After a bad experience at iRepair, I did some research and saw the good reviews for Uni Computers and I'm now glad I did a bit of research for this second repair to replace my Samsung smartphone screen. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and use OEM parts, none of this glueing in aftermarket tat nonsense. I picked my phone up and it now looks brand new. Friendly, competitive pricing (similar price to glue-in tat), and they care about what they are doing for you. What more could you ask for? So I'd definitely recommend. Thanks Uni Computers!

My computer had a small electrical fire inside the tower last night, and I was recommended Uni Computers by multiple friends. Liviu identified the problem right away (graphics card burnt a hole in itself and scorched the wifi card) and replaced it with a new graphics card. Problem solved within the hour and very cheaply, clearly very knowledgeable about tech. Thanks so much, you're a life saver! :D

Incredible service. Even in full lockdown, and after Brexit, the service was cheap, quick and very accomodating. I nearly tore my screen off my laptop by dropping it, and sending it back to Acer would have taken 5 weeks and set me back more than £200. And honestly, who can miss a laptop for that long while working from home? This guy repaired it within 2 hours for £150, and it came back as good as new. Highly recommend

We returned from holiday to a non-operational computer. Their prices are fair and reflect their good service.* My Macbook Pro of 9 years crashed while I was finalising my master dissertation. I was distraught but I remembered a friend told me that Uni Computers were good and fairly priced. Upon arriving, Liv and Zubair were very welcoming and honest with me. They explained what diagnostics would be done and what options/costs I had given each possible solution. I left my laptop with them and they called later in the afternoon to explain the diagnostic results and provide recommendations. They gave my laptop a new lease of life and were able to recover all my files. Especially one very important chapter of my dissertation that I was writing when the laptop crashed. I went in around 11am and my laptop (with a new hard drive, cables and 9 years worth of files) was ready by the morning of the next day. Thanks again to both Liv and Zubair.

If i could rate higher i would! I was so stressed with the issue of my pc and it's so big and heavy that i couldn't bring it to anyone. He carry it to the shop, i can tell he has a passion for this job and i love my pc so i felt relaxed that was in good hands. My problem was blue screen, monitor wouldn't react after, C drive died too, water cooling had to be changed too cause it was a mess. Result? My pc is back and running as a new one, he even made it to not be so noisy, explained everything which i appreciate it very very much, even gave me suggestions plus he brought it to my home as soon as it was ready. I only have good things to say about Uni PCs, took my pc into get it repaired, took a day to get the parts to the shop but had it back that afternooon. The staff know what they're talking about and are very helpful, even suggested upgrades I could make in the future.

When my Laptop stopped working due to a hardware, I checked various stores around town to see how much it would cost to fix it. All places quoted the same figure, but UNI computers not only had the longest warranty, but also explained in detail what they thought the issue was and how they planned to fix it. Not only did it come back working fine, they spend two days free of charge to reinstall the various drivers lost after a previous repair-shop attempted to fix the issues by reinstalling windows. I would recommend them, due to their competency, value and work ethic, to anyone.

I came in because I couldn't get online on my Chrome browser but Mr.Liviu fixed my laptop in a second. And the shop on 2-4 Wokingham Road is really closed to the campus and easy to walk to from my Hall. I got my laptop back in 30 mins. I really appreciate his service and respond. I was worried bringing my Aorus X7 machine for repairs, the laptop hinge was broken and could not close properly, and to fix the hinge the screen would need to be dismantled and could cause more damage. But they sounded professional and knew what they were doing which reassured me. I was very impressed with their speed, knowledge, professionalism, and honesty. They had managed to dismantle the screen and fixed the hinge and resemble the screen all in 1 day, and the repair cost was cheap. Other stores could have just quoted for new casing without even looking into the problem, which could be expensive and very time consuming. Thank you Uni for catering for my timing and doing such a fantastic job, getting the laptop back the same day was just the icing on the cake. I will definitely recommend you to future clients.

Very good service! Got scammed in a shop at reading oracle,they disconnected my charging port so that i could come back and pay for them purposefully. But at uni computers reading the guy solved it within minutes and was very kind showed me everything. Didnt scam. And really really kind. Recommend to go there for any problems!! I brought my Dell Inspiron in with a broken charging port after finding Uni Computers through Google. I had a SMS a few hours later to tell me it was ready for collection. I checked the laptop and it had been repaired to a high standard. Zubair gave me confidence that he knew his subject and was courteous and easy to talk to. Went in a few days ago with a broken phone. Found myself at UniComputers, after running around town all morning where none of the tech shops would help, and they were absolutely fantastic. The guys in there really know their stuff and are so happy to help. They did everything they could - taking the phone apart to find the problem and it was backed up within a couple of hours. Expected it to be very expensive with the amount of time they had spent on it but yet again I was surprised! Absolute lifesavers! Will definitely go there first next time I have any issues with technology, so much better than any of the chains around.

Zubair Zaman and his colleague have again shown their expertise and excellent service: this time with my Huawei P10 lite phone. They replaced the usb charging point. They even had the special equiprment to demonstrate that my old usb lead could not pass enough current to charge a modern phone and helped me to realise that this why I ended up breaking my phone. Last year I went in to ask about a repair to an old laptop and they convinced me that it was much better to buy a two year old top of the range Dell with solid state drive. They transferred all my data from the faulty drive as part of the deal. I was very pleased.

Honest. Fast. Outstanding service. My laptop was super slow and would freeze in the middle of typing an essay; it would take 10 min to restart. UniComputers fixed it! I dropped off my laptop at UniComputers on a Wednesday at 5 pm (close at 6 pm) and received a text message at 9:40 am (next day) that it is ready for pick up . That's fast! The laptop received a new SSD hard drive, the fan was cleaned and a new operating system installed and all my files transferred. My 'new' laptop takes less than 30 seconds to boot...I'm very happy! I have an Aorus x7 v2 gaming laptop, the screen suddenly went crazy, took it to some IT guys at a school I work at, after 2hrs they still couldnt say what was causing the issue. Then took it PC world/currys, who said the laptop was too specialised for them and recommended Uni computers. So next I took it to these guys, who said they were 90% sure it was a screen fault as soon as I told them the story. They then fixed it a lot quicker than expected, espcially given the screen replacement would need to be delivered and they even cleaned up the mess me and my colleagues made. Highly recommend them, good guys who know their stuff.
