The battery to a rather ancient Dell laptop was dead, but I had the good fortune to find Tech Master Solutions just by googling. They not only obtained a replacement battery in less than 2 days, but also replaced my charger at no extra cost. If I ever have any other problems with IT equipment, I now know where to go. I recently dropped half a pint of water on my MacBook Pro (an idiot I know). I took it to Apple who told me the logic board needed replacing and they might be able to save my data if I choose to send it for repair but no assurances. They quoted me £969 for the repair. I was recommended Tech Master Solutions by a friend so emailed for a quote. They took the model and serial numbers, found the exact parts I needed (so no surprises if I took it in and it needed something else) and quoted me £350. I also enquired about a new battery as Apple had told me I would need one (£200) many months before. Tech Master quoted separately £150 for this. I took it in, the techs looked over it and gave me a call to say they were certain they could save my data and that the logic board would cost £300 and they would let me know if the battery actually did need replacing once this was complete. They kept in constant contact, providing regular updates on the repair of my laptop, gave thorough explanation of what they would need to do to fix it and generally provided brilliant customer service. Its incredibly nerve racking handing over a laptop with practically my whole life on it and trusting a complete stranger with a lot of sensitive data. After speaking to them I felt completely safe leaving my laptop with them and, when I asked about the battery (being fairly certain I'd also have to pay for this) they explained the battery was running completely normally and that, although it might eventually need changing, it was fine for now. They easily could have had another £150 from me and with everything else going up in price I really really appreciated their honesty (saving me £150). Overall, incredibly impressed with the services provided and will definitely be back for anything else. Thank you so much!!! No more drinks near my Mac and an external hard drive ordered!!

Although their engineer misdiagnosed the fault with my custom built PC, the issue turned out to be more complicated (a failing CPU and not a PSU issue). The service i received from Kalin and Mohamed was very good and they refunded me according to their "no fix no fee" policy when I provided evidence by email. They even called me when their refund didn't go through to come and pick it up at the shop, that says to me that they go the extra mile with their customer service. As my local tech repair shop I would not hesitate to use them again (but maybe more for laptops and phones which I know much less about) and I would still recommend them, based on the very good customer service I have received.

Took my 2015 iMac in because it was running extremely slowly and I was constantly getting the spinning beachball. It would take up to 10 minutes to start up and minutes to open simple programmes. I wasn't in a position to buy a new computer and Tech Master advised me to upgrade the HDD to an SDD. Dropped it in on Tuesday morning and it was ready first thing on Thursday morning. Can't believe what a difference it has made! It runs so much faster now and it's like having a completely new iMac. I was worried about losing my data/photos/music but the machine was reinstalled exactly as I'd left it. Very happy customer - thank you! I will definitely use you again.

Best computer repair shop in Cardiff! Have been there multiple times over the past few years. Kalin at the front desk was super friendly, professional and informative. My mac book air had liquid damage (coffee spillage) and would not charge. We're an audio visual installation business operating locally, who also repair audio visual equipment. Last week, I had a whole list of problems with my Mac Book Pro and Mac desktop computer ranging from running very slowly with the constant appearance of the rainbow wheel, to programs and email accounts not responding at all. I feared I would have to spend out loads of money on x2 brand new machines. Following x2 new hard drives and some further tweaking, Tech Master sorted out my problems overnight and now, both the Mac and Mac Book are working even more efficiently and faster than it had ever done before!! I dropped a tablet that wouldn't charge and a laptop that had a black screen after logging in, into them last week. A few days later, they had sorted my tablet so it could charge again. They informed me that it could well do with a new charging port, but with a pair of tweezers, they did their magic and it's charging again. They advised that the laptop could be repaired/upgraded, but due to it's age (about 8/9 years old) advised me against it as it wouldn't be cost effective. The also offered me a good deal on a new laptop without any pressure selling, which we are still thinking about purchasing. By the way, they didn't charge for the tablet repair. Took in my broken gaming laptop. It's a pretty uncommon Aorus and parts are hard to find. In less than 1 week the guys here sourced a new webcam and microphone, fixing issues with the screen that had been caused by the 'official' repair partner a couple of years ago. A little while ago, I had an issue with my Iphone 8 in that I could no longer charge it. I took it in and left it with them for a few hours and popped back expecting a repair would be required. The person in the shop explained that pocket fluff had blocked the connection and it is pretty common issue. No charge just cleaned the fluff for me! Refreshing and honest behaviour. My screen has now cracked, and there is only one place I will be going.

Got my Macbook Pro display replaced! Great service and best price given out of a few shops I asked. The only issue is the screen turned out to be a lot brighter than the normal macbook pro screen display. I've really sensitive eyes so would always prefer to go with dimmer light on screen and now even the dimmest setting looks really bright! But I wouldn't blame the shop on that since it should be the manufacture factory's default setting on the hardware itself. Anything beside that is great! Highly recommended! New Update: Turned out my previous screen wasn't perfect as there's some issue with the camera as well! I returned it to the shop and they offered me to replace the screen! Took them another few working days to get a replacement and now I've got my perfectly working screen! Really great service from the staffs and definitely recommend anyone who's looking for great service with cheap price!

I had my phone stopped charging. the expectation after checking could be a replacement of the charging port on the phone. Left the phone overnight as was given the evening before. next day I was given my phone back functioning and charging as normal. Cost.. FREE of charge,, as all what needed was cleaning the port only. My 7 year old Mac came up with a error folder which I could not fix I took it into st davids Apple Store. Was told HD broken unlikely they would be able to fix as was going into vintage quoted eye watering cost to try but no guarantee that didn't include recovering my data. When I mentioned it would be cheaper to buy a Mac mini and transfer data with a thunderbolt lead the Genius Bar guy dismissed this and started laying on pressure that my machine could be vintage tomorrow or next week then willl never be repaired as parts were impossible to obtain so I should send it off there and then. Unfortunately I don't have a money tree with unlimited funds! Turned to Facebook where a friend recommended TechMasters. TechMasters quoted me less than half of what Apple quoted they replaced my hadddrive, doubled the memory and recovered everything. My Mac is back up and running thank you TechMasters

As an Editor it it was a complete disaster that my external hard drive randomly wiped itself one day! I had a lot of ongoing work and entered Tech Master in a panic with not much optimism. My hard drive was deemed unfixable with little hope of recovering data. but.. LOW AND BEHOLD, the wonderful and extremely skilled staff at Tech Master saved the day. I had a 100% recovery of all my work on a hard drive that appeared to be a lost cause. could not recommend Tech Master enough.
