I love my sofa bed! I am really pleased with it. The salesman at Edinburgh was really helpful, friendly and informative. It's beautiful and comfortable, so comfy I keep falling asleep on it. It feels gorgeous in mustard velvet. DFS have a great range of colours available and it's clearly a strong robust product. It is pricey but it is quality. I had to wait 3 months for delivery approx. But it was worth it. Guys came in, put the legs on and were gone. Overall I am really happy.

Received my new couch a few days ago and I cannot recommend DFS highly enough. Everything went smoothly, George has been friendly and professional and helped us in the choice and the couch was ready 2 weeks earlier of the estimate date. Great company!

I recently purchased The Edinburgh sofa from DFS. I was first consulted by Carmen at the newcraighall store and she was so lovely. Very informative and helpful. Once I decided on my sofa and whenever I had any enquiries the call team were also always very helpful. The reason I’m writing this review though (which I wouldn’t normally do for large companies) is down to the service I received when the worst happened - my sofa couldn’t fit through my door to my living room due to a tight alcove. They had to take my sofa back and I immediately went straight back to the store to ask for help. I couldn’t have met with a better person - Roy! He was so incredibly helpful and reassured me everything would be ok. He thought of taking the arms off and re delivering. If that didn’t work, he said we’d find something else for me and give me a loner sofa (I had already sold my other one on the day of delivery). Then the men who re delivered my sofa the following day were also very helpful. It almost looked like we still wouldn’t be able to fit it through the door, but they patiently tried different ways until they managed, staying positive throughout the process, which was again really reassuring. I love my new sofa! It’s so comfortable and beautiful. Thank you to the entire team that helped - it was hugely appreciated!!

Big selection of sofas etc. Were very laid back about kids being on furniture (a good then when trying to browse with them in tow) and sales people had just the right level of attentiveness; not chasing you about just breezing past so you have the chance to engage with them and were ready with a tablet to dig into more info if required. Toilets and drinks available too.

Pretty standard sofa show room, personally think they would be better as a brand if they separated out their ranges into more rooms / areas / styles. It would be far better as in its current layout it's very difficult to actually focus on any particular sofa while walking round, and over whelming tbh. No time to really fall in love with any design.

Had a good experience shopping here for sofas. Was a bit nervous because of all the new restrictions, but the staff were very helpful and made me feel at ease. Cameron served me, and helped me with all my many questions. He was very knowledgeable about all the products and never put me under any pressure to buy. Great store, sanitiser at door and salesman (George) he explained about keeping socially distanced from other shoppers etc. Made to feel very welcome. We (husband and I) wandered round the store looking for styles we liked, what I was impressed with was staff left you to look without interrupting every 2 mins( like other places ) We were approached by George after a while in store and by then we were ready to take his advice on what we were looking for, Glady taking his expertise. He showed us power recliner Smart Sofa's, as my hubby is very tech orientated, he was sold within 5 minutes lol George was fantastic to deal with, there was no pressure at all to purchase there and then, I like to believe I'm the sensible spouse and wanted to go home think about it and make a decision the next morning. There was no problems in doing this by George. Because I love good customer service in any shop, this one was by far the best we had dealt with for a long time, making our minds about these 2 sofas was very easy in the end. Can't wait for them to arrive. Thank you George, we will be back.

A good experience in general. I recommend a visit if you're looking for a good balance between price and quality. After visiting many showrooms in and out of Edinburgh, i came back here and i bought a sofa and armchairs. There's free interests finance now on. Good job guys.

So far I have had a great experience with DFS. My wife and I arrived 3 minutes before the store closed but the sales rep said no problem and showed us around the whole store without rushing us. He was very helpful and we picked out a beautiful French Connection sofa. It arrive in under 2 weeks and is absolutely beautiful. We had a slight issue with the glides not sticking to the bottom of the legs but they refunded us the cost with no question asked. Great products and service!

This store sells nice and cozy sofas and impressively designed dining sets. Their sofas are mostly built by order so you need to set a waiting timeline for the item to arrive. And if you are not gifted with measurements have them come to measure because once delivered you can not exchange it for another size or design.

This is my 2nd sofa from DFS Edinburgh. First one lasted us over 10 years and was still in excellent condition but we fancied a change. Sofa ordered with a 9 week delivery time. To our surprise it arrived after 3 weeks. Love it, feels really good quality and the customer service has been great throughout. Sure we will be back in another 10 years time for our next sofa!! Only down side is the delivery cost. Not very great having to pay £55 for delivery :(

If there was better quality control it would not have been an issue. Disappointed with overall service, will add maybe my expectations were to high.was a "fair" service for an expensive price. I don't want "Stain Guard" for £200!!! Hard sale but good sofa for a good price (without stain Guard) I chose to save the money and buy a cloth for 50p and don't get me started on the hard sale of the "Special Feet" that Don't mark your flooring! The sales team are clearly on commission for pushing the extras. Let the sofas sell themselves and don't try to sneak in extras please.
