Great place to get all your essentials. Every now and then I will stumble across a great bargain too. The selection of guitars varies and some of the pricing on certain stuff is sometimes a little expensive, but because it's an independent music retailer I am prepared to pay a little extra if I have to. One thing I cannot recommend any better is their own guitar leads. I've never had a better quality cable and such a great guarantee too. If I ever have a problem with my equipment I've always brought it here and had it either fixed or replaced. Would be great to see a proper format coming together so they can really storm their online presence.

One of the best and well stocked music shops in South Yorkshire for the Pro and amateur alike. Staff are super friendly and very experienced. These people won't rip you off and you'll leave with the best product for you and not the manufacturer they get the biggest profit margin from unlike some music shops. Have been buying my music gear from here for the last 15 years and they've never let me down.

Very friendly and helpful. They know their stuff but don't look down on those like me who know next to nothing. A very big range of instruments, guitars especially - ukuleles good prices. Well worth visiting.

A gem in Doncaster. I only visited to buy some new strings and ended up browsing for well over half an hour at the guitars for sale. What I saw was reasonably priced and available for all range of skills from beginners to professional. They stocked new and used goods. Guitars both electric and acoustic, basses and drums.

It's a small store but they have a good variety of guitars and other musical instruments. I quite like their range of used guitars. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I have visited this store several times to buy pedals, amp cable and the like. They also have a luthier on site who is extremely busy as seems to be the norm with luthiers in England. Don't count on getting your guitar back quickly if you give it for set up. I have tried the drums lessons here as well, once. The teacher was too busy to provide ongoing lessons. There are other lessons available here as well with other teachers though you may struggle to find a time slot.

An excellent shop selling interesting things at reasonable prices. Traded in a guitar for a new one, gave me an excellent trade in price (better than I deserved) leaving me enough money to pay for the journey home. All their staff are lovely to deal with, but a special thanks to Pete for all his help.

First Class Service. I hadn't been to Electro Music for some time but, remembering how well they looked after me on my last visit, it was the first place I thought of when I recently needed to upgrade. Absolutely first class service. It's great to be able to discuss your requirements with people who really know what they are talking about and who are so friendly and keen to help you arrive at the right decision. Good prices too. So, well done Electro, in these days when people are all too ready to criticise, it's great to be able to pass on a heartfelt compliment. Five stars aren't enough!

Motiv-8 Video & Disco has been shopping here since 1989. Although 3½ hours away from my home, the service has always been more than excellent. The staff are both friendly and user knowledgeable. (many of whom are working dj's or musicans.) I have shopped elsewhere for offers, but always return to Electro Music finding they will price match, and on occasions they have provided better pricing. As an independent store, the personal level is unbeatable. Just this weekend a courier messed-up, and Electro Music personally drove my order up the A1 to me in their own car!! And the order was a Bass Bin. How is that for service. :)
