Great service! I’ve stopped in a couple of times for phone screen repairs and more recently assistance with my MacBook. The guys were super quick with an engineer report and kept me up to date with repairs and any costs there might be. All reasonably priced and fair. Would definitely recommend!

I take my old MacBook Pro to these guys every time I have a problem with it. They've replaced the drive and the battery, and also fixed a mysterious software problem that was destroying my storage capacity. Every single interaction I've had with them has been lovely. Absolutely superb service from these guys. My iMac failed on me on Friday morning, I called them at 10:30am and made an appointment to drop it off for a diagnosis at 2pm (Covid restrictions so had to make an appointment via phone). They had installed a new SSD hard drive by 4:30pm allowing me to collect my iMac before 6pm the very same day. I was genuinely blown away by the speedy and knowledgable service provide. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Really impressed with this company. Great service, Friendly and professional and keep you informed, also very honest about expectations. My Mac laptop stopped working, couldn’t turn on or charge it. They did an initial inspection and found out that water had got into the motherboard. They didn’t promise they could fix it but they have - yeah. And at a very reasonable cost. Can I just also say I’m really confused about the guy who left a review on behalf of his friend, how does that work? I hope no one does that on my behalf, how can it be verified? Very odd IMO.

Took my Macbook Pro in for a screen replacement and the guy I spoke to was very friendly and talked me through the process. I told him that i have travelled a fair distance and he assured me that it would be done the same day. So I parked at the Arndale and had a wonder around the city centre, 2.5 hours later he called me to say that he had finished the job and my machine was ready to collect! Absolutely amazing service, especially since apple would have charged 3x as much and I would have been without my Mac for about 2 weeks. Highly recommend.

These guys have painstakingly replaced the hard drive, restored all my files, upgraded my parallels and managed to do the impossible by putting Windows XP and Windows 10 on together so that I can use my old software and Office 365. Great service and really helpful staff, accidentally spilt some liquid on my MacBook Pro and firstly took to Apple who suggest it was beyond repair unless I wanted to pay 800+ to fix. Took it to Manchester Mac & of centre and they fixed my Mac for a fraction of the price , they also reassured me that’s it was fixable and I had my Mac back within three days. The guys fixed my iPhone this Saturday. Excellent customer service, good prices - I would recommend them! I made a mistake at first, I popped into a wrong shop in the same street - be aware, the other shop also has blue windows, just for misleading customers. They were unable to fix my phone, so far from professionals. I picked up the phone, went to Mac Repair just 15:50 (they were closing at 16:00). I explained what happened in the other shop etc. and they offered a fast repair. Even that took more than 15 minutes and they had to close the shop, I could wait inside and I got back a fully working phone within 20 minutes. Well done you guys! Got my Mac Mini upgraded here last year, didn't leave a review at the time but thought I would now! Most Macs come with 5200rpm hard drives which are frankly comically slow... I wanted to use my 2014 Mac Mini for music production, but didn't want to buy Logic Pro with the performance as it was. Anyways, I found Mac Repair and for I think around £150-200 they replaced the Hard Drive with a 512GB SSD, with files and software all exactly as I left it! Computer is considerably faster loading software and booting. Really breathed new life into the machine. They also gave me the old hard drive with my mac at pickup, which isn't always guaranteed. If you have a Mac running on a hard drive and it's struggling to keep up, I'd recommend getting in touch with these guys and looking at an SSD replacement.

I asked for a new SSD (with a clone) to be put into my old iMac. They offered a pick up and drop service. It was done and dusted even over the weekend and I had it back in under 3 days. Good job done! Great location. Replaced battery on mac air...(advised it should be one or two day max) Royal Mail failed to deliver the battery next day, or leave tracking info. It was a frustrating experience but the staff chased it and remained patient throughout. Battery turned up a week later!!!

Amazing! Took my iMac in 11.30 am Friday, was called at 5 pm with a very reasonable price, and again 6.30 pm to say it was fixed!. When I picked it up the next day the very helpful young man spent a long time explaining what had been done and then thoroughly cleaning the screen and showing me how to do it properly. They’ve fixed my Mac book and iMac in the past and recently fixed by iPhone 6. I’ve moved to Cumbria and couldn’t find anyone who could fix my broken camera on my phone (motherboard replacement due to water damage), Apple said they would not repair it and to get a new phone- so dropped it in the store and they posted it back to me. It took a while but they had to send off to China for a part- I was so happy they managed to fix it- it works perfectly again. Always Reasonably priced- highly recommended.

Now writing this review on it, so relived to have it back up and running, faster than ever. Outstanding service. My iMac stopped working and I was unable to repair it with the help of Apple Support. Apple suggested I take my iMac to any repair shop other than an Apple Store as they classed my 2011 iMac as vintage and as such, no longer manufacture the parts to repair it. My iMac was diagnosed and fixed (it needed a new SSD) within 24 hours and I was charged a very reasonable price for their work. I have spilt liquid on my mac book pro multiple times but a few weeks ago I had spilt a lot of water, which caused my system to shutdown. I knew I was in trouble and fearing the prices for repair I decided not to go to Apple and find a company that has experience with water damage. The person at the store was amazing, he identified and repaired the corrosion done to the motherboard, I was charged a very reasonable price and the job was done in one day.

