I am very grateful to the lucky star that led me to Minko's Macs Camden. It is never a pleasant experience when one's MacBook decides to shut down without prior notice. But upon stepping inside this shop, both Jan and Max's calm sweet disposition and honest eagerness to help and be of value felt immediately like a heaven-sent gift at that very moment. Aside from their expertise and solid understanding of hardware/software interactions, it was in fact their high level of honesty and integrity that set them apart and made their service unique and special. This will be my go to place for any future Apple Mac repairs.

I recommend this shop. I have visited twice once because of a faulty power supply unit and and the other time due to a hard drive failure. It was diagnosed correctly and the units were replaced properly. The iMac has been working perfectly alright ever since. The service is quick and they are very friendly.

Bought a second hand Macbook Pro 2013 for 600£ (Don't know how good it works or how long it will last though, I guess I'll have to update) (Update: The screen flickers a little and the battery life isn't great) They said I have 14 days to exchange and 3 months warranty. Recently my MacBook pro's display screen went blank. I took it to the Apple shop in Oxford street and was told that due to difficulty getting parts (and it's an old model) I might as well buy a new Mac book pro! I then took it to Minko's in Camden where Akarsh diagnosed what he thought the problem was and thought that it was fixable. I collected my MacBook Pro today all fixed with a new battery - and beautifully cleaned. I'm so relieved. The service in this shop is first class - they are computer engineers who know what they are doing. I can strongly recommend this service to others. Not only were all the staff I had contact with professional and attentive they were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Came in to the Camden store with a broken and corrupted hard drive and no back up! Max successfully recovered all the data and restored to a brand new SSD so now my computer is exactly as it was before, only faster! All this was sorted over a couple of days, speedy and reliable service.

I had a disaster accident by spilling tea over my MacBook Pro, I took it to a repair shop previous to my visit to Minko's. I was told that it was done for and I would have to replace the logic board or buy a new Mac. I went to Minko's for a second opinion; where I met Max, and Max offered to have a look at my MacBook there and then and communicate to me what the issues could be. after some tinkering within minutes we found that it could be turned on and seemed to be working fine. I will have to see how it copes going forward, but when I thought all hope had been lost, Max helped me and now I am able to at the very least back up all my files, and see how much life is left in this Mac. Thank you so much Max, I am very grateful for your time!

Had my battery on my macbook pro replaced in april but it wasn't really performing due to apparently overheating from not being serviced, went back and Darren replaced it and serviced the macbook for a very reasonable price and very quickly. I have purchased a Matchbook pro Touch Bar, the price seemed fair and the laptop in good conditions. At home I realised that the camera wasn't working so I took it back to Minko'smac, the laptop comes under warranty so it wasn't a problem. These bad reviews came from idiots who have no idea what they are talking about. Excellent products and customer service from a very knowledgeable team. Fixed my MacBook Pro 2011 in under and hour with a completely new hard drive, compatible with latest high Sierra. Works as fast as any new model Macbook. It even came with free Adobe Creative Suite. Reasonable pricing.

I've been a customer for a year. I've bought a mac book pro. Me being not so tech savy, the guys have been helpful enough to inform be about the product. I've also returned months latter to resolve a technical issue, which was resolved immediately.

I saw their advert on Gumtree, they were correct, it was the cheapest. I bought it after much inspection and found nothing wrong with it, although did come with keyboard and mouse thats not apple branded and no box. I have been operating this MAC for almost six weeks and have had no problem at all, the MAC also came with an extended 2 year warranty at no further costs, so this added to an already bargain proposition. I would have given MINKO's 4 star rating, but due to receipt not being processed on the day of purchase and getting it after a lengthy effort I am going to stick to 3.

They told me to spend a realistic amount of money for what i needed it for as i was looking at the lower end of items which vary from £150-£300 but i was advised going in at around £500-£600 and i have an item running smoothly with no issues for the past month.
