5* is not really enough for this couple who so lovingly put a mix of our old camcorder tapes on to discs! They were all returned so promptly as well.The turnaround from posting the discs to returning them all was only 4 days.They were very well packaged. We haven't got through an all family sit down yet to watch them but have watched a few clips here and there.They all play with no problem,are of good quality and have already given us a few laughs..but we have to have a 'cinema' night with them to watch them all. Don't hesitate to send your old camcorder or video films to Cliff and Emily, they are trustworthy, true to their word and inexpensive. We can never see some of our loved ones visually as we have had these tapes so many years and been unable to watch them as if they are still with us but with these discs it was heartbreaking but also the best thing in the world to be able to see my own Mum and Dad again. We can't thank you enough. My only negative! We will have to get in the loft and search for some more family tapes now! We want them ALL put on discs! Your hard work is much appreciated. If you are thinking of having any video tapes transferred to DVDs, I highly recommend Memories On Video! I had found an old family video camera tape cassette (dated 1999!) I wasnt sure what was on it but took a gamble after searching online and found this website, and sent it off to Cliff & Emily to be transferred to DVD. The turnaround was fantastic! I only posted it on Monday and received it back on the Saturday! The DVD played on our really old DVD player with no problem at all, and it was really lovely to see what was on it! I received my DVD’s last week and I am thrilled with them. I had 18 tapes in various sizes, which Cliff and Emily were able to convert them all. I got our tapes converted as a Christmas present for my parents. They have been looking to do it for years and have been quoted ridiculous amounts in the past, upwards of £350!! When I discovered Memories on Video I could not believe they were only charging £6 per tape. The service was extremely fast and I received them back within a week of sending them off, which meant my parents didn’t even realise they were missing. The website is brilliant and very straight forward and does a great job of explaining everything you need to know. I also spoke to Cliff on the phone who did a good job of reassuring me that they have never had any tapes go missing in the post, as long as you send via tracked!! I would love to thank Cliff and Emily for their services as I know how much this is truly going to mean to my parents. I certainly know how we’re going to be spending Christmas this year…

It feels odd sending something so precious to someone you don't know, but as a family business, Memories on Video will take great care of your recordings when converting them onto DVD. Cliff and Emily are lovely and helpful, their service is second to none and they offer incredible value for money compared to most (my local shop was charging the same for one cassette as MoV charged for all 5 tapes). So if you need your cassettes converted onto DVD then they are definitely the people to go to.

