Highly recommend! Ian is knowledgeable, friendly, quick and efficient. He communicates regularly throughout the process so you always know what’s going on. He explains what’s happened in an easy to understand way so you can always make the most informed choice. We used Adept PC repair when my switch broke down last year, and Ian found that the internal battery had somehow disconnected, so he reconnected for no charge. Can't reccomend enough. Great, fast service. Above all, I can't fault Ian's honesty. He was able to address a problem with my console relatively easily without replacing any parts and returned the unit in working condition at no charge (If he had charged his prices are more than reasonable). I won't hesitate to return if any of my other electronics require repair.

My PS 4 Pro suddenly died on me and I was freaking out. I tried to find a place to repair it found Ian through google. He is one of the most genuine and nicest guys i have ever met. And he is super skilled it didn't take him more than a minute to diagnose the problem. He fixed it and gave a full clean up and a 24 hr testing and now it is good as new.

My PS4 Pro needed a good clean as the fan sounded like a jet engine, Ian not only gave the console a good de-dusting but also applied some new thermal paste to the CPU. I called Adept PC repair just a couple of days ago about my sons Nintendo switch lite having cracks in its shell casing, immediately Ian was able to find the exact colour shell to replace and ordered it in, got in touch as soon as he had it. I dropped the switch over lunchtime and was ready to collect only a couple hours after! Very impressed with the quality of the repair the excellent communication and speedy delivery! Very impressed with the service I received. I called about my Nintendo switch with a black screen issue. I dropped my console off on Wednesday and within a hour I had a text with the diagnosis and cost of repair asking if I wanted to go ahead. I was extremely happy with the speedy diagnosis and the price of repair so of course I went ahead with the repair. The next day on the Thursday morning I received another text message to say the console is repaired and ready to pick up. Ian is very responsive, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating. After fixing faulty hardware on an XB360 some years ago, I went straight back to Adept when my 1X started failing and I couldn't do anything to resolve it. Messaged Sunday evening and by 16:00 on Monday Ian had diagnosed the problems, replaced the HD, adjusted the cable placement (preventing future issues with a MS design flaw) and handed it back to me. Excellent, honest and professional service with very competitive prices and great value. Highly recommend Ian and Adept PC Repair to anyone - definitely get in touch with them before visiting those generic high street 'jack of all' shops!

My Xbox one X broke just outside of warranty and Xbox quoted 239£ to fix. Due to the high price and long timescale of repair I opted to look locally. After stupidly updating my bios via Device Manager i bricked the bios of a very expensive MSI GT83VR Notebook which was now a very expensive paper weight. I sent an email over to Ian on a Sunday not expecting any response until at least Monday or Tuesday.. to my surprise he rang me and asked me to pop it down. I had my laptop back fully working Monday morning! now that is service. Thank you very much Ian. I'd also like to add that MSI wanted to charge me 120 pounds for an out of warranty service that would have me without a laptop for at least a month or two. Ian has saved me money and a lot of trouble sending my laptop back and forth to MSI... I have included a picture of the culprit bios chip and your excellent soldering skills. Thank you Ian!!!

Amazing, the only person in wales that could fix my ps4 hdmi port. He replaced it with a better more sturdy port and done it within 24 hours how can you beat that service. I could not recommend these guys more! I had a very strange pc issue with a system I build, and other shops just turned it away. After an initial visit and having a hopeful fix, it didn't work unfortunately. However after contacting Adept again, they were quick to arrange a collection for my machine and get to work. I was given warning on any costs before purchase, and the whole process was seamless. I can't stress more the sheer pace these guys can work at, and the quality and expert knowledge that just allows you to trust them. Something lacking in this area. I now have a working system and at a fair price. Just want to say thank you to Adept for looking into such a strange issue, and the customer care you provided. If you need any technical help in the area then these are the guys to see! I'll surely not look elsewhere again

Amazing service from Ian. Dropped my iPhone 6s flat on the floor on Friday night. Called him early Saturday to see if he could do it that day which he said he could. Went round and waited literally 20 minutes and it was all back up and running again. Would recommend him to anybody.

They made the impossible possible, was told by many an advanced repair techs that it's best to by a new motherboard. I bought the BGA chip for the MSI gaming laptop from China, took it to Adept, they used the special technique required to give it every chance of success, (the old chip was shattered) did a great job on the soldering, so far so good, always a chance it could go again but it was a gamble that paid off so far. Don''t accept anything is beyond repair until Adept PC Repair say it is.
