Have taken my PC twice now. First time was very, very quick at re-assembly to add some new parts in for me. Second time a little longer due to a motherboard issue (my own fault of braking and just waiting for the part). Service was fantastic, no issue ringing up just for an update and PC is now running better than ever. I actually come from Wigan to drop the machine here, slightly out my route to work but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Cannot thank the guys at The computer shop enough, who actually saved Christmas for us, our son’s gaming pc broke 4 days before Christmas and most of his presents involved this pc, the guys worked tirelessly to fix it before Christmas and at 7.30 pm on Christmas Eve after giving up any hope we got a phone call to say it was ready!!!! Could not believe it, those guys give exceptional service and are so helpful. I would recommend the shop to anyone!! Great value and fantastic customer service. Having previously used The Computer Shop many years ago and being very happy with the service provided there was only one place to go when my hard drive packed in. It was dropped off at 11 and back by 16:00 like a brand new computer at a very decent price. I would recommend using them to anyone. I intend returning to purchase my next computer from these guys rather than go through the over selling of the main stream suppliers. Many thanks for getting me back up and running within a day!!!!

Hinge snapped with my MSI laptop 3 months ago and within that time period went to multiple computer repair shops to see if they could possibly do anything about it. After multiple long winded conversions the conclusion was always no but after a while of giving up and letting my laptop deteriorate further I thought I would give it one more shot and I'm so glad I did. The staff were very polite, helpful and kept in touch with me the whole time and once I picked up my fully refurbished laptop and gave them the money I felt like I was robbing them with the service I received. Highly recommended.

I brought in 2 of my old broken laptops. I was hoping to clean then and try to save at least one for my son to use for leaning during lockdown. The staff were very friendly and pacient and managed to get both laptops working again along with fixing disk drive. They are now working great and have saved me the cost of buying new laptops. I took my laptop into the Computer Shop as it was functioning poorly. I was unable to use Word or Chrome efficiently which, is essential for me and my work. I found Carl at the Computer Shop very efficient, professional and friendly. My laptop came back with freed up memory. Carl had also identified numerous viruses which I had no clue about (which could have affected my privacy and personal information / security). It is now working more efficient than ever. Carl also took the time to explain (in layman's terms) what had been wrong. so I can understand in the future how to free up memory and protect my security online. I am not tech savvy at all, and I thank Carl for explaining the issues clearly to me. I would highly recommend The Computer Shop.

Excellent service! I had an issue with my gaming PC which I couldn't resolve. The company I bought it from were unable to fix the issue, so I decided to take it to The Computer Shop to see if they could do anything.... The service was fantastic and the issue was resolved. With grandchildren not quite old enough to advise ( <5 yrs old!), I twice needed iPad help over the last couple of years. These guys fixed in seconds, didn’t compound my innate feeling of idiocy, and wouldn’t charge. So when my husband and I were renewing both iPad and PC it was the natural place to go. If you are like us and all the technical jargon included in the advice goes way over your head, chill/meditate/furrow your brow and pretend - but just take their final advice- they know their stuff, will tailor equipment to your needs and even recommend good quality used products where relevant. Don’t hesitate!

Called up early Saturday morning with a PC Issue which I was personally unable to solve in my computer. Asked if they'll handle my computer which I made myself, they said absolutely fine. Amazing service and communication I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Got what we believed to be the issue fixed and even stayed open an hour and half past closing times just so I could retrieve my computer the same day! Absolutely amazing highly recommend for any computer issues they'll even change parts of your computer for you (for a handling fee which is fairs) as said, couldn't ask for anything better.

Really honest and genuine business! Was given a price of £60 just to LOOK at my laptop at Curry's, The Computer Shop had mine fixed in a day for only £45 in total. Talked it through with me and explained what the problem likely was and gave me a price before I left the shop and reminded me before pick up so no nasty surprises like I have experienced before elsewhere. Really impressed and will definitely recommend to others and use again if needed in the future!

Excellent services, myself not being very computer literate I just dropped it off and told him the problem, got it back less than 24hrs later all sorted better than it was when I bought it just a few months ago. Fantastic service. My son couldn’t remember his password so I took his laptop to place in town and they said they could do it for 60 quid but he would lose all his work. I then took it to computer shop lostock hall and he did it for 20 quid and dan didn’t lose any work. I then asked him how much for a decent laptop too last about a year for dan who is at uni he told me he could get the original laptop working good for 45 quid. Very honest guy, great service. Would highly recommend. No more getting ripped off. Thanks

Being one of those middle aged women who just missed out on the techno age at school and whose computer savvy kids have flown the nest, I was at a loss when my laptop died. I was forced to use the Internet on my rubbish phone (another story) which is only ever used for making and taking calls, and the odd text, to Google a computer repair shop in my area. I was gobsmacked at how many came up, more closer to where I live, but the reviews for The Computer Shop in Lostock Hall warmed my cockles. I visited without appointment to be met by a very smiley young man with a beard. Unfortunately I don't know his name, I didn't like to ask. Anyhoo, he took my lappy (oh yeah) into the back and checked it out. He made a diagnosis there and then, ordered the part and said he would call the following day. When I collected it the following afternoon it was all fixed and only cost £30. He didn't even charge for the diagnostics but threw lots of very useful advice in too! They also sell desktop and laptop computers along with all the leads and accessories you could need. You can park for free in any of the side roads. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this small business and I'll certainly be back. Happy computer + happy me = life is good!

Been using computer shop lostock hall for 6 years. The service is always excellent and thorough. Recently took 3 laptops for bullguard security renewal and general service and clean up. Can't fault the service once again second to none and any queries answered thoroughly. Many accessories for sale as well including laptops.

Great service from the Computer Shop. Today, I took my Lenovo in which was not powering up and the problem was diagnosed as being the system board. This was after 3 previous compute repair stores had failed to identify the problem. Also, for the half-hour check there was no charge made!
