Managed to source a replacement screen for me urgently and repair my laptop 2 days earlier than originally quoted. Fantastic service!

Open on Sundays! Oxon IT Support got me out of a real pickle when I spilled water all over my laptop late Saturday night. I took it in Sunday afternoon, and two days later, it was cleaned up and working good as new! Crucially, unlike some other IT repair shops, Oxon's online information is accurate. At first, I actually tried to go somewhere else in the centre of town nearer where I live, only to find that they were shut despite their online opening hours claiming otherwise... But it was for the best, because I got top notch service at Oxon IT Support. Naveed was friendly and professional the whole time, and completely transparent, explained what the problems were and the process of fixing them both times, I felt like I was leaving my laptop in safe hands. I was also able to rent a laptop for a cheap price, and Naveed kindly managed to find a model that had Microsoft Word installed because I needed it for work. Everything was very easy. I will definitely go back again if I have any ther technology issues, even though there are places closer to me.

Can't say enough nice things about my experience with Oxon IT, I spilled liquid on my Macbook Pro and Oxon IT took it in the next day for a full check and clean. I assumed it was a goner as it was directly onto the keyboard and into the interior. Great value for money, quick, professional, easy to drop off and very thorough. They went through all my options, repair costs, potential issues, etc. My go-to place for any IT problems from now on, I literally can't thank them enough. And yes, it's working pretty much 100%!

I spilled coffee on my husband's fairly new laptop, which then stopped working. I took the laptop to Naveed who explained the process very clearly and was very honest about the chances of it working again, once cleared etc. The service was very quick. I got a call the following day to say that it's fixable but will cost a bit more to fix the circuit. I had the laptop back within 4 days (only because it was the weekend). It was good as new! I dropped my laptop and it hit the corner of my desk, so there was a hole in the back of my laptop.. I couldn't turn it on ( the power light was flashing, but nothing on the screen appeared). I thought that I would have to buy a new laptop, but Naveed managed to repair it! I'm very grateful for this!! The service is very quick - I left my laptop with them on Wednesday, after 2 hours they called me to say what needed to be repaired and on Friday it was ready to pick up. I was desperate, my iMac was playing up after 9 years of uninterrupted use. I took it over to Oxon IT support on Saturday. I was met with politeness and concern. I watched as the owner plugged in the computer and then told me what the likely problem was and the chances of receiving precious documents. It needed a new hard drive. I got a phone call Monday, went over to find it was running like a new machine, all data retrieved and superb explanation given in language a lay person can understand. Naveed at Oxon IT had my computer back to me the same day I brought it in. The job was fairly easy ( a hard drive swap and a data transfer ). He did a good job and went above and beyond the call of duty and cleaned the inside and outside of my computer super well. He was also very patient with me when I did not fully understand all aspects of the data transfer. I will absolutely bring my computer back if I ever have any additional problems/upgrades.

Firstly, Naveed is very friendly and is clearly an expert with computers- my laptop screen seems to have been fixed perfectly. However I was a little disappointed by the initial service. When I brought my laptop in (there had been a problem with the screen) I was told that I would receive a call later that day. There was no mention of additional costs should I choose not to have the work done. When Naveed called later that day he stated the cost for the screen repair, which was fine. Should I not have the screen fixed there would nevertheless be a charge of £25 - a 'diagnosis fee'. I was surprised at this as nothing had been mentioned and it does not seem like normal practice. I elected to have the work done though and apart from that small hiccup it seems like a great job.

I had a cracked screen on my MacBook and went to Western Computers, the official Apple "reseller" in Oxford. I was told it would take 7 working days (!) before they would give me an estimate for repairs, with no Express Service in case of urgent need - being self-employed, I use the MacBook as my personal office. Terrible customer relations as well, pleasant on the surface but only just. What a contrast with Oxon IT Support! When I rang them up, and explained the situation including its urgency, they checked if the part was in stock and finding it was, told me that if I brought the MacBook in later I could have it by the following day. Indeed, I have just collected it and the screen is as new. Based on this single very good experience, I would strongly recommend that people go to them straight away.

I was about to replace them both but on his recomendation I'll be getting 3 more years good use out of them by simply replacing the hard disks with faster SDD and updating the operating system. Outstanding service. At his initial visit Mr Akhtar, of Oxon IT Support, indicated that the installation of a cat5e Ethernet LAN at my house would meet all my present and future network needs. His quote, which included all materials and labour, was reasonably priced. On the agreed day Mr Akhtar arrived on time and completed the installation efficiently within the time estimated. He cleaned up after he had finished, and, prior to leaving, Mr Akhtar tested the system to my satisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending Oxon IT Support, Oxford.

In terms of services, they have done an excellent job and had also cleaned my full of dust laptop making it look like new. However, for removing and replacing a battery I bought separately the price does seem to be excessively high- £65 for that. I’ll have to mention that the battery was swollen and I was concern that it might become a fire risk at any time. This is why I had accepted to pay such a price. I initially took the laptop to the IT Service just to remove the battery. They told me the price, then I had asked if they could also replace the battery with the one I’ll bring when it arrives. I asked if this will cost me extra, they said it wouldn’t but asked me to make a contribution of as much as I would like to. I’ll give four stars for this service due to their high prices and the subtle potential for tax evasion. I say tax evasion, because I did not receive a receipt and I was asked to pay cash only.
