E. B.I had such a great experience with Martin at The I guys. Excellent Customer Service, it felt like he really went above and beyond to help me. I brought a refurbished Mac Book pro, (at a very reasonable price!). He helped me set up and transfer all my data from my old computer, which was super efficient! Very friendly and would definitely recommend for all your apple product needs.. l won’t go anywhere else now.
M. S.So far I have purchased two phones, one for my wife and one for myself and a iPad for my ten year old daughter. Also I had my Mac book pro fixed which had a broken screen. L. A.Popped in yesterday. We met Martin who sold my husband a new phone and set it up for him. He then spent ages looking at my iPhone which I had bought ‘as new’ but second hand - where he showed me how it was actually a badly refurbished phone with parts that weren’t even Apple. Lesson learnt - I’ll never buy another phone like that! So grateful to Martin for explaining it all and sorting us both out. Very pleased with the service we received and delighted we have found a go-to person with our phones/iPads problems. Thank you Martin - a pleasure to meet you.
R. M.If I could award more stars I would. In short Martin repaired my 2015 MacBook for a very reasonable sum late on Saturday afternoon. He stayed in his Cowes shop way past closing time to fix it (I was a walk in repair mid afternoon) - including updating all the software. I'm a great lover of Apple products and it is so good to find a real expert like Martin. I'd previously taken my MacBook to my local Apple Store who estimated the repair cost to be £500+ which made fixing the laptop uneconomic. The Apple Genius Bar technician showed me a photo allegedly of the interior of my MacBook displaying significant corrosion on the logic board (hence the high repair cost). When Martin opened up my MacBook there was no evidence of any corrosion whatsoever; Apple must have "mistakenly" photographed another MacBook. I know where I will go in future....Thanks for outstanding service Mr Potter!
K. L.Bought a second hand IPhone 12 from Martin, which developed a fault soon after purchase. Martin took it back - no quibble - sent it away for repair just before Christmas - got it back 7 days later - all fixed + free phone case thrown in. Excellent service - fully recommended!!
I. D.Took my iPhone to their Cowes branch after it had been ‘repaired’ by a bunch of cowboys, sadly also operating in Newport. I was showed me the bodges inflicted and promised to get everything fixed. After a week, I now have a phone that looks brand new. Very impressed.