Just sent Cliff & Emily some 25+ year old camcorder tapes that had been left untouched for very many years. I wanted to convert a long-since forgotten tape to DVD as a surprise Christmas present for my mum. The idea of posting a precious home video to people I had never met before was a little daunting, but Cliff and Emily were absolutely first-class people to deal with. With great trepidation I sent my Mum's and Dad's 66 tapes, VHS, VHS-C, 8mm and DV, to Memories on Video, this was our families' lives in a box!. Cliff re-assured me they would arrive safely in the post and they did. Three of the tapes were broken so we could not even tell what was on them before we sent them. None of this was a problem for Memories on Video, within a week (over a Bank Holiday) all of the tapes were returned to us with the DVDs attached, the broken ones were repaired and copied too. The results are fantastic, we can now easily look at all of our old memories quickly and easily and the quality is excellent. I have now copied them all onto USB Sticks which play on our TV directly. The care and service from Cliff and Emily is fantastic, they understand what the tapes mean to you and deal with you quickly and patiently. I am so pleased with the service that I will soon be sending my own tapes for the same treatment. Thank you Cliff and Emily. Update - I have now sent my sister's and my own tapes, 68 in total. Once again they were transferred to DVD and returned very quickly. We are now enjoying watching the films again and have the peace of mind that they are now safely in digital format. Cliff and Emily were brilliant. I emailed before sending the videos as I had some American VHS’ that I wasn’t sure could be copied, and he emailed me straight back. No problem Cliff said, so off they went. Payment was a doddle too. Great value for money. Really prompt service as well. I’m pretty sure they were returned within 7days. The suggestion of getting a new DVD player if they didn’t work on our current one (which they didn't, but this said more about the DVD player being the problem than the dvds) was great advice. Had some old camcorder recordings of our children when they were young. Camcorder stopped working years ago and we have not been able to view the footage. We were unsure what was on each tape. Compared to the price that others are charging for video-to-DVD conversion I was a bit sceptical at first about whether Memories on Video would provide a professional service. I cannot praise Memories on video enough, having found a number of old camcorder tapes I had not seen .I found that my old Digital camcorder was broke so I could not watch them. We've had multiple VHS tapes of our son in our house for about 15 years and I finally decided to find someone to put these on DVD for us. After some research I found multiple companies that do this service, but charge from £25.00 up per tape. As we had about 6 tapes that was a lot of money to me. Then I found this website - Memories On Video, which advertised the same service for £6! I read through all the lovely reviews and decided to take the plunge and send of our treasured tapes to Cliff & Emily. The process was so simple and we had our tapes back about a week later, carefully packaged, each DVD attached to individual tape so you can easily know what is what and instructions how to play the DVD's. I really liked the personal note from Cliff and Emily handwritten on the instructions letter :). The first time I played them on our DVD player I cried with joy - we have not been able to see these videos for so long! What a brilliant service from this company - I would highly recommend. Fantastic, fast service. I searched around first to find the cheapest service since I wanted 12 copies in the end on dvd. After emailing the company I got a very quick response. I posted my camcorder tapes (5 in total) and hoped I had made a good choice. One of the tapes was blank and I was not charged for this tape. Within days I received a recorded delivery package containing 12 DVDs plus the 5 original tapes back all clearly marked. In total I paid £5 for each copy and £5 for secure postage. You won't find a cheaper quality service on the net and lovely trustworthy people to deal with. Looking forward to seeing my kids faces when watching video footage from 17 years ago! There was a section on the video where there was only sound and no images (yes we still have a video player!). Memories on Video have been able retrieve the images to accompany the sound - amazing. Who says you get what you pay for? Memories on Video are very reasonably priced but the service and quality is fantastic! With a large number of Hi 8 videos of my children in the 80s and 90s, I was desperate to get them converted but the cost looked like being prohibitive. On-line reviews of the equipment to do it myself suggested this would be far from straightforward. At that point, I spotted Cliff and Emily's Memories on Video on the internet and suddenly everything fell into place. It was with bated breath that I sent my video tape of our very small boys, now in their thirties, off to Memories on Video for transcription to disc. The price was ridulously low and the reviews far too positive, for this not to be a scam. I checked the reviews on Google and on Trustpilot but could not find a snag. I checked the reviews for other products by the same reviewers and the reviewers all seemed genuine. I decided that this was indeed both good and true. Who would go to the bother of faking over 600 reviews? For a fee of £10 including recorded delivery and the cost of a disk? It had to be OK. I had been meaning to get the transcription done months ago but by 14th December, I had left my posting far too late to expect a return by my wife's birthday on 2nd January. Imagine my surprise when the tape and dvd arrived back today, 23rd December. As the tape was over thirty years old, I was sure that recordings would be very poor, but no - perfect. Had 2 short separate video tapes to transfer to dvd. The service and cost, £15 for the 2, including postage was excellent. They were returned within 10 days and I only sent them second class! It would be even more cost efficient if other customers have longer tapes to transfer. I would certainly recommend them.

I dropped off over 40 camcorder tapes and VHS cassettes, some over 20 years old, of precious family videos as I was worried some may end up breaking during conversion due to old age/ poor storage if I did it myself. Within 2 days in the weekend before Christmas 2019 they were done, converted to DVDs, and to a very high standard (I collected them myself as I'm local). I have just finished converting them to MP4 format to share with family and store on my computer plus back-ups and am incredibly pleased, as are family members. I used 'Handbrake' to convert the DVDs to MP4 as it is free to download and use without any restrictions or limits on its use as is common with other trial versions of conversion software, plus it was fast and easy to use (use 'open source' to open the DVD, use 'browse' to choose your folder destination, and then 'Start encode' to start the conversion) and detailed instructions are readily available online too. I highly recommend this lovely company and it is much cheaper at £5 per DVD than other companies and they do an excellent, fast job.
