They were really nice and gave us a deal on a couple of our purchases. iPhoneMax13 was sold out when it first came out. It’s great to visit this location because you have so much to shop and eat at in the mall. The mall also includes an Express location for quick pickups. On a following visit the Genius Bar was booked up for several days. We ended up going to the Regent St. location.

Yes it’s popular, wanted to buy my daughter an iPhone 11, queue was huge. So went to John Lewis to get one and they’re out of stock. Online is 23 day delivery. The staff were helpful and it’s not their fault, but people were just browsing, I literally wanted to go in and out.

You could always book an appointment if you have issues with your phone ,you will receive a text message confirming your time so you don’t have to wait outside I am very happy with everyone had an issues with my phone Genius support team solved it for me Thanks .

I wanted to say a big thank you to Vlad and also to Liam. My experience with Apple was great, I was looking to get a new iPhone so made an appointment beforehand, Vlad informed me very well on the product also very kind salesman.
I came back to pick up my new iPhone from the express stop and then went to the Apple store again where Vlad kindly helped me get set me up and introduced me to Liam, who I basically had a one to one with regarding an iPad presentation he was doing, but he helped teach me some new tricks that I could apply to my new iPhone as well:)
Anyway, both great assets to Apple, credit to their profession thank you again. 😊

It was 2 weeks after the iPhone 11 series.
U you always see queues for the new iPhone .

Queue management is great, by the time you're in they know exactly what you want, and while they are still in sales trying to get you to spend more, it is not forceful but polite, the downstairs little store is for quick people who know what they want. Great service! I had to stop in to get my phone repaired while on vacation. I dropped it and it was non functional. The only problem was that I had to get on the plane the next day to go to my next destination, which didn't have an Apple store. They squeezed me in at the very last minute of the day. Great team and great service! They have a clever system of waiting for the specialist they just give you the approximate time and taking your number when specialist ready you will get a text 15 minutes before that so you don’t need to wait in the Q and continue shopping or what ever you would like to do in Westfield Shopping Centre. Even though it was busy day I got slot within 5 minutes to Genius Bar for my iPhone XR not turning. After all inspection and diagnosis I got replacement for new iPhone XR. Because the phone was under warranty. Many thanks for your kind and professionalism.

If you have an appointment you'll be sent round to speak to various people to get you checked in but once you've been triaged the actual service at the Genius Bar is very good. Took in an iPhone 6 with a swollen battery out of warranty and I was given a new one straightaway for the battery repair fee of £25. Very reasonable!
Apple customer service tends to be good (but you should expect and demand that at the premium they charge for their products).

My first experience going to this store wasn't the best because of the waiting I had after booking the appointment in 7 days in advance. I received a feedback survey which I mentioned the issue. I received a apologetic call from the team. The second time I went to the store it was a lot improved and tom was the team member who helped me out with a great customer care. Glad that apple is improving their experience according to the feedback from customers.

Just bought my new laptop from here, I've bought all my apple products through here for personal and business. Today I was served by Samuel who gave me absolute sound advice on which product to buy. Sometimes it can be a little tricky to get someone to help, but look at the customer to staff ratio and it's understandable. What was really great is I had an issue with my Apple ID which Samuel and his colleague really helped me out with!. I couldn't believe they helped with something non related to the product I was buying and I'd tried to do on a numerous amount of occasions with little luck. Hope Samuel gets this message as I was really happy with the customer service, thanks dude!!

Busy, messy and difficult at times. They may also fail to complete your repair or work within the time they advertise.
This is an example of where Apples open-plan design and discrete personnel work against them. IT can be difficult to find help with the exception of finding a queue of people lined up in front of someone holding an iPad randomly around the store. It feels unorganised and the long wait times to be seen removed that veneer of smooth, organic service which seems effortless.
Be prepared to wait around.

Well stocked, efficient sales staff, overcrowded like all Apple stores. Went in to buy a 1tb Macbook, which is not the default spec, but they had one. Done & dusted in 10 minutes. Great until something goes wrong, like with our last Macbook (recalled for dodgy battery) Then you have to make an appointment just to get someone to send it off to be repaired...

Came in on Monday to get my MacBook fixed and they said the waiting time will be 3 hours. Unfortunately not being able to wait that long I spoke to an assistant they said come around 10 in the morning. So I took a day of work to go in on Wednesday at 10am and the assistant then said the wait time will be 4 hours seeing as I had a flight to catch the next day this was totally unexeaptable and I was so wrongly informed. I then spoke to the manager who got me see straight away no quibble no fuss and got it sorted out before my flight. The manager was a very nice bloke happy to help and understanding of my situation.

Superb - faulty iPhone XS screen replaced within the hour under warranty. Not many manufacturers can offer this level of service. Just make sure you book an appointment first as they are very busy, especially on weekends.

