Absolutely Top Service! (Long term review). It is worth mentioning that the shop is no longer on the corner where you used to walk past it, initially I thought perhaps it had gone, they are now upstairs in the centre so make sure you call the number or visit the lovely receptionist for the building, who is really helpful (last time we were there was charity cake day, which made the visit extra awesome aha!). We first dropped in here a few months ago to have an old 2015 MacBook Pro repaired after being told it was a write off by the Apple shop in town. Kevin took it in to look at and then contacted me in fast time with a diagnosis and talked me through the issues and repair options. The laptop was then fixed and also had some upgraded parts fitted at the same time, such was how good the quote and service was. I returned again with another issue which was quickly identified as my charger, this time I was given advice on the best way to source one at the lowest possible price, very impressed that they cared enough for their customers not to try and change 90£ for a replacement like Apple store, thanks to the guys the problem was sorted out for around 33% of that! Extremely impressed with the service these guys provide and how friendly and knowledgeable they are. It was interesting to hear that they also build non Mac PC's and mining rigs, we will be returning again any time we have Mac issues and also to source and update some non Apple machinery too. Thanks Kevin for an awesome service, I wish you all the best in business, its great to have shops like yours to use in the city!

I taken my old 2012 mac laptop to replace my battery and mot service. I run a business so I needed a quick turnaround and can't do without my laptop. Kevin was very professional and knowledgeable. I decided to wait and he was able to repair and service within an hour. Delightful to have my mac laptop back in good condition!. I took my 2015 Macbook Pro to Kevin because my mac was becoming very slow. He gave honest advice, explained everything really well and provided an excellent service and was really responsive. I got my battery replaced, SSD upgraded and all my data transferred and my mac feels like new. I also previously came here in 2018 after my same Macbook got water damaged and they fixed it promptly for less than a fifth of the price apple were going to charge. Highly recommend his services and have told all my friends about him.

Rang kevin on monday morning regarding my laptop which i had spilled water on. it had stopped turning on. He told me to come in as soon as possible to prevent further water damage to my laptop so i made a trip to him that afternoon. He diagnosed the fact that i had to replace my keyboard straight away. I told him that i was a university student and he knew how much i needed it back quickly so he had the job done by 1pm the next day! My laptop is working as good as new now with its new keyboard! And at a cost of £140 which is so much cheaper compared to every where else I had researched. I’m so grateful to have to my laptop back so quickly. Thank you Kevin! Highly recommend

Took in two ancient faulty macBooks to try and cobble one working one. After 8 hours of cleaning and swapping out parts, he informed me that whilst doable, it'd be cheaper in the long run to buy something less ancient. Didn't charge me anything, was consistently open and patient explaining things my clueless self, actually apologised for wasting -my- time. I've no doubt that had I done the same to other local techs I'd have paid a 3 figure sum for a machine with a 3 month life span. Cannot recommend highly enough, best Mac Guy I've ever used. A reassuring safety blanket for all of us in the city reliant on Apple systems but unable to afford new tech.

Amazing Service and Price. I spilled Coke on my macbook and took it to several shops but they were all expensive. Thanks to Kevin who fixed my macbook same day with an amazing price it now feels like a brand new laptop. Do not look further than this store. Trust me. I accidentally dropped some juice on my new Macbook that I purchased from Apple recently. I thought it was game over for a £1300 laptop. I took it to a local store who took a month to finally tell me it cannot be fixed and that the motherboard needed replacing. I called Kevin at we fix macs for a quote on a motherboard replacement. He advised that he could fix it as he specialises in fixing mac's that 'cant be fixed' so I gave him a go. Did not expect much and thought I will hear back within a few days with bad news. He called me an hour later saying the macbook is fixed and ready to be collected. Excellent service, speedy and very professional and very reasonably priced. He even stayed later than usual so I could pick it up as i needed it for work over the weekend and he only works weekdays ( it was a Friday evening). Will be using his services for all my electronic repairs from now on.

Took my iPhone XS in, with a 'ghost screen touch' issue. Found Kevin extremely knowledgeable, helpful and utterly professional. The issue was diagnosed and resolved within 24 hours and the phone is as new and back in use. I know where I will be going for any future Apple product related issues.

Had the best experience with Kevin from We Fix Macs! Being a university student, managing to drown my MacBook because of an exploded water bottle in my bag on the first day of my final year was not a fun occasion. Found We Fix Macs online and submitted an enquiry and called, and Kevin got back to me within half an hour. I took my laptop straight down to him and he gave me a very detailed explanation of what was probably wrong with my laptop, and best and worst case scenario - even telling me that if it wasn't fixable he would send me a link to find a replacement one at an affordable price! I left it with him, and exactly an hour later, he called to tell me what was wrong with my laptop and how he could fix it. The motherboard needed fixing (which he did in record time) and he said the battery would need to be replaced soon, so after asking him if he could do it, he ordered a battery in. (All within an hour of taking my laptop to him!) The battery arrived two days later at 2:30pm and I received a call from Kevin at 4:00pm to say it was ready to pick up. He stayed a bit later at the shop so I could pick it up that evening, and when I got it, he gave me a thorough explanation of what he had done and I found he had given it a deep clean too. After water logging my laptop so badly (and it being 5 years old already), I really didn't have much hope that it was fixable but Kevin fixed it so quickly and left it in a better state than I gave it to him in. The whole service only cost me £235 and I didn't need to pay until after I had picked up my laptop and was happy with it. Overall, I really couldn't recommend Kevin or We Fix Macs more - the reviews are all 5 stars for a reason! If you have any problem with your laptop (especially water damage), this place is your saviour and it won't break the bank either. Thank you again Kevin, from a very relieved student.

I've just had my Iphone 10 pro fixed in 30 minutes, faulty ear piece speaker replaced, they gave my phone a full health check and said it was good as new otherwise and kindly cleaned my charging port too. Will defiantly use again and recommend to friends. Great Job!

Totally WOWED by kevin's exceptional service. I showed up out the blue at 3pm on a thursday afternoon with a macbook that would'nt turn on, kevin diagnosed it within the hour on the spot, ordered the replacement parts express delivery and had my macbook returned to me in excellent health by 1PM THE NEXT DAY. He turned around my broken mac in less than 24 hours, was super communicative, and charged me a very reasonable fee. Kevin is a life saver, my old mac book pro's hard drive failed but Kevin worked his magic and after a new hardrive it works like new. not only that he helped install my hardrive back up so now I have everything sorted and am ready to start working again.
