Went in yesterday to buy a phone for my son. The guy that dealt with me was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what my son was after . Cant mind his name but he had a beard..anyhow I asked questions regarding the ring doorbell again his knowledge of this item was great. Left with a phone and ring doorbell. Tried to buy display model of this printer as it was out of stock in Livingston and not available in other stores. Eventually was able to buy but no discount offered despite lack of packaging, documentation and surface scratches. Staff tried to resolve this issue and I was eventually given a "free" printer cable with my purchase

Very nice place, we found what we were looking for and the staff were really nice and helpful, only one difference I noticed to previously going there, no-one comes to speak to you now, you have to go find someone, so I wasted a little time waiting for someone to come see me but no-one did so I went looking. Still great quality equipment and staff.

Spacious quiet shop should you want to have a good look for any White goods for your kitchen along with a variety of other electrical goods for your home. Always good to see exactly what you are buying rather than going on line and finding that the item quite what you expected.

The prices feel a bit high. I was collecting an order made online which was hassle free, being honest I usually avoid currys because it usually takes an age for anything to get sorted all the while the staff try and desperately sell warranties and overpriced cables etc but on this occasion it was in and out in 5 minutes. No upsell, cross sell malarkey. Much better!

We went into this store to purchase another T.V. to replace one Currys had written off within the terms of their extended warranty due to a problem in securing spares for the original. We were attended to by a Mr. John Wright who is a pleasant, knowledgeable man. Within fifteen minutes the transaction was completed, the new T.V. was loaded into my car and off we went. Limited variety of items and reduced additionally presently probably due to the word situation. Wearhouse members helpful.. when you manage to find someone as often "hiding" behind counters or chatting with colleagues rather then helping customers. Place offering extended guarantees and reduced prices for discontinued or ex-display items.

Lauren as usual was absolutely brilliant Friendly, helpful and repaired my laptop in no time whatsoever Never ever had an issue with any member of staff in Curry's Livingston and we have purchased quite a few appliances from there over the last few months. I wish other shops adopted the same or similar attitudes towards customers like they do.

I've found that the problem with Currys is finding a member of staff to help with queries about items, delivery and prices. I was there today and saw eight members of staff in the store, five of whom were talking to colleagues and not paying any attention to people waiting in queues. This complacency does the Currys brand no favours at all. On the contrary, it encourages potential buyers to go to more business-like stores or to buy online.

I really don't get some of the negaative reviews about the staff here. The last thing I want is to be swamped by sales assistants the minute I get through the door? I've purchased numerous items here and never had any problems with the staff, any interactions have been fine with them. Currys is competitive in pricing and most of the top brands are available and in stocks, overall I think this is a good store my only negative is that it doesn't open until 10.am

The shop is clean organised but my grip is staff.. dont get me wrong there is loads of staff doing nothing but talking to one another. We went into buy a Dyson hoover, phone and to get info on computers. We asked a girl upstairs to help, she abruptly said I'm dealing with someone, join the queue. Downstairs there was loads of stuff doing nothing. My husband checked on line found same items in another store saved £100 on the hoover alone. Curry's you missed out on sales.

Well it's a typical Curry's store, so good variety of products/tech , competitive prices (unless your lucky enough to catch it mid-sale) but its absolutely down to your own personal luck wether you get a decent staff member to deal with & my experience of this has varied ENORMOUSLY, everything from absolutely 1st class to devastatingly disinterested service (although personally I find that the good still greatly out way the poor quality store assistants). On my most recent visit (Livingston store) the young lad assisting was pleasant enough although not the most knowledgeable (perhaps he only recently started) however the girl at the till was particularly unfriendly, unwelcoming & downright disinterested, which is why I only rated 3 out of 5 stars, on this occasion.

Dated selection of laptops and camera's and gaming and desktop pc's poorly specced. Mirrorless Sony camera's displayed without lenses or mount covers so sensor constantly exposed to dust and dirt, so avoid any ex display or demo models on sale or factor a professional sensor clean in to the total cost.

