They let me know what was possibly wrong with my laptop, along with the repairs depending on the issue itself. S. K.I phoned Jordan about my Toshiba Satellite C55-A running slow. He advised a hard drive upgrade to a SSD rather than more RAM. He also loaded a new Windows 10 and MS office for a very good price. All was done from drop off in the evening and it was ready 2pm the next day.
My laptop now performs better than new. Excellent service.
Don't be concerned that he works from home as this is the only way anyone could do this work for the price.

I was in Preston visiting a friend and my laptop was not turning on properly. My friend told me they used Laptop Repair Base before and recommended I gave it a try, I was not let down! The service was very quick (I was told it would take a few hours but within 30 minutes it was done), and the service was also a very reasonable price compared to the competition who quoted over £20 more. If you need a laptop repaired in Preston, this is the place to go!

They didn't have the keyboard in stock at the time, but they ordered a new one next day using Prime. They actually only charged me £8 for the keyboard and £10 to fit it. I only ended up paying £18 for a keyboard and fitting! What an excellent service provided by Jordan who went out of his way to help me and at such a ridiculously low price!

G. B.I came to Jordan to get my laptop repaired. The HDD hard drive had spun it's last spin and given up, jeopardising my Masters thesis in the process as it was stuck on the laptops hard drive. Not only was my HDD hard drive replaced with a new SSD hard drive but my data and files were recovered and backed up onto an external drive. Jordan also went to the trouble of upgrading me to Windows 10 and added in a 2TB external drive to the deal so that I could have a place to keep my data and files outside of my inbuilt hard drive. The repair took only 2 days and now I can continue with my thesis work. The price was also very reasonable for the services rendered and the external drive included. Throughout the process I was kept informed of what work needed to be done and how long it would reasonably take. I was also reassured that the valuable files and data would be recovered and restored. I would recommend Jordan's services to anyone.

T. C.The charging port on my Acer laptop stopped working, so my laptop was unable to charge. I dropped by Laptop Repair Base Preston to see what they could do to fix this problem. As soon as I arrived I received immediate attention and a speedy service, they picked up the laptop, inspected it, got the part, and fitted it there and then.
I went for a bite to eat at the local Maccies while they tended to my laptop. In the space of 30 mins they fixed the problem and only charged me for the labor, I was given the part for free! Overall outstanding service and the price was extremely reasonable!
Finally, my laptop is now back to normal and charging correctly! No more holding the charger in place to charge it!