Went to the store to pick up my purchase, it was immediately obvious that I would not be able to view any of the products in the store. The Express Pickup location is not in the main store. They are on two separate floors, if you want to browse the store you have to book another appointment.

I've bought a Mac mini from here a few years ago and recently an iPad Air.
Usually the store is very busy with people coming into play around with the various gadgets on show.
If you're a serious buyer getting attention isn't too difficult.
Both times I have managed to get a sales assistant quickly, and been out of the store with my purchase in a short space of time.
I haven't needed much information from the staff as I've read up online before deciding.
Both products are reliable, the Mac Mini is still doing a great job after four years. The iPad was easy to set up and a fantastic (and cheaper) replacement for a touch screen lap top PC that died.
Never had to use the after sales Genius services nor paid for the extended warranty etc, so can't comment on that.
Very happy with our purchases.
The store is fully accessible, with either escalators or lifts taking you up from the ground floor.

Always busy but it is a massive store so easily holds the cowds. Apple stores have a pretty universal layout it seems and while some may find this predicable it is certainly logical and easy to find what you came for

Plenty of phones and tablets by Apple, feel free to look around and try the devices. Nobody is pushing you to buy. Spend all the time you need, all the devices are connected to the WiFi and you can test whatever you like. If you have questions, the friendly and young staff members will answer. If he/she doesn't know, then will find the right person with answers. The only recommendation is to avoid this place on Saturdays and Sundays. Or book online a meeting on Apple's site and you skip the queue.

Technical issue couldn’t be fixed but he clarified with a colleague that his diagnosis was correct.

I have been to this store A LOT this year for many things, Apple Watch, Mac & iPhone the lot! So I have a pretty clear idea of what it's like! I love going there and the staff are amazing, they're helpful! I would give it 5 stars but I went in there with an issue of my iPhone which they fixed regardless which was a plus! But, the man keeping an eye on the meetings was not very nice or social. He was firm didn't sympathise with anything I was saying or even acknowledge me. That would be appreciated lol but overall really like it!

I had a startup issue with my MacBook pro, now five years old. I couldn’t get an appointment for a week online but somehow these guys at Apple in Westfield Mall fit me into their schedule. They were able to tell me precisely the problem after a few diagnostics and even fixed my laptop temporarily. I also managed to score an external hard drive for half-price. My laptop is now working without any cost for the actual repair. I am over the moon happy with the same-day service received. I had to wait around for 8 hours, which is a lot but the job got done. Thank you Tim and team.

Apple is a great product bit my experience was just about. The young chap who met me and my cousin was too busy showing of his Apple terms skills rather than what we were there for. We ended up going back home, search online for information and buy online. So in short it was a wasted journey. The purpose of visiting a shop is to buy and apple to sell. They failed. We bought a Windows laptop instead. It's a local store mgmt training issue.

It’s alright, it’s an apple store. Not as fancy as regent street or Covent Garden but they were able to see me at the bar. I felt the aesthetics while ok were nothing special. There was no photographic equipment or accessories available to tempt my future purchasing. Just rows and rows of iPhone X’s, 8’s, fancy new laptops and hundreds of bored white city kids playing with all the kit.

Very surprised by how good, friendly and even fun the service I got was yesterday at Westfield/White City Apple. I am terribly impatient but my expectation were well managed and I never got the "I'm about to blow up here' feeling. Waited about 10 min at the genius bar after being given an emergency appointment which worked very well. The advice I received made me rethink the whole issue I had, which would eventually save me lots of money. I was then passed onto a lovely girl on the shop floor who gave me invaluable tips re my iPad and advice on best product to buy eventually. We had a great time ! There was no pressure to buy, which is

Pretty poor at triaging staff, there seem to be ad-hoc lines all over the place, and no real entry point to any customer service. I took in my £1.5k MacBook for a booked repair, but after being received by customer service I have to admit it was very good and met expected Apple standards.

Frequently noisy and crowded, but this is a large store with pretty comprehensive stock. Staff are typically helpful, but the in-store WiFi that drives their point of sale terminals blows, so it's best not to try and buy something in a hurry, when you have a train to catch! Random purchasing delays can really drag on, compared to a normal shop with "real" tills.

Staff are generally very helpful, but make sure you know your rights and stick to them if you need a repair. Consumer law covers you for any faults within 6 years. I've had over £1000 work done on my macbook air outside of warrenty this way.

The store has all the products, but is definitely catering to a younger audience (lots of iPhones and iPads, but not a huge number of desktops or large laptops). The place is usually packed and the staff are always busy. With no central point for staff to work from (that I can see), such as a main desk, it's difficult to queue, especially when they tend to move around with a customer to show them different things. Staff are not always eager to help, sometimes offering directions to the online help pages instead of finding the answers themselves.

