Very quick shipping, items arrive very well packaged, clean and in great state, all for incredibly competitive prices. I'm all about environment sustainability and this guys make it accessible and at a quality I've seen only at Bargain Hardware. Also, I cannot stress enough the quality of the customer service, had an issue with a switch after a few months from purchase, their warranty covered all expenses (I covered only import fees to the EU), all with the friendliest of communications. I will 100% buy again from them, and also recommend it to everyone in need of great, refurbished gear, for their homelab, business or home.

I was in urgent need of a server to upgrade the old, outdated one that was hosting the CRM used by our organisation. I’d looked at ordering brand new hardware, but after finding BargainHardware initially on eBay, then browsing their website, I gave them a quick call. I spoke with Kris Dickinson who was helpful, knowledgable and very keen to help us - and quickly. I placed and paid for the order at 1pm and we collected the built machine at 9:30am the following day. We had the OS installed same day and had started testing our CRM on the machine the following day. Kris and the team have been super helpful and we’ll definitely be adding them to our approved supplier list. Great Lancashire company, providing a great service and doing a good thing!

They are more than great: they are perfect! As a IT technician/administrator, I did search for 2nd hand/refurbished equipment with a decent price. I recently purchased 4x UK power cables from them for 12 pounds + 13.50 pounds for shipping. To my surprise I receive another invoice of 12.04 euros from UPS to deliver my package. I engaged their support and they said it was stated in their website but it was buried under a small link "read more". I have the option to refuse to pay and the order will be refunded minus the charging fees which doesn't make sense at this point. Update: They got in touch with me and we were able to resolve the situation.

Needed a replacement blade server quickly to replace a dead server. Bargain hardware supplied me with the exact model I required sooner than the expected shipping date. The server arrived professionally packaged. I had an issue with it recognising my Enclosure but that turned out to be the switch I had installed. Bargain suggested a few solutions including swapping the NIC from the old server which was compatible. I did this and the server is working perfectly. Their support team followed up with me quickly and I am very happy with the response and service I have received. Very impressed and will definitely be using them again for future server purchases.

It's never easy to buy from Internet as you never know what could happen with warranty in case of a problem. Here I can tell you : you can trust them !!!! I got a problem on my server after about 2 months of use and it was really uncertain what could be the cause of the failure... Nevermind, they immediatly proposed me to collect the server in order to proceed with the repair in their repairshop, but after some investigations on my side I came to the conclusion that it might be the motherboard who had a failure. They simply send me another one (UPS fast delivery), I replaced it and the case was solved ! Excellent communication, very open to find the best solution, fast and efficient. What else ? I actually found Bargain Hardware via eBay but the server that I wanted wasn't quite to the spec that I wanted (barebones) I contacted BH via E-Mail and within an hour Sam had built me a server to the exact spec that I wanted for a fantastic price. The server arrived within 48-hours but sadly had a fault with the second socket. After testing two CPU types and pairs. Ben from support advised that I take some pictures and that he'd get back to me. Within an hour the RMA was raised and they sent out an entire server for me to take the motherboard out of to place in my server. (Which I received within 24 hours.) This of course fixed the problem. Fantastic from start to finish going above and beyond even when a fault was found. I've recommended BH to a few friends etc and will definitely come back myself for sure!

Love the fact that you can spec your machine out as you want. Can also leave out SSDs and video cards and supply these yourselves. Not having to buy power cables a bonus as we have them coming out of our ears at work. We have bought a pile of T5500s. All been very reliable apart fropm one power unit which Bargain Hardware replaced outside warranty :). We also had an issue with one of units being very slow. Ben gave me a link to a utility that enabled Ben to point out that the SSD drive had issues. SSD drive replaced and problem fixed. Love the fact that in an age when the UK is at the top of the European league in throwing out electronic goods that there are businesses like Bargain Hardware doing there bit to recycle.... just got to get my old Sebo hoover fixed now :(

I ordered a DL380 G9 and the shipping cost to another EU country was very great (if I try to order small things from UK with shipping to another country, it would end up being 10 times more expensive than it was to ship the server). Server arrived in good conditions and it's working great. The only thing I would have loved if it had is a PCIe riser (or however they are called), as it's quite hard to use pcie cards without a riser, but that is not a big problem tho and can still be done with a little tinkering and creativity.

Purchased a dell poweredge r710 build with additional sas 3tb hard drives. Rack was mint condition even though its refurbished and delivery was well informed. Even had an issue after I moved it the unit didn't power up, contacted support who got back very swiftly, turns out one of the riser cards wasn't seated right. Brilliant service, ordered on the Monday, delivered on the Thursday. DPD online tracking is excellent pinpointing exactly where my delivery was, unlike some competitors who give you between 8 and 6. Was a slight problem, one of the drive caddies had been supplied incorrectly, 2 minutes online chat and a replacement was in the post arriving on the Saturday. Its bit overkill for a home server but have 2012 R2 installed so will see how it goes.

I recently bought a Z840 from Bargain Hardware and was very pleased with it. It arrived in excellent time and in excellent condition - very clean outside and very tidy inside. I had ordered a twin Xeon configuration with 12 cores and 24 threads each giving me a total of 24 cores and 48 threads. With 128GB RAM and I feel this machine can cope with almost anything. I added 3 Samsung SSDs in a RAID 0 array which gave me a nominal 1.5TB SSD running at approx 1.5GB/Sec and a 1TB Samsung 970 NVME M.2 and also a 250GB Samsung 250GB NVME M.2. I also added an NVIDIA 1050Ti video card. With Win 10 installed I found that, although not embedded, the Samsung NVME M.2s allowed me to boot into the 250GB one. This gave me a machine which now runs at GB speeds and the Win 10 OS is now installed onto a drive running at 3.5GB/Sec read and 2.5GB/Sec write. Running Cinebench 20 this machine is now rated as faster than a Ryzen Threadripper with the video card running at about 90fps. The machine is very quiet and I am very pleased with the excellent quality and fast delivery times from Bargain Hardware. This is the second machine I have ordered from them and it won't be the last.

Full and frank: I purchased two Proliant DL380 g7 units. Dual Xeon X5650, 72GB DDR3, 8x 300GB SFF SAS 10k and a couple of extra NICs in each. Banking security initially blocked the transaction. I verified it with the bank, then called BH to get the sale through. Great service from them in resolving that issue. Then shipping was delayed by a day when a DIMM failed QC. This happens with refurbished equipment. Obviously they rectified this before shipping. This delay gave me the chance to cheekily change my order slightly, swapping the extra NICs out for an Intel X520-DA2 Dual Port 10Gb Ethernet SFP+ adapter in each unit. This should have incurred an extra £40 but BH waved that to make up for the inconvenience caused by the delay; I'd arranged to work from home and now had to for a second day. They even threw in 4x 3m Cisco branded SFP+ cables. I am happy with the price I paid, the condition, especially packaging, that they arrived in and the 90 day warranty they provide. Two minor issues, mentioned above, one from my side (payment) and a bit of bad luck from their side (faulty DIMM delaying shipment), both dealt with superbly. I can only praise and recommend BH, based on my own experience. Very impressed.
