My computer was going very slow intermittently. Although he was quite busy, he sorted it out for me quickly and now it is as good as new. He came over as a very skilled and honest guy and I have recommended him to my daughter who has a similar problem with her laptop. David Cooper, Hinckley.

Painless and quick service. My PC was on the fritz but this guy fixed it within a couple of days and charged a great price. Couldn’t recommend more. Excellent.

I took my PC in as it was constantly overheating well over 80c and would soon reach 90/100. I must admit i was a bit apprehensive at first as they dont have an a-typical building that you would expect for a computer repair business. I am however extremely surprised, he was exceptionally knowledgeable and understood my needs. They have since replaced the part with a better quality one and given it a damn good clean. It works like a dream now running so cool. But to make things better, the cost was very reasonable for the work carried out. I will happy recommend this guy to family and friends. Exceptional work!

My desktop PC recently started to fail. It would freeze on startup or freeze just a few minutes into usage, often followed by the blue screen of death. I went into panic mode as the computer holds vital documents, scanned files, family photos, music and much much more. Unfortunately I didn't have anything backed up (I will do from now onwards). I contacted Mike from Barwell Computer Repairs, described the issue the best I could (I'm not very tech savvy) and sent a couple of pictures of what I could see happening on the screen. Mike came round within 2 days and diagnosed the issue and explained this to me and showed me the problem. My hard drive was failing rapidly causing issues with startup, freezes and not being able to access any of my files or folders. Mike arranged for a new hard drive to be delivered and took my PC away a couple of days later. He was able to retrieve 99% of my data, he was able to clone the hard drive on to a new solid state hard drive and after a good few hours and a couple of technical issues along the way he got my PC up and running again. Not only that but the performance has greatly improved! I only had to login using my windows account, setup my emails, reinstall a couple of programmes and voila. A perfect running PC. I cannot thank Mike enough for his expertise, patience, friendly customer service and being able to talk to me about what was happening without using jargon and bamboozling me with technical stuff. He was incredibly good on price and kept to his original quote regardless of any issues he had along the way. A real gentleman, a real family man and a person who is keen to support his neighbourhood and helps to support those in need, often with no profit. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and my elderly parents. You have put their mind at rest and also provided me with some good advice - backup your computer! I highly recommend Barwell Computer Repairs to everyone needing support with their device whether it be a home user, business, school, charity - anyone. Mike will do his best to help at incredibly good prices.
