It took a bit of running around & waiting but I eventually did get the screen replaced on my iPad. Done in a day at a reasonable price. One thing that’s worth mentioning is that the shop doesn’t open in the mornings so if you need an urgent repair be aware that you won’t be seen until lunchtime. That said, main business is laptop repair which would usually take longer I guess.

By far the best computer repair shop in London. I have used their services quite a few times over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. I took my dead laptop here last week and they were able to get it up and running in 2 days. This was after showing the laptop to 3 other shops in East Ham who told me to scrap the laptop. I will without any doubts recommend Computer Genius. I was always unhappy having to attend high street repair shops (those having their signs that they repair mobile and laptops) as you always end up having to wait weeks to get your equipment fixed; and the list of excuses were always endless for the delay. On the contrary to my previous experiences, I attended Computer Genius after calling them from a number provided on Google, and the laptop was fixed within an hour. This guy is really a genius.

Super service, efficient and honest. I had gone into the Genius Bar at the Apple Store when my Macbook Air couldn't recognise the SSD. They tried to fix but failed, said I needed a new SSD. I came to Computer Genius to buy a new SSD and have them install it. But the owner said he could have a go at restoring the existing SSD and OS, and did so. Saved me a bundle. Great service.

Awesome service. They were very swift in assisting me. I had a broken screen on my Mac book pro 16”. They advised me on how to get the part, once I got the part and dropped it off they fixed the laptop in the space of a few hours. Excellent service. I ordered a laptop on 21st December and needed it by Christmas. I wrote to them on the 22nd in the evening asking if they could expedite delivery. Although they couldn't promise anything, the laptop arrived on the 24th before 9am. I couldn't be more impressed! These people are quite literally 'Genius'....! When a fan on my high-end workstation failed and my motherboard 'melted' on a Saturday, when I was right in the middle of a project there was no time to order a replacement board however they managed to go into the board at a component/chip level to replace the elements that had fried and had me up and running by Monday morning. I came in to get my Macbook a1502 keyboard replaced from computer genius after reading there reviews. I left my Macbook a1502 2015 model yesterday and got quoted instantly. They ordered the track pad keyboard next day delivery and gave me a time to collect the finished job today around 6pm. But after going there I saw the shop was completely covered in flood due to a leak coming in from the lights. They told me that the Macbook would be ready to collect around 8pm. I was very much impressed from the customer service that they still were helping customers out even though the shop was going through a crisis of water dripping from the ceiling. I told them not to stress and to get it ready for tommorow and not to rush.

Called this company after having taken my faithful old decrepit dell xp pc to a different repair shop in summer this year. The owner asked me to bring it to him later that evening and kept it in to check the problem. A few hours later I got a call, went to collect and to my surprise, was told there was nothing wrong whatsoever...seems like I may have a faulty cable. very good technical skills. My MacBook Pro a1398 was having issues with booting up. ran a diagnostics with there told and it was the Nvidia graphics chip which was faulty. I do a lot of video editing and graphics designing. Thankfully it was all sorted within a space of 2 days, I was amazed how quick the service was. I am leaving a well deserved 5 star review, firstly computer genius rectified my laptop problem for free and secondly they fixed it free of cost! My screen was upside down and I took it to other places they said it will cost £35-£45 to get a new windows re installed. I took my HP g6 laptop here and they fixed it in 2 minutes by just pressing 2 keys and taught me how to rotate the screen around. was recommended by a friend to use this repair shop. It was a very good experience. I messed up my own laptop by opening it up and tried to fix it myself. I made it even worse by ripping off a few cables. I gave them a call and they said just bring it over and not to worry about the screws or anything else. Great customer support and brilliant after care. My Apple MacBook failed to respond. Computer genius fixed my Apple MacBook Pro Retina display model in a very short period of time and it was very cost effective. The only downfall was that they couldn’t fix the 2 keys Q AND S which didn’t work from the start so they told me that the keyboard has to be replaced. But over all I am satisfied with there level of work, I will get the keyboard replaced end of next month.

My HP laptop screen broke on me along with the hinges. This was the first place where I called in and I took my laptop directly there. When I got there they had range of nice laptops and PCs for sale. My son liked a MacBook Air which they sold with a one year guarantee. We also got windows 10 installed on our HP laptop which was running very smoothly. We are looking to upgrade to an SSD drive they advised us that it would run 10 times faster than a normal 2.5” hard drive.

