Having been in Leicester for some time now, I came across The PC Expert Leicester, and met a lovely man named Ali. I had issues with my laptop performance and he advised me to buy a Samsong 870 EVO 1TB SSD online, because I could get it for cheaper but went for the 2TB SSD version instead because, I can of course. Once the SSD arrived, he booked me the next day and without hesitation, I came to his store to have my new SSD installed. The entire process was super smooth, even though the process took a while, and the performance overall on my laptop has improved dramatically. Ali was very patient with me from the beginning to the end, and he is a person who knows exactly what he's doing and truly an expert in the field of technology. He also gave me helpful tips to help keep track of my performance to make sure my laptop performs as it should. Honesty is one of the most important things you look after when you look for a place to bring your pc to repair. You know rather little about technology and fear that greedy technicians would rip you off taking advantage of your ignorance. For that reason, I did a quick research on PC repair stores in Leicester and discovered this small business, which was the top rated. I was delighted to find that honesty, as well as reassurance on all my concerns, at The PC Expert. Excellent customer service and a very quick turnaround on the job. Came in to replace my hard drive, walked away with what feels like a brand new laptop. Internal hardware cleaned and some replaced at no additional cost to the one quoted. On top of that, useful software and programs were installed onto the laptop and were explained as to why they had been added. Advice was also given on how to maintain the laptop in the future. They went above and beyond at The PC Expert and I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially for students in the Clarendon Park area (or further).

Very helpful, trustworthy, honest and faultless service: I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending ‘THE PC EXPERT’. They are professional, courteous, truthful, reliable and trustworthy. They are skilled in what they are doing. I recently had a new machine diagnosed and rebuild from them. I had few hours spare so I waited whilst they rebuilt my machine from scratch in front of me. During the 2-3 hours I spent in their shop, I witnessed many content clients coming and going. One lady bought them a gift because she said she was ‘very happy’ with the service they had provided her. She just could not praise them enough. Many people came to ‘THE PC EXPERT’ with differing issues and problems; the estimates they gave them were very reasonable indeed. I know this because I have a very decent IT background and I am aware of the competition in this sector. I also noticed they turned down business where they thought the customer could easily fix the problem themselves. One customer was advised while I was there that ‘how she could fix the problem herself’. They could have easily accepted her laptop for repair and charged her for it. But instead they gave her free honest advice at their own expense. In terms of the knowledge and skills, ‘THE PC EXPERT’ really is impeccable in my opinion. As I mentioned above, I have a very robust IT background but yet ‘THE PC EXPERT ‘amazes me at the level of know-how they have in all areas of I.T. I have previously used them on many occasion for building my website, Data recovery, Laptop/PC Upgrades and for all kind of PC/Laptop/Network issues. I have always recommended them to all my family members, friends and neighbors. Sorted out an issue with my PC. Advised a new drive from Amazon as it was a better price than he could do, installed it and solved loads of Windows 10 issues. Telephone support afterwards when I messed it up again a day later. Working brilliantly now.

Absolutely incredible service! Took my laptop in on Thursday completely dead, and quite badly damaged and I had it back, completely fixed and working good as new by Saturday. Syed is the best example of great customer service. He is super honest, always giving you many options and only carries the work out once he has your permission, instead of tricking you into buying things you don't need like some other companies do. He keeps great records of the work carried out, even taking 'before and after' videos which he then showed me. He also showed me a bunch of ways to keep my laptop in good health after the fix, and went through every function to ensure it was working perfectly, even throwing in little extras like cleaning the screen! The whole thing was also incredibly cheap given how much was done, and his student discount is great! PC Expert always have my business now and I would recommend them to anyone, it's rare to see such incredible service these days, but this place is an example of one of them.

The repair itself is incredibly fast, same-day fix and I received both a text and a phone call to let me know that my laptop was ready for me. My PC died on me leaving me no access to important documents. I popped into PC Expert and was told what options were available, and how much each option would costs. He was very clear and I was convinced he knew what he was talking about. I booked my PC in for repair on Friday 31 August, he said it would be ready for collection on Saturday, but I couldn't pick it up until Monday. My PC was ready and fully repaired, cleaned inside and fully setup and optimised with all the correct drivers etc. An excellent, professional and quick service, I highly recommend PC Expert- he is!!

Amazing service especially for students! My laptop crashed and PC world told me it would cost £360 just for them to attempt to recover my data, and that my laptop was done for. Here Syed personally explained everything about my laptop to me, why it had crashed, how he would fix it and even sorted me out with a reasonable price as a student. I had a problem with my PC whereby it would shut down itself after only a few minutes use and thereafter continue to make a beeping noise. Syeed was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Visited The PC Expert shop on Friday 3rd august, to see whether or not they could do a custom PC build for me, as I needed these PC's a.s.a.p Had a conversation with the owner who knew what he was talking about and asked me to show him the components and cases, Oh I forgot to mention I asked him to do two custom builds for me which was around about 2:30pm ish. Dropped off the cases and components reluctantly, as id just spent a grand on components About 3 hours later thought I’d pop in and see how things were going or well basically to get a time of completion from the owner as other business had stated that they needed 2-3 working days to finish which was a joke. Low and behold to my amazement there where two finished PC's just sitting there on his counter completely finished ready to use. All I can say is what a fantastic and dedicated person and many many thanks once again for the completely super fast service from The PC Expert. Would unquestionably recommend to anyone and everyone! I perform calibrations of displays (TVs, projectors and computer monitors) on a daily basis. I had noticed however that my PC was slowing down, and, as they say, time is money! I thought that the solution would be to replace the HDD in my laptop with a SSD. PC Expert gave me excellent advice on which SSD to purchase and gave me a very fair price for the cloning of my existing HDD and installation of the SSD. They did a great job! 70+ positive reviews by this point really says something special. And let me start off by saying 'The PC Expert' is an understatement, try 'The PC and Mac Expert'. I am a seasoned computer user, so I'm usually the 'tech guy' whenever my friends computers start playing up. However I have an iMac as well as a PC, and that requires a little more specialist knowledge to deal with if you haven't dealt with them before. I'm sure some of you reading this would have heard of Apple's extortionate pricing for repairs, even some who have paid the £20 to just have their machine looked at, told to buy a new one, but ended up going to independent computer repair experts who actually end up fixing their machine. This is the sort of miracle worker that The PC Expert (Syed Ali) is. From the moment I rang him he was friendly and you wouldn't have trouble explaining your problem to him. When I took my machine in he clearly let me know what options I have, so I never felt pressured to have anything done which you don't feel is right for you. He will made sure I understood what's going on so you I had a definite peace of mind. The PC Expert quoted me for a job after some diagnostic work to see how much needs to be done. However the actual job itself took a lot more work than he estimated for which he could have charged me more for, but he stuck with the original quote which was very decent of him. The repair job required would have cost a fortune and cowboy computer repairers could have easily ripped you off for this job. He was however completely transparent about everything so you knew absolutely you could trust him with the job, and he managed to save my precious data. If he knows there are aspects you can easily handle yourself he will tell you what you can do yourself and give you the option to do so if you so wish, bonus points for education and saving on labour costs! To my knowledge there are very few qualified computer repair folk around here who can handle Apple tech properly. If you have any PC or Mac woes which you can't handle yourself I would recommend The PC Expert to anyone. You know you will leave getting an absolutely fantastic job done that is value for money. In a nutshell brilliant service, fast job done, absolutely worth the money, professionally handled, peace of mind and overall a job well done! Will definitely return for anything I can't figure out myself!
