Your experience here will depend on if you get a knowledgeable staff member, as not everyone is trained to the same standards or technologically minded when they start here. Not pushy staff which is a bonus but some will try to hit targets regardless and appear rude. In my opinion this place has gone down hill, due to management not caring about their staff and most of the good staff leaving because of poor leadership. Your better off at Kingsway branch where they are much friendlier and have more items in stock. It's a well laid out shop, unfortunately they don't have stock of all items and are usually unable to sell you the item thats on display. The staff were really helpful and polite.

The sales team here aren't pushy and they are extremely helpful. I have been in several times to look at the stock they have in store and ask questions about the items I was interested in. Each time I've spoken to a member of staff they have been more than happy to answer my queries and were not pushy for me to make a purchase. My mother and I finally made our decisions and we purchased several items each. The salesman, James, was fantastic, he was knowledgeable about the products we ordered, was professional but friendly and chatty. I looked online before going in to look at the products I was interested in. I think they have a good range in store. I was pleased that I could see most of my products and get a good feel for them before making a final decision.

Nipped in tonight to buy a USB-C adaptor for my old headphones. Given the fact all my current tech lacks a headphone jack I decided to look at wireless earbuds. Never been too sure about the idea but the level of knowledge from Michael was great. I work with noisy tools and even my in ear Seinnheiser wired headphones struggle to cancel outside noise. After looking at several options Michael managed to find me a set of Sony headphones with noise cancelling technology. Must say I was still a little sceptical but given he never tried to push the sale I'm blown away with my purchase. Actually kicking myself for not taking the plunge sooner! Best part is I wasn't pushed towards the most expensive option...infact he even found what were originally £260 pods for £130. Sadly can't give more than 5 stars but I hope leaving this review adds to how impressed I am. Thanks Michael I'll be back after the level of service I received. Something no online shop will ever be able to match!

It's an OK place. We went in to look at / buy a new ipad. Got through the door. Man asked how he could help. Said we were interested in ipads. Pointed us to the right area saying there was an appointment thing in place (due to covid???) and we looked at the ipads. As with all of their stores there's a large selection of electrical items. The downside seems to be a lack of sales people on shop floor. I wanted to buy a sound bar but as the only salesman around wad with a customer I had to wait a long time. In the end I just chose one myself as I didn't want to wait any longer. Wished I had though. My old Sony TV got broken in transit in a house move and I was gutted 😫 Bilal the sales assistant was absolutely amazing talking me through all the technical terms on TVs and explaining what they mean. Bilal's knowledge is superb and he definitely knows his stuff! Bought my new Sony 55 ish TV today and I am a very happy customer. Well done PC world! Bilal needs a bonus! Fantastic customer service! 👏

It was OK, but as a buying experience it was a non starter - difficult to view and study the items on offer. Simply not enough room between the isles and with other shoppers and sales assistants it was a challenge. In the end the limited choice of microwave ovens made us keen to leave without buying. Bought on line! Much easier with more options.

This is one big store where you can find all kind of technology from phones and tablets to car and home audio systems lots of choices for TVs and lots lots more . Staff is really nice always helping you , prices are good. I liked that for black Friday they do really big promotions ! Also they got warranty for all the techniques that you bought! Highly recommend if you looking for new phone or tablet or any kind of technology !

We went in recently browsing for laptops and the assistant that helped us was really knowledgeable. They took the time to ask what we would be using the laptop for, and asked about any additional software we would need to upload and what kind of files we would store on the laptop to identify how much storage we would need. It was nice to talk to someone that was looking to advise up about a machine that best fit our needs rather than someone that was just trying to sell us the most expensive bit of kit.

Went in while in the area to look at fridges and to have a generally nosy around at pricing. I found the pricing to be quite expensive on certain items. One guy looked completely puzzled over at the laptops and while walking past him he asked me for help thinking I worked there. He told me he was waiting for a staff member that had gone to ask a other member of staff a question because he didn't know, this guy had been waiting a while for the staff member to come back. I advised him on the differences between laptop models and I left him happy. I don't know if he purchased a laptop from there but you are welcome PC World.

I've visited twice recently, first to pickup something I bought online which was frictionless and very easy. Second to look at hobs and ovens, as I wanted to try out the interface (a very important decision!) But none of the hobs or ovens were powered, meaning I couldn't experience how they would work. This makes the idea of having them on show completely pointless.

The only place to see a person re my ID mobile account but he couldn't add my ID account to my phone or my emails. ID no phone access. This was an upgrade after 2 years and I feel let done. I still have no ID account or emails.

Was served by a really helpful gentleman who showed me all of the available printers. Explained it would cost me alot more to buyand maintain a laser printer. So because of all of his help I ended up buying a more efficient ecoprinter which costs £40 for ink refill instead of £200 laser refills. Really good customer service from shoo floor to till.

Great customer serivce very friendly and cant fault it but lacking on the stock level aspect paid and ordered a laptop got told will be a few days to a week on delivery to store a week later and still hasnt arrived yet paying for a product i dont even have. If i had ordered online i would have got a house delivery for the next why is it when you order through the store it takes forever 🤔 and also when you ring the collection department they never pick up either.

It's ok I guess but I just wish the staff would leave customers alone to look around if we the customer need any help we will ask for it I mean it's not like there isnt enough of you lol I get it that during training it's drilled into you to chase up customers and try and make a sale but in the real world the customer just wants to be allowed to walk in a shop and just be left alone to browse and if and when we need help then we will ask you for it you know like the good old days of shopping I know it's not the staffs fault they have to be seen to be actively seeking a sale by management which is a shame really I have bin using this company for longer than I can remember but for the last few years I buy online simply because I hate the shop experience even though it's better to physically see and touch stuff before you buy aaah well nevermind

Needed some help with my wifi dongle, 1st guy an Asian guy with bald head very patronising and I'm not being racist saying asian but just describing him . Talking down to myself and my mother when I was trying to ask a question and kept interrupting me before I could finish what I was asking about in the end got to the question solved and was then delt then with by a lad called Nathan, who was super helpfull and polite . Services pretty decent very good at corporation as well brought a laptop from there few months ago still in good nick but unfortunately the anti-virus and of going out of date which year was temporarily saying I paid a little bit extra for that which I was quite disappointed with because the code was meant to be existence and it's meant to ask them for a year but it only lasted up to 30 days so I was really disappointed in that situation there with the deal apart from all that I believe the prices may need to drop down just a little because it's quite overly expensive