Staff are very friendly and helpful when asked questions. They have a range of technological devices with like of mobile phones to tablets and music devices. They offer a click and collect service and inspire they have social distancing measures in place and dividers for customers. They offer deliver on household items ranging from tvs music systems and hoovers.

I recently visited this shop as I needed help returning an online item. I wanted to return this item via Currys website but the process was incredibly frustrating and the item kept coming back to my address via Dpd. Once I explained my situation to the young female sales assistant, I realised that it was DPD who was to blame for the mishaps. She then offered to return it via the shop using DPD but the process did not generate the correct Barcode on my package She then asked no more questions, started a process on the till and returned my money right there and then. Very very impressed with this customer service as it was not Curry’s at fault ! Thank you!!

Well presented, quite typical store for the brand. A plus, this place is not overcrowded as other stores so you can always enjoy browsing products quietly and with some time to spare. One big difference with the one at Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh is the lack of a dedicated gaming area but they still have some gaming gear

I recently bought a laptop from here and the service from the sales colleague was amazing. It took a while for me to get the attention from the sales staff as they where so busy and looked like they did not have enough staff to cope with the amount of customers in the store,. The sales member, Chris, said that he had just finished a course in something to do with computers and was brilliant. he switched me up from a normal windows laptop to an apple laptop after asking me lots of questions , and made sure that I had bought everything I needed to go with the laptop. He made me feel relaxed and although I originally went in to spend up to about £500, I eventually spent nearly £1300. I could not believe how good the service was. They are even able to set up the laptop, install all of the software I had purchased, and because I didn't know that much about the Apple machines, they where even able to do a demonstration on the basics of the machine. I was very very impressed and will be going back.

It’s a no bad shop it loses stars for me for their in shop stock without fail when I go they don’t have what I want there and have to go to another store or wait for it to be delivered. I prefer the idea of going in finding what I want and leaving with it. If I wanted to wait I would just order online. That being said the staff are helpful which is where they earn my stars.

Pretty slow service at the checkout with people faffing around with collection orders. They need to change their system so pickup orders are a seperate desk or they have dedicated checkouts open for in store purchases. The staff have to cross half of the shop for each collection order to get it from the back. This is an obvious bottleneck that could be easily addressed by any semi competent manager.

Curry's customer service needs worked on staff would rather chat amongst themselves then help a customer I asked for someone to assist with purchasing electrical goods and twice I was told someone would be with me soon. I stood watching three members of staff chat away and when they seen me waiting carried on chatting. I walked out and bought my goods on line from another supplier. When they turn around and say they are struggling to stay open I will know why. Customer service is non existing in this store.

Visited the know how staff in store as my printer was faulty. I gave them my details, they advised me my plan allowed me to pick a replacement in store to take away. Having chosen a replacement, they advised me fully on how to change my models, to continue uninterrupted warranty. Gillian & Sarah both helped me further as I had hurt my leg and was feeling a little sore in store, offering me a seat and putting on a fan to cool me down while they completed the paperwork. When complete the arranged for my new printer to be taken out and placed in my car. I can not thank the staff enough for making this transaction so easy. I fully recommend this store and the know how extended warranty plan. Thank you Gillian, Sarah and my helper to the car.

While I ended up being satisfied with my experience here, it was not without lacklustre moments. I walked into the store and looked around, it was almost 20 minutes before someone approached me despite it not being busy and several staff members (no less than 5) sitting around while glancing over at me. I almost walked out. Laura came up to me and was very warm and welcoming. The sales associate Cameron was also very good, he had been helping a customer in another department. While he was retrieving my purchase I saw Laura doing the lions share of the work on the floor from answering the phone to approaching customers while others sat around talking to each other.

It does take a while for anyone to attend to you. However, having said that I had a very helpful assistant (Stuart) on 11 Feb when I was enquiring about Gas Cookers. Not a lot on show but Stuart checked Online and gave me the information I was looking for. If Stuart hadn't helped me I think I would have left the shop and gone elsewhere. I am going to Fort Kinnaird to actually see the cooker I want and if I decide to buy I will go back to Stuart.
