Brilliant Company. MacBook Pro had a failure of the ribbon lead to the screen causing failure when screen opened more than 90 degrees. Everything explained to me and repaired perfectly same day and no over the top cost. Thank you, great service that I can whole heartedly recommend. Richard.

Can't recommend this place highly enough. My 2017 MacBook Pro died and wouldn't draw power. Research online showed damage to some chips on the board as the likely culprit. After trying a few places, all wanted to replace the board. While this no doubt would have worked, it would have been costly, wasteful and have resulted in losing the data on the machine. I came across Jamie quite by chance after nearly giving up. I only found one other questionable place (wouldn't have trusted them with the machine anyway) who also offered component level repair and they wanted "minimum £600". Jamie has clear fixed prices on the website, which are more than fair (I'd say he could increase the price and I'd have paid a bit more, no issue). I sent the machine off by Royal Mail Special Delivery (1/4 the cost of Parcel2go with insurance), it arrived with him the next day, and by the end of that day he'd messaged me the machine was fixed, and had been dropped off for postage back to me. Machine arrived back shortly afterwards in full working order and was well packaged. Payment was by bank transfer, the entire process was online, the comms were friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this service highly enough. Don't bother with anywhere else for an Apple repair.

A gem of a company!!! My 2017 15" MacBook Pro developed a fault where the screen dies once it was lifted upright. A 40 mile wasted journey to my nearest Apple store revealed one of two options. A total screen replacement costing £640 with a 2 week turn around..... or buy a new MBP costing £2400+. Fortunately I did neither, and after searching the web.... I was very fortunate to find ABSOLUTE CIRCUITS. A quick call, and soon Jamie had diagnosed a damaged ribbon cable. I was also made aware that this is an inherent design fault by Apple which potentially can affect many models. Since I was visiting the area, Jamie was able to fit me in at short notice with an extremely quick turn around and I collected the same day!!!! at a cost of £200 (68% cheaper than Apple repair.) Highly recommend and professional first class service. I have already spread the word amongst my fellow Apple users. Take a look at the website and see for yourself!! My Logic board failed in my 2 year old Apple Mac Pro. Unfortunately it was out of warranty and Apple approved dealer wanted £625 to replace the board. Sent my MacBook Pro to Jamie and he repaired the board for a third of the price. Sent my MacBook Pro on the Wednesday via courier and it was back with me the following Monday, all data still intact. Whilst there can be some hesitancy in sending a valuable computer off in the post to an organisation you have not dealt with before, I was quite delighted with the whole process. Communication was impeccable which is the most important part of any service. The root cause was not what had been anticipated after speaking to Apple and a local Mac specialist but it was promptly handled. I was about ready to abandon Apple computers as this MacBook Pro was only a few weeks out of warranty and they wanted near enough the value of the machine to repair it. I was expecting to go back to PCs as dealing with apple appeared to be throwing good money after bad. Now that I know that hardware issues can be managed by a professional all I need to manage is the software.

Overwhelmingly impressive service, and saved me almost £600! The left side ports on my MacBook stopped working correctly. Initially, went to Apple for a repair and they quoted me £720 for a logic board replacement. Instead of this, I found The MacVision online and sent an email. Cannot recommend Jamie enough. My Macbook Pro 2017 screen stopped working due to Flexgate. Apple quoted £500 for the repair, Jamie charged me £175. Apple wanted 14 days to complete the repair, Jamie turned it around in a day. I've found a repair guy for life.

Wow. I don’t even know where to start. After what can only described as a horrendous week, I accidentally spilled an entire cup of coffee over my MacBook Pro. It was drowning in it, to the point where I lifted it up and coffee was pouring out of the keys. After Apple provided zero support and even gave incorrect advice, I went to see Jamie who was positive and professional from the start. In just 24 hours and at 25% of what Apple would have charged, he managed to resurrect my Mac. I had my facebook account hacked and then my laptop would not restart because the OS download failed - I hadn't updated it for years. The guys were great suggesting I need a full re-install. They copied my data onto an old dissk I had and it was all done within the day. I went from being really stressed to releived in the space of the day because of the quality of service they offered. My 2015 Macbook Pro stopped had stopped charging. Knowing that Apple would likely quote £500+ for a new logic board, I went to seek out the UK's answer to Louis Rossman. Here he is! Jamie replied to my enquiry within 20 minutes. After I shipped my machine to him, he'd diagnosed and fixed the problem on the same day (bad DC in board + bad ISL chip). Saved me hundreds of pounds, and I had the machine back in a flash. Really efficient ticketing system + parcel tracking meant I was kept informed the whole time. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Have used Jamie 3 times now, either for myself or for other people. Has successfully brought 3 dead Macbooks back to life. The type of repair he does is quite specialised and you won't find somebody doing this in every town. You also will NOT get this type of repair done at your local Apple store! You get regular progress reports on your repair, which is done for a very fair price, considering the type of skill needed. Highly recommended!

I sent my 2017 15 inch macbook pro to the apple store who diagnosed a power problem (due to the use of third party chargers apparently), rendering the logic board redundant. They quoted £679 + VAT!! I then called the local shop in Cardiff, who also said I would need a new logic board and quoted £700 plus labour!! This was very depressing and upsetting considering the amount of money I'd spent on it. I was on the verge of selling it on ebay when I found Absolute Circuits online. I wasn't very hopeful. Two days later Jamie called me up and said he'd fixed the issue and it would only cost £175. I honestly can't thank him enough. Clearly a talented engineer. I'm over the moon.
