Went in when a second hand laptop I'd bought wouldn't connect to external displays. Initially the person encouraged me to take it back as it would be under warranty but I decided against that as I wanted an ssd fitted too. They took in the laptop, diagnosed it as having a broken chip, and returned it to me without letting me pay them for their work. Had they been able to do the work, the price was reasonable (£120 for parts and work for fitting a new 1tb sata ssd). Gave honest, transparent and helpful advice. Great service and will be going back if I need any work doing in the future. Also have a wonderful dog.

Incredible service with very quick turnarounds. After being quoted high prices for a fan replacement on a macbook these guys came in well under the other quotes. Really helpful, down to earth and a great service all round. Highly recommend their services. Will be using them for all future needs.

What can I say.... After calling around lot of “money hungry” people. I called these guys Andrew WOW. So friendly, compassionate to my issue and resolved it over the phone. Thank you guys. I know where I will be coming in the future and where I will recommended. One criticism, you don’t have a “buy me a coffee” page. I would love to have brought you one for the help received. 😁

After being told that my liquid-damaged laptop had a "next to no chance" of being repaired by another local business, I doubtfully took it into Bristol Computer Repairs having already accepted my fate of needing to purchase a new laptop. I was flabbergasted when in two days I received a call saying that my laptop was fixed and ready for collection for a very reasonable, indiscriminatory price, and I fully believe them when they say that they were probably one of the only places in Bristol who could have done the job - a fantastic one with 6 months warranty. If you could have seen the amount of boiling hot coffee spilled over my laptop (wouldn't switch on or charge after days) you would understand just how much of an impressive job they (so far!) seem to have done. An expensive laptop and its data saved two weeks before heading back to university - thank you. The guys are also friendly and seem genuine. From my own experience I would definitely recommend to others and will be returning myself for any future issues - hopefully not another spill.

Friendly staff, no devious costs, and even some extra mile service. Sadly, it turned out my laptop couldn't be fixed without motherboard replacement (so I ended up just getting another laptop elsewhere), but these people didn't charge me anything for the assessment and even confirmed my data was in tact and took out the harddrives for me (and gave them to me of course) free of charge so I can hopefully get my data off them in the future. As an added bonus, I'm kind of agoraphobic and have anxiety issues up the wazoo when it comes to talking with people in "real" life, so I ended up accidentally leaving the machine with them for a few extra months before finally plucking up the courage to go back and pick it up and they still had it (I was so worried I'd get there and they'd say I left it alone too long so they sold it for scrap or something). In fact, when I finally did go in to pick it up, they didn't even mention anything about me leaving it with them for so long, all that anxiety of mine over nothing lol. Nice staff, hope their business goes well. Oh! One area for improvement maybe is in their communication via phone/email. It is very hard to get a hold of any of them without going to the store in person, which is the kind of radio silence environment that makes a person like me spiral a bit with worries. But, like I said above, turned out I was worrying over nothing, so it's only a minor critique, I'm sure they're just very busy ppl. So yeah! Good place, would recommend, will go back if I have any more computer troubles in the future. P.S. Their dogs are cool too.

After a disaterous NYE spillage i took my Dell Inspiron 5570 to Bristol Computer Repairs. They told me plain and simple what the repair might cost depending on what components might be damaged. In the end they managed to fix it for the lowest quoted price - only having to swap a couple of components rather than the entire motherboard saving me from buying a whole new laptop. Top notch service overall, know what they're doing and super friendly.

I have had my computer repaired which is windows 7 a number of times but has never been satisfactory . I contacted Bristol Computer Repairs Shop and explained what I needed. They said it would be no problem. The repair is very good the computer is working much faster and more efficient . The staff were very helpful and the price is very good. I highly recommended this shop.

I would highly recommend Bristol Computer Repairs! I have just had my Apple Macbook screen replaced - the staff are really helpful and at my request (due to needing it back for work) they managed to do a high quality repair within an hour, it comes with a 12 month guarantee and it cost less than half the price quoted by Apple. I had also called around 15 other (also highly rated) laptop repair shops in Bristol and this was the best quote I received - I would definitely use Bristol Computer Repairs again!

Took in a mac (only place in the area that repairs these) with severe water damage for repair and they were willing to have an attempt at fixing it. Unfortunately it was too damaged but service was professional and good communication despite the current situation. Great prices for repair. On top of this they offer a no fix no fee policy meaning that you will be getting the best value for your money. Will not be going anywhere else for repairs in the future and also staff offered useful advice in looking for a replacement. No faults at all.

Excellent service at a low price. They knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it, just from a phone call. Probably a wire, they said. They not only replaced the rogue wire (cost £9), fixed he problem, and didn't even charge for the new wire. If you've got a problem, these are the guys to go to, no question.

I have a good 24 inch monitor which I've had for a few years from new. It stopped working and I thought it was possibly the inbuilt power supply which had gone bad. First they found the motherboard seemed like it had been wet or corroded and cleaned that up. Then couldn't get replacement power supply board for it so checked out the individual components, ordered them in (OK, had to be from China). Replaced the individual components including an ic chip and got it working again as good as new. All for fixed price of £50 which seemed reasonable. If they hadn't been able to fit it wouldn't have been a charge.

Had a really good online experience buying a new but unboxed Samsung Tab S6 from this company. I searched the web high and low for a deal because a newer model has superceded this excellent one. Amazon are selling for £500 and I got this one new for £370. It was advertised on eBay but I was able to get through to George easily on the phone to discuss the item and was made to feel confident about any after sales/ warranty requirements. The tab was sent next day with Royal Mail special delivery. All my queries were responded to quickly and professionally. I would definitely use again and I will keep this company in mind for phone repairs etc.

Brilliant little shop. I had an issue with my gaming pc, I was unsure what the issue was so was going in to buy a psu and a new ssd. After speaking with the chap in there he said not to waste the money on the psu, it was most likely the ssd, which it was. He also said if that didn’t sort it, bring it in and they would diagnose for free! They also gave me some heat paste for free as well. Excellent customer service and the ssd was cheaper than I could find anywhere else! Would highly recommend.