Helped me with a MacBook Pro (2011 machine) query when Apple would not assist (Apple described my computer as ‘beautiful but obsolete’, and thus would not support-even with me offering to pay for the repair). I was always skeptical about going somewhere other than apple but based on the reviews and the fact they quoted me less than half of the price apple did I decided to give it a go. The glass and the LCD on my iPhone was completely smashed and they managed to fix it in an hour. Along with that, the loud speaker hadn’t worked for months and now it’s working perfectly. I took my MacBook Pro into the Mac Repair shop due to having serious issues in using it in on a day to day basis. The machine was bought in 2011 and during this time the hard drive had slowed down considerably. The shop inspected it and ran diagnostics on it. They called me back the day after and told me what the issue with it was and gave me a full and comprehensive list of the options available to me. They took their time to go through all the options, and said due to the amount I used the machine that the replacement of the hard drive would be adequate. It was good as I did not feel pressured into making a decision and they did not force the most expensive option. I decided to go for a brand new 512 GB SSD which is the same type as found in the brand new Retina MacBook Pro's, they also said they would transfer everything from the old hard drive to the new one for a small fee. They had an issue with my hard drive being encrypted so had to try numerous different methods to get the old data off, and they managed to do it in the end with no loss of data!! Overall the effort of the staff was extremely high and the service i received was very professional, even better than that received in Apple Stores which can take an age to get things sorted. This was the second time that I have used the Mac Repair shop. The previous time they managed to get my MacBook up and running within a day after the Apple Shop said it would need to be sent off for up to a month. Very pleased with all the services and would highly recommend.

My girlfriend accidentally spilt water all over my mac the other night, after spending a sleepless night trying to dry it out and get it running I decided to take it in to macrepairs. I explained that I needed it repaired as soon as possible due to reports being due in at uni the following Monday. I was also expecting it to be pretty costly but was pleasantly surprised with a £50 service charge. An hour and a half and a coffee later I received a phone call from them saying it was all fine and I could pick it up. Relieved I decided to buy a cover and keyboard protector incase I found myself in a similar position. They helped me find the right size that would fit and even offered to put it on for me. Can't fault this place at all and I know I'll be back if I have any other problems.

EXCELLENT SERVICE About 10 days ago my MacBook Pro screen went blank whilst I was checking emails etc. Could not believe why this happened, so I am quite knowledgable with computers and this had me puzzled, but most importantly I was thinking that I have lost everything. So I have used Mac Repair Centre before and was extremely happy with the quality of repair and excellent customer service I received. So I contacted them and brought my MacBook in for them to diagnose the problem, at first they thought it might be a simple problem with the screen, but more investigating it was found to be that the motherboard was faulty which is quite serious, so I was advised that it would cost around £500 to be repaired so it had to be done so I gave them the authority to go ahead. They explained it would take 3-5 days to get the part from there supplier and then it would take 4 hours to repair my MacBook, so yesterday I contacted them and I was told that my MacBook is still under Apple Care Warranty and that it would only cost me £25 I could not believe this because I checked and I had no products under warranty but I must have typed my serial number in wrongly, so they have claimed my repair under my warranty and have used genuine Apple Components which is vital. So I have collected my MacBook earlier today (22/09/16) and everything is in excellent working order, have not lost any information on my hard drive, and I am really happy with the repairs and the quality of service and advise is fantastic. I would recommend anyone who has a problem or needs advice with a Apple product then contact Mac Repair Centre because they are friendly and will do there up most to help, resolve and fix your problem as quickly as possible. I will definitely will be using Mac Repair in the future, cheers guys.

Had an issue with the trackpad on my Macbook not working and had also tried to reset to factory settings and due to trackpad issues was left with nothing but an empty folder when I turned on my Macbook. Turned out that my trackpad needed realigning which was covered by the £25 diagnostic test and was charged £40 to reinstall the operating system. I was in Curry's/PC World last week and they charge £60 to reset a laptop to factory settings which is pretty basic. I had no idea how to reinstall the operating system from where I was at. Was happy to pay the £65 in total to get my Macbook back up and running. I read the reviews positive and negative and decided to give them a go. I'm glad I did, would imagine it would have cost more to rectify at the Apple Store.

Popped in yesterday as required a tempered glass screen protector fitting to my iPad Air 2 and was quoted £10, took my iPhone 6 in as well and charged £5. £15 all in inc screens, bargain of the week! Really not worth fiddling around trying to fit one esp for the iPad. Both done in under 10 mins. Great screen protectors they're far superior to the plastic types, you really can feel the difference. Replaced a smashed screen (aka a 'digitizer') on an iPad2 for me a couple of weeks ago. Dropped off iPad at lunch time. It was ready to collect a couple of hours later and I picked it up on the way home from work. Good as new. The wife and son were well chuffed. Was £50. Feel like I need to spread the word as the amount of smashed iphone screens I see on the train on the commute into work is ridiculous if it's this reasonable to have them replaced. Worth mentioning I work on Quay Street in the city centre. I walked there and back and I only took an hour for lunch. It was about a 25 min walk from my workplace.

Excellent service, turned around my repair in an hour when everywhere else I looked was £100+ more expensive AND quoting a 3-4 day turnaround, highly recommend. Only improvement I'd suggest is spending time making the shop more presentable, but don't let that put you off, great service & pricing.
