D. U.Have been a familiar face in the shop over many years, his polite and relaxed attitude makes him approachable and always been able to have a discussion with him about what is suitable (and I used to be a PC builder).
The prices are reasonable, especially for a city center shop,
You might be able to find yourself a price a bit cheaper here and there, but then have to spend a £5 in petrol or just not get the good customer support and if you are a regular he will try and do a competitive price match, if he can.
Compuplus have always stocked the mid range and higher quality products and not the cheap components as they are not worth the money for him and tend to offer poor performance and longevity, and would cost to much time in preparing and sorting out returns.
The owner spends time with people to ensure good customer service, so sometimes you may just have to wait !
I am for one who still uses it as my preferred Nottingham supplier.
Seem strange the reviewers who have left negativity and seem to be out of the ordinary characteristics seem to only leave complaint about everyone they deal with !!
E. L.Had a very nice communication with the owner and other staff. A laptop we have has a broken DC socket and the guys opened the laptop while we were waiting and ordered a replacement part.
My experience so far has been very positive. Hopefully the result will be to when the laptop will be ready.

He even delivered one of my builds once. Never steered me wrong and this place is my 1st local stop for PC advice over PC World.
The only negative i would give this place is they are not speedy in updating their stock list online!
M. H.Great alternative to web-systems, which is where most people go in Nottingham for computer parts. I prefer 'Compuplus' myself because it's nearer and often cheaper. I have been going there many years and have never known them to be anything but helpful courteous and friendly. I find the negative reviews very strange and slightly suspicious - sour grapes competitors?

A.Friendly service, went their to replace my keyboard and charger, surprised not to be a charged an arm and a leg, he even told me not to pay a full price for a charger, which he could have easily done and made more money of me, instead he advised me to only replace the part of the Charger that was broken.
Plus I only pay when the work is done, and if it's satisfactory then 5 it is!
