Great service, 100% recommended! My laptop stopped working, and where another company told me my data would be lost, Malik did ot think so, identified the problem immediately and replaced the faulty parts very quickly! My laptop is now working very well and I have indeed not lost a byte of data! Thank you so much!

One of my kids smashed the screen of my Ipad before Xmas. I'd looked on YouTube on how to replace it myself but it looked incredibly fiddly and concluding that i'd probably break it permanently with my fat-fingered attempts to fix it I took it into Horn Lane Computers for repair. The friendly owner (Malik?) fixed the screen promptly and to my absolute satisfaction. He offers a comprehensive range of IT related services - data recovery, laptop component replacement/upgrades etc. Remember people - support your local businesses !

A local power failure followed by a nasty surge killed off my 20-year old desktop computer, and I lost many years of important data. I live 5 minutes away from Horn Lane Computers, so I took it there to see if it could be repaired. It was a real pleasure meeting Malik, though he only gingerly accepted my dead machine because it was so old and had been running Windows XP, which is no longer supported. But he worked his magic nevertheless, and now I have it back as good as new, with all the data still accessible. He is a very personable and modest character, and was very fair with the price, despite the fact that he had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to source compatible parts for it. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in trouble with their computer. I was also able to buy a second hand laptop from him at a price I could afford. I count myself lucky to have found such a good resource practically on my doorstep.

Would definitely recommend Horn Lane Computers. I took my Apple MacBook Pro as it was running very slow. Malik upgraded the hard drive and Whoopee it now works a dream. Friendly and efficient service. He listened carefully and made very reasonable suggestions. He clearly knows what he is talking about. No BS!! Fantastic service from Malik; I would recommend him to anyone. My desktop PC was hacked and it had been locked by the hackers. I called Horn Lane computers and Malik came round, assessed what needed to be done and took my PC away to work on it. He kept me updated throughout and three days later he brought my PC back and not only had he removed the lock, he upgraded the hard disk (having asked me first) to an SSD and now it runs 50 times faster than it used to and I won't have to buy a new PC for years! I also have a laptop which needs to have its battery replaced and there is only one place I will take it to as I now he will do an efficient, value for money job, while providing a friendly service.