I was extremely excited to be here as Apple store is placed in a very nice shopping precint. I came here for a computer lession which I found extremely beneficial and enjoyable. I've just been reading some of the negative reviews posted recently, and after listening to a conversation beside me at the Genius bar I now know why some people complain. Basically some people assume that if they drop their phone and break the screen that Apple should be held responsible for their own stupidity. Seriously, if you're too stupid to take basic control of your goods then don't complain when things go wrong. If you don't back up your Mac don't moan when your emails can't be found and your selfies on your holiday to Magaluf have disappeared.
I had had lost of computers over the years, from HP to Lenovo and various servers for work and once you have unpacked the shiny new PC from its box you're basically on a downward slope to eventual inevitable failure. I had even spent a small fortune on a MESH server with a Kryptonite proof hard drive only for it to die after exactly two years. And who was there to help me sort it? Not MESH that's for sure, they basically washed their hands of me and said "try one of our affiliates"... and off I trotted, only to be told the Superman proof hard drive had corrupted and I'd have to buy a new one. When my Netgear router died and wouldn't start after six months I called Netgear only to be told that they only offer three months support and that to carry on the conversation I would have to pay £35 for the privilege of talking to a man in India who was following online prompts.
My wifes Macs hard drive died last week and we booked a Genius bar appointment, unfortunately I thought it was at Brent Cross and at the appointed hour I was there, only to find out it was booked in at Westfield, DOH. Blatted to Westfield to be told my appointment had been cancelled.... but if I went to the chap in the corner with the ipad he would try to sort me a walk in appointment: which in any oither shop is code for "go and see that chap over there asI am too busy on my phone to tell you you don't have a hope in hell of getting an appointment today". So off I trotted and said man promptly booked me in for the next slot in around half an hour. IN half an hour I got a text telling me to stop shopping and return to the Genius bar and sign in, as I was in the never ending queue at Uniquelo (I think if I were to copy this name from the bloody bag I'd get it wrong) I was late and again they cancelled my appointment... Rushed there and another person with an ipad saw the pleading look in my eyes, chatted with a manager and promptly reinstated my appointment. IT was there at the Genius bar that I got to listen in on the conversation with the idiot who had dropped his iphone and was complaining about how Apple were responsible and if they cared about their customers then they would promptly refund him the price of his Iphone and compensate him for his precious time. Personally I would have leaned across the counter and smacked him squarely on the nose but the Genius was obviously a better person than me and very calmly explained the situation to the idiot and order was restored. After all this, Dan then came to sort me out, told me the hard drive was failing on the four year old Macbook and that they could replace it and it would be returned within 10 to 14 days. I explained that I have moved abroad and that could be difficult so he made a call and returned to tell me it would be ready that evening.
Having had lots of PC's, smart phones and routers over the years, with various problems I am speaking from experience when I say that I have yet to find a company that offers the level of post purchase customer care that Apple do. Apple are not perfect, but I honestly feel that they are about as close as can be to it though. I have yet to find a company that offers the level of service Apple do and that's why I stay with them because they still think of the customer, unlike a lot of companies that become too big to cope...

I went in a few weeks ago to purchase a macbook air.
I have my 4 year old and 2 year old with me who were starting to get a bit impatient.
Staff member at Apple her name was Imaan ... she took both my kids with her to the iPad section and kept them busy whilst i waited for my macbook.
She was absolutely lovely with my kids. I really hope Imaan gets some recognition.

I had a great experience with a gentleman called 'Khalif Khalif' he was very helpful right from the beginning and polite. I have never had to get my phone fixed or replaced before but it was done so efficiently. A gentleman also greeted me as i walked in and i waited less than 5 minutes to be seated from my appt time. Overall a great experience and Khalif was an amazing member of staff!!

So I didn't get my computer looked at and had to come back the next day to try again to find that they had no technician to fix it. So big waste of time. Nice big store, with most models on display. So if you want to check out a perspective purchase this is a great store to pop in to. The issue is that its in Westfield, so its busy almost all the time. I would suggest you do all your research at home and do not rely on the expertise of the staff on-hand as that can vary depending on who you get.

Yes, you can buy Apple kit, but the method of actually buying anything (track down a hipster, ask permission to give them money, hang around for ages whilst the thing you want is retrieved from the stock room, hang around a bit more whilst they fiddle with their special point-of-sale iPod Touches) is never anything but frustrating.

However, the staff at Apple White City (situated in the giant Westfield shopping mall) are often disappointing due to their lack of knowledge and experience, and you may not get to see a "Genius" for up to an hour after your appointment time.
