I just wanted to thank Matty and the kind lady in the Apple shop that helped me with my
Phone today.
From the very start it’s really very good to see staff monitoring on the door and still only letting so many customers in at a time, other shops could learn a lesson from this instead on now just sticking signs up hoping people follow them and disappearing to do another job. On each occasion I return to see if my phone was ready your system worked saving cueing time outside Apple.
When I first went in my Orginal issue was the battery needed replacing but after being diagnosed and a keen eye for detail Matty noticed that my screen was out of alignment from my phone slightly and that my battery may be causing this. He explained what would happen as the Genius Bar was going to try and fix in store but if for any reason they where unable I would be lent a loan phone. Most people treat their phones like there babies , I treat mine like my right arm as it has all my information stored and crypted onto it, however he assured me that no data would be lost and true enough no passwords or codes where lost.
I had to hang around Norwich for 3 hrs but on
My return I was pushed to the front of the cue where I was met by the really helpful lady that had helped me earlier on in the cue. She explained it had all been taken care of under warranty and that I had nothing to pay. She was also able to answer another technical question that I was unsure of.
Both Matty and her helped me out today and went beyond the scope of their duty.
I tried to get an email address for the store so I could email a letter of thanks but was told they don’t have one so this is hopefully the next best way of them being recognised for their hard work by there manager.

First time in Apple store in Norwich, had an appointment with the Genius Bar. My new IPhone 13max pro, the charging port was not working . Saw a really nice young girl called Carly polite smiley face and fixed it in 1 minute. No thought of Apple a piece of looked like wire was in there. With checking at home it was my charger. In all I spoke to 2 others on shop floor all really nice.

The battery health on my iphone, combined with a recent update, was causing my phone to die far quicker than acceptable. I booked an appointment online for the next working day (which I thought was excellent considering most businesses were still closed at the time), ran the phone in and paid for the battery replacement. At around £50, this is no more than a google search was suggesting independents charged and meant a genuine product. Left the phone with them for an hour and collected with 100% health. Will definitely be using again

I wasn't going to give the Apple store 5 stars because we tried to book an appointment to look at laptops a day in advance and were told it wasn't necessary. We discovered that there was a two hour wait when we arrived this morning! BUT after a short time we went into the store and had a chance to browse the laptops before Callum served us. He was very informative (without too much tech language!) And lead us through the choices available on our budget. He also found us an excellent deal which is an offer for students at the moment with a discount and free stuff! We are very happy! ☺️☺️

Covid-19 precautions & booking
Booked on line slightly annoying that you need an Appl ID but no big deal, booked slot. Good screening by staff on the door managing entry and store not overcrowded so good social distancing possible so top marks there.
Store itself is all you would expect of an Apple shop well laid out and everything looking very neat.
Good time to play with iMac and poke around a little and then good discussion with Apple Rep (Scott, I think) very friendly and knowledgeable answered all my questions including some around backup to NAS devices and dual boot options.
Overall impressed, came out more or less having decided to buy, just need to consider options and spec against cost which can increase rather dramatically if you tick too many option boxes.

I have bought various products from this Apple store including Apple TV and a HomePod - both of which the sales staff were really helpful and answered any Qs and gave demos of the items. I’ve attended to have various iPhone screen repairs and most recently for a Genius Bar apt for my MacBook Pro. Service is always outstanding, fast and efficient. My MacBook Pro had to be sent away, and came back to me in better cosmetic condition than it went away in (they polished some light scratches out of the corners which were from a case, even though it’s not related to the issue it went away for).

We are so fortunate to have a store that manages the Apple needs of this city. I am always greeted rapidly and beautifully by staff, I was served super swiftly, the phone I wanted was in stock, the changeover from one model to another was relatively painless and I didn’t need an appointment. Poor Londoners who cannot turn up unannounced and discover besides that the Latest model is all sold out.

