He made himself available on the day (at the weekend) and turned around the repair really quickly at a fair price. I was hestitating where to repair my expensive laptop, until I found the google page that has reviews about Allen, I had never tried to work with independent repair but the great reviews about Allen made me wanna try, and I am glad I considered this option. Allen is a very knowledgable person in every technical problem that devices have, he is very patient, reliable, thoughtful, and accurate. He always kept in touch with me to tell me about each of the steps that my laptop was going through. My laptop needed a specific screen cable that Allen bought from the internet after spending some time looking for options, he then bought a screen, he cleaned the motherboard, he put some resistor and light, until finally everything worked smoothly again. Now my laptop feels like brand new. The price that Allen proposed was really fair, he would even deserve more money thanks to his rigorous work. If I have considered repair shops, I am sure they would have charged me much much more than what Allen did. I highly recommend Allen for any problem that you have with your PCs, laptops, hard drives etc :)

Have always been a bit uncertain about taking laptops in for independent repair, but for a situation when it was needed I’m very glad to have found Allen via Google Maps. He did a top notch job on a faulty 2011 MacBook Pro for an excellent price, proactively kept in touch throughout the repair process, and comes across as someone who isn’t happy until the repair has been completed successfully. Hopefully won’t need too many repairs in future, but won’t hesitate to go back to Allen if needed! 6 stars if I could ;)

I took my Dell XPS 15 to Allen with a problem with the trackpad, a common occurance with this particular model. Allen was SO helpful and checked over the machine during the weekend so I could have it for work again on Monday. The issue with the loose trackpad is nearly completely gone (not 100% due to faulty manufacturing of the the casing, nothing Allen could do about it) but as it wasn't 100% fixed Allen didn't charge me for the repair. What a gent. I will 100% be calling Allen again in the future for computer fixes and issues. Highly highly recomend.

I recently had trouble with my ageing but hi-spec HP laptop, which was quickly diagnosed over the phone by Allen as most likely a damaged screen rather than anything too terminal. After some trial and error, a suitable replacement screen was used to repair the machine which is now working perfectly again. I trust it will give a few more years of life to my laptop. In this case the cost of repair only around a quarter of a new equivalent. Highly recommended!

Was initially quite sceptical since the business does not have a proper storefront. Its owner Allen operates from a flat on North End Rd and is also affiliated with a bigger computer workshop elsewhere in London. Allen diagnosed the problem with my computer's motherboard quickly and was very friendly. Price was also in line with other computer repair shops I called for a quote (around £40 for diagnosis).

I went to Allen based on the reviews here. I had issues with Skype and in my infinite wisdom decided I could fix it myself. Needless to say I corrupted my hard drive & was faced with the legendary 'blue screen of death'! Allen managed to recover all my data and reinstalled Windows for me. Really good value and quick laptop repair. I brought Allen my Asus gaming laptop when the operating system got corrupted. For a fair price (much better than other prices I received) Allen fixed and upgraded my operating system, cleaned the entire internals and put new thermal paste on the graphics card. I brought my Asus laptop to Allen last month as it was not connecting to the internet and its appearance had changed. Upon meeting up, Allen explained the possible solutions to the problem and prices. He then repaired my laptop in 2 hours: he repaired some corrupted files and installed the missing dll. He also made some additional tweaks to make it faster and keep it protected. The price I was charged seem fair to me - I had previously contacted a laptop repair shop where I was told the only solution would have been to replace the operating system and they would have charged me more than twice what it costed me to have it repaired by Allan. I am very pleased with this laptop repair experience and I will very likely contact Allen again in the future for any other laptop related problems.
