They have had glowing reviews on the Nextdoor website, where I saw them reccommended. Otherwise we’d have traipsed to the Apple Store to get the laptop fixed for a lot of money (or worse- been told it was not-fixable)
They did a brilliant job on my daughter’s laptop for a relatively charge. They fixed the fan and gave her great advice on how to avoid the problems in the future. She is over the moon. Cheers Computer Angels!
A. L.I only had a brief interaction with these guys but the service was great.
I had an odd issue with my top spec Dell laptop which I use daily for my job. Dell told me I'd need to send it in as they couldn't diagnose the issue over the phone. This would have taken 3 weeks and could have cost between £200-£800.
I was recommended these guys buy a friend so decided to give them a call before shipping my laptop off to Dell. The guy on the phone was very helpful and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He said bring it in and they'll take a look then advise what I need to do and how much it would cost.
I took the laptop in on a Saturday, was seen to straight away, explained the issue to one of the staff and he had a quick look. He plugged in one of their own Dell chargers and the issue was gone. He advised what charger I needed to buy and where to buy it from.
The whole process took less than 15 mins. I wasn't charged and was able to buy a new charger for £50. The new charger arrived today and everything seems fine with the laptop.
They've saved me weeks without a laptop, lost earnings through reduced productivity and probably £100's.
It was only a limited interaction with them but I'd be confident to use again.
E. C.Thought I should post in case anyone's in a similar position to me. In general I can see that Computer Angels is great and the staff are really knowledgeable and keen to help, but my one piece of advice would be to not go if you have a mac. I had some liquid damage on my mac and I brought it in but they said the macbook was completely broken and irreparable. Took it to a mac specialist shop and they cleaned and fixed it for £95. Hesitant to leave a negative review as they are so nice and clearly great at computers, and great customer service, but I think if you specifically have a mac I would suggest trying elsewhere too just in case.

l. b.C Angels is also representative for UPS parcel service. They were very helpful and immediately emailed my receipt to my phone and appear to have a good professional setup for fixing PC problems.