Very kind and helpful staff. When I went a straight away a man greeted me saying hello can I help you at all. I said yes explained there was a problem with my phone and he said I should have someone with you in about 5 minutes. I waited 15 seconds and a lady said hello so what’s the problem I explained and she fixed up my iPhone completely free and I was only in there for about 10 minutes max. Absolutely wonderful staff. Definitely recommend going here if you need any help. 👍🏽.

Apple redefined technology retail and their store in Norwich is a good example of this open plan hands on showcase. The staff here were friendly and I would say with varying degrees of technical knowledge. What they all had in common was enthusiasm and energy. That in itself is a rare commodity on the high street. All the latest kit was on show and very accessible. A good example of the new age of retail.

I've always had great service from the Chapelfield store with exception of this week. I booked my wife iPhone in for repair and was 3 minutes late for my genius appointment. I was held in a queue to speak with one of the guys at the front of the store since my phone would not book me in because I was late. The queue made me even more late - when I got to the front, I was told anything over 5 minutes means I need to rebook. I was over the 5 minutes because I was held in the queue. There was 3 customers suffering the same issue. The Apple Store employee started to stress and it took a manager to sort things out.
It was like walking into Curry's or PC World which is not what you expect.

Great - way better than the ones in London. They replaced my MacBook’s screen and mended the HDMI free, and today the manager spent ages showing me how to set up a Mac virtual machine, which has defeated me for months.

Incredible experience every time I go in. Any time I need a question answering or have an issue with my MacBook or iPod, it is resolved quickly and easily. They are upfront and honest about any potential costs, and are very generous regarding repairs and problems. My MacBook screen was a little floppy when it opened and closed, so they immediately took it in to replace the whole display at no cost, but ran diagnostics before they took it to ensure there was nothing else wrong and helped me transfer files that I would need while I didn't have my Mac. They explained every part of the process in an open, clear way without any techy stuff that I didn't understand. Every staff member I have had has been nothing but absolutely charming, knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. My favourite Apple Store without question, I am so lucky to have it as my local!

Absolutely superb service. Booked my recently purchased iPhone 7 in to fix a slightly discoloured screen. Both John Lewis and Apple's postal repair service had previously refused to fix it, saying it was within acceptable limits. The staff at Apple Chapelfield by contrast, couldn't have been more helpful. I acknowledged that the problem was subtle and not everyone could see it but the gentleman at the Genius Bar said if I thought there was a problem, he would be more than happy to replace the whole screen under warranty without any quibbling. It was so refreshing not to have to fight to prove there was a problem and to be believed right from the outset. The phone was repaired within an hour and a half and low and behold, the new screen is much better. Couldn't be happier!

The staff here are just amazing, they go above and beyond in terms of customer service and are always welcoming. I phoned Chapelfield, Norwich branch today in order to book an appointment for what I though might have been a complicated procedure, but the adviser I spoke to was able to talk me through removing an iPhone4 from cloud after I had cleared it back to 'factory reset', (wrongly thinking I had unlocked it!)
The adviser was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and polite, talking me through the procedure which saved me a 24 mile round trip.

CUSTOMER SERVICE (IN-STORE)...
I have enjoyed Apple products for a long time and have always enjoyed there new updates technology; I have recently bought an iPhone 5S from 'Three', as I wanted to ring someone I couldn't because the speaker (where you hold it up to your ear and listen into) was broken so I was using the loud speaker for 6-7months unil I finally got it repaired. Just yesterday I went into Apple store and asked to see someone about the problem so he made an appointment for me to see the 'Genius Bar', which I had to just wait 10-15mins to recieve a text saying they were ready to see me. I spoke to a specilist at the 'Genius Bar' and he checked the phone and ran a diagnostic test to see what he could do. Which he said he would repair and fix the receiver in my 5S - ...it would take 1hour to do so; unlike other company's, which would have to send your phone away to London or somewhere to get it fixed. I got back after about 50mins to pick my iPhone up and it works like a charm, like nothing ever happened to it! + I didn't have to pay anything as my iPhone is still in warranty, which I would have to pay £40-50 ((( 5/5 for customer service! )))
