After my macbook was water damaged and apparently completely dead, I phoned Joel based on the reviews here. By the end of the day I had dropped off the laptop, and was back with me working properly within about a week. All the time Joel was very responsive and clearly explained what was needed and then organised the repair, keeping me updated on progress by phone or email. Great service, would use him again and have happily recommended him to a neighbour.

O U T S T A N D I N G !! Could not thank Joel & Newport Computer Repairs enough! Trying to run a company throughout a global pandemic has proven hard enough without to terror that can be modern technology but as always joel was there to save the day. My Laptops screen completely blanked and was extremely temperamental even whilst connected to a separate monitor. It was clear it needed repairing but I simply could not be without it for a few days it just wasn't an option. I gave Joel at Newport Computer Repairs a call on a friends recommendation and ask for a price and a timeframe and explained my desperate position. Joel then gave me an alternative not only would he repair my screen he would also ensure I was not without my laptop, that same day after work hours he came out to my office and within 15 minutes had removed the screen and ordered the replacement. He then made sure I was still able to use laptop while I waited for the replacement. Joel rang me around mid day 3 days later to inform me the replacement screen had arrived and to arrange it to be fitted, again the same evening he was back at my office replacing the screen which now works perfectly. The flexibility from Joel who really went above and beyond for me ensured me to keep my business running smoothly while he got the job done at a really affordable price. An absolute gentlemen and professional throughout. Would recommend to anyone!

Joel is a Knight in shining armour!! My laptop was not loading correctly, freezing and running so slowly it was almost in reverse! The issue was identified and fixed in such a timely manner! What do I say about this man, That Joel knows his onions well his IT, and he is dam good at what he does, I can’t remember how many years he told me he had been around in the computer industry, but it was a long time, but when he was talking to me about my laptop I understood what he was talking about, he has a way of talking in a concise way but at a level even I understood lol. My laptop gave up a ghost and in the time that he quoted me he had phoned me with his findings and the best options that were open to myself, once I made my decision he got the job done. He gave a good guarantee with his work, and to be honest the service I received was worth every penny I paid, which I thought was very reasonable. Once you have seen Joe you are unlikely to ever need another PC repair man, a good honest chap where nothing is too much trouble.