I came across the shop as I drive past it almost everyday. I took the number from there sign board. Gave them a call about my apple MacBook Pro which was showing a no entry sign. They advised me it could be a software issue with Mojave OS X high Sierra or maybe something with the hard drive. Took my apple Imac to get repaired from here. First took it to apple startford Westfield city, and apparently they said to me that my Imac is now antique 2012. Took in my gaming laptop for servicing and they fixed the over heating issue. I was advised that the laptop needs to be fully serviced with a new thermal compound and needed cleaning. They also gave me a guarantee that the laptop will not turn off during gameplay. Very good service recieved and good repair skills.

I do recommend this place. Spent 8 hours today going from place to place to have my GPU fan changed. They done it with no prior notice and I had the laptop back the same day. Laptop is working again and I can get back to 3D modelling and game development.

One thing is to note that this place is extremely busy, I would give my opinion and tell this place to employ more staff so that the customer doesn't have to wait more than 10 minutes just to hand in a macbook. i had to wait 5-10 minutes to hand over my macbook to get the battery changed. the good news was that they had the battery in stock and it was instantly changed for me. there prices are much better compared to other shops and also apple store said they no longer do this model which was a shame. over all experience was 5/5.

I dropped it in this store computer genius and they told me the only outer layer screen is smashed and it can very easily be replaced it was a mid 2011 model but it’s my life. £120 and it all get repaired with a new front digitiser. My apple MacBook Air completely stopped turning on. I called computer genius and they told me to bring it in they will look into it straightaway. I took it in and computer genius immediately opened the MacBook and also rana diagnostics with there imac. They found a problem with the cooling system which is called a heat sink and thermal compound. Because this decreases over a period of time it needs replacing they did this for me within and hour my MacBook was Ona nd working and the cost was very reasonable. Brilliant customer service.

I called them up for a enquiry a young man made me feel much relieved after he said to me not worry and the MacBook would be fixed. I took it in to them they told me the problem instantly. The problem was with the battery, funny enough my battery had swollen up and died. They had a replacement battery in stock they also cleaned up my fan and gave it a bit of a service. I am very happy with the dedication computer genius has shown me as when I took this MacBook Pro to the apple store they had laughed and said it’s vintage when I have fully upgraded it with 256GB SSD and a 16GB ram I am delighted to tell you that my apple MacBook Pro which is 2011 is running like fab. They charge you very reasonable and have most of the items in stock which was stunning. This is the first time I am leaving a review for a place, and I think it very well deserving. Took in my MacBook Pro for repair. My Mac was not switching on all of a sudden. I took it here they switched it on for me and told me that the keyboard is faulty. The only way I could turn the MacBook Pro a1278 is from actually taking out the battery and then re inserting it. Well I decided to get the keyboard changed. It was reasonable pricing and excellent customer service. The power button was actually linked to the keyboard which i didn’t have a clue about so actually learnt a lot whilst they were carrying out the repair for me.

brilliant customer service and top quality skills. my imac was over heating and fan was always running loud. when i took it to the apple store they told me that they had stopped doing repairs in these and they are now counted as vintage even though its 2012 model. i made a google search from the apple store in stratford and this placed popped up on the list first as computer genius. i gave them a call and they told me that its a simple fix of just getting the imac serviced and could be done in short as 2 hours time period.

My HP all in one PC stopped working on me. It wasn’t turning on and I had a lot of work in there high I needed. They gave me hope and told me not to panic as they will get the data recovered as that’s what I was intersted in. Anyhow it was just an issue with a motherboard IC which needed replacement it took a total of 3-4 days for the work to be completed and I was very satisfied with using the computer genius shop.

Would highly recommend them for getting your gaming PC fixed. Very reasonable rate.Went here to get my gaming PC repaired. I had a problem with it where it would just freeze. I was confused weather it was my CPU or GPU. Took it in they told me within 15 minutes what the problem was. It was just a matter of replacing the heatsink thermal paste and also the GPU 2GB graphic card paste. The job was done in about 2 hours I was doing some shopping at the same time and my son was ready to play his games the very same night.
