Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Were prepared to order a title in for me as it was not in stock. I'm not a gamer but they made purchasing 2 games for Christmas presents very easy, and explained the differences in various editions and versions so I knew what I was buying. Definitely recommended and it's important to support the high street and the knowledge of a helpful employee. Well worth the extra £10 ( £5 per game ) I could potentially have saved buying online. But I would have bought the wrong version of the one game and had a less than 100% happy son on Christmas morning.

Once you can get hold of a staff member {it was good 10 minutes with no one at a till} they are very friendly and helpful. They even check if the products you want are available cheaper. I only wish thy were open longer as I usually finish work same time they close its can't shop there on most weekdays.

Excellent service. Received the Zelda Breath of the wild limited edition guide in the post from game today. It arrived damaged and there was no stock in the Cardiff store. So I drove to Newport Game. The staff member exchanged it within a minute without complaint. Thank you now I can get to gaming

The staff and brillant and helpful! But ive gave it 4 stars because there pricing its £60 for Destiny 2 in Game but when you go to cex (also i dont mind second hand games as long as they work) So when you go to cex Destiny 2 is £15

This video game shop is centrally located in Commercial Street, which is in the very heart of Newport. Within easy walking of the bus station and the railway station and there are also pay and display car parks nearby. The place to come for your games and consoles and talk to the friendly knowledgeable who are very willing to help.
