, this shop has provided excellent service for a number of years. I have had two desktop computers built here, and also bought a reconditioned laptop. Last week my external hard drive, used for backup, suddenly failed. Dave not only recovered the contents and put them on a new hard drive, he even brought the drive to me on a very cold and wet day. I am disabled and a walk to the bus stop would have been unwise. The charge for the new hard drive plus the work involved was most reasonable.

Being a regular customer, they have always been friendly, happy to help and very good at their job. They always give free advice out to go that extra mile for their customers, be it advice for the actual issue, or advice on what caused it, or how to prevent it happening in the future. I took my laptop in on Thursday as it just gave up the ghost at the weekend. The gentleman who served could not be more helpful, he tried absolutely everything to get it going, but unfortunately he discovered that water had got inside it and it had shorted. LIFE SAVER ! i was visiting a client in birmingham (I'm from the states). Didn't realize that that voltage is nearly double that of the US. I ended up blowing up my computer when i plugged it in... sparks, smoke, and everything. we looked around for a lot of places to fix it and most places couldn't or would have taken so long that it would have been pointless (i needed it fixed asap because i had files and software installed that were necessary to finish all my projects while i was in the uk). we found kings heath and they basically got it fixed same day and at a very reasonable rate. thanks so much! oh also i should mention that my computer is in an extra small case which is a freaking puzzle to navigate. so kudos on that too lol

My Lenovo Laptop had a flickering screen and after trying all sorts of software suggestions nothing worked. Kings Heath Computers diagnosed a faulty screen and changed it for me in a couple of days at a decent price and 12 months guarantee. The Laptop is now working perfectly. Obviously I had not wanted to buy a new screen but thats life.
