An outstanding customer experience. Thank you to Curtis and his colleagues for looking after me. I turned up with no appointment on a particularly busy day and in fairness to the staff who were on their feet from customer to customer a four hour wait was the price I paid for no appointment. That being said by the time I was seen by an expert and they couldn’t do enough to ensure I walked away happy.
More of the same! Please Apple have more staff available. That being said, I have walked away happy and appreciate the professionalism and care offered by all staff!

My experience at Apple Southampton today was 1st Class. I was greeted immediately by Sean who, in effect , stayed with me during my 2 1/4 hour visit. Initially he diagnosed my storage issue on my existing phone, sorted it and then helped me decide whether I wanted to upgrade. Under no pressure, I decided to do so. He then arranged for his colleagues to take me through the entire transfer and set up process. His colleagues were as equally solicitous and helpful. Just how a business should be run. Congratulations!

Fine I suppose. Took ages for my genius person to come to my pre booked appointment only to tell me they dont know what happened with my device. They were nice but like I took a £10 train to get there. Maybe others had better luck.

I found the service to be good, I went in without an appointment browsed then was asked if I needed help I said I would like to talk to someone and they offered an appointment for 10 minutes later - I browsed some more they reassured me it wouldn’t be long til I was seen, and that directed me where to wait and then I was served by a really helpful and pleasant young man who helped me make up my mind! Giving 4 stars just because of wait but actually could have 5 as 10 mins is not a lot for unplanned visit!

Came in the Apple store with my wife to purchase a new IPhone 13 Pro. Louise who served us was fantastic. She talked us through the benefits from the 13 and the 13pro. Wife decided to go for the 13pro.
Louise went out of her way to make sure my wife's phone was ready to go. To the point where she delayed her lunch. For this reason I give the review 5 stairs was for her service. Unfortunately I had to visit the store as I had cracked my iPhone7 screen. I booked a Genius appointment a couple of days before heading down. When I got there, I was checked in and seen within 5 minutes.
The screen was repaired in an hour and a half. It was even done cheaper than a high street shop quote I had had.

I took my laptop here when the haptic feedback stopped working. The staff were helpful, listened carefully to what I said, and tried various procedures to get it working. In the end they sent it off for repair. Impressive that all this was without direct cost to me.

recently went in to buy an iMac during Black Friday. I was assigned to Jack, from the tech repairs team to help me with my purchase. I can only sing Jack's praises, he's an asset to Apple - helped me through the buying purchase, as well as all the questions I had, and was very insightful, came away with a great experience overall. As always, the quality of apple products is brilliant, but does come with a price tag for it, but you do also get a good level of service also.

I am leaving a 5-star review purely on the basis of the outstanding service I received from Charlie today when purchasing a new iPhone. Charlie went far overboard and provided a level of customer service that you do not see often. He replaced the screen protector that he installed because it had a dust particle trapped underneath, despite it being after his shift had finished and he had a lift waiting for him! I feel that it is necessary to give credit to people like Charlie who don’t just do the minimum required, so, I hope Charlie gets to read my review so that he can be proud of the work he does.
There is a but…this review would have been 1-star if I had not met Charlie, as the security staff and check-in person were all extremely short and somewhat unfriendly. I’ve had better interactions with aggressive border control staff in the USA. The Apple store is not an international border.
Still, thanks to Charlie my faith is restored and I’m happy overall.

I received a very welcoming and professional service from part of all staff I spoke with. I had an issue with the camera on my phone and they were very quick to replace it.
After a few minutes, I noticed that the problem wasn't sorted so they replaced the device. Staff was always understanding and polite.
Store follows all the safety guidelines, have a few hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the store and team is prepared with facial covering, wipes for the devices and gloves for staff.
I had no issues and for a busy store like Apple their service ended up being fast and efficient.

I purchased a Mac Book Pro from the Apple website. The Mac Book Pro had an internal error, I had several calls with Apple agents to find that I needed to bring it into a store to have it fixed. Initially, when I took the laptop for repair, the staff overlooked the problem, called me up a day later to come to collect the laptop to find that it was still with the same error. This was very frustrating, & disappointing at the same time. I contacted them, and they were very shocked, to say the least, it surprised me to find that they did not find my error until I took it back the second time. I had a call within 15 minutes of dropping it off. The staff member named Kyle, (who may have the wrong name) stepped up, he told me that they hadn't seen this error before, it was something majorly wrong with the laptop. To remedy the situation, Kyle arranged for me to receive a brand new Mac Book with the M1 Chip because he had remembered that I had said in an earlier conversation, that it was the original one I wanted, but they had sold out at the time of purchase so I ended up with the version I didn't want. Kyle offered me the ultimate solution. I couldn't be more happier with this result. A major upgrade, it was annoying having to drive to Southampton a few times, but thanks to Kyle, my issue was resolved.

Annoying that you can't just go in. You have to queue outside and they give you a time slot as to when you can come and purchase something which means you're then walking around west Quay aimlessly. Then when it is your time, you have to go and queue in the shop until someone serves you. The experience reaffirmed that Android is the way to go!

Fair play to the Apple Store. Had a screen repair and battery swap on an iPhone 7 a couple of weeks back and it transpires the microphones on this handset packed up. This wasn't the fault it originally went in for and the phone was out of warranty.
Expecting to spend hundreds more on further repairs to this phone they told me that the problem was unrelated to the screen/battery swap but since this was a known issue with certain iPhone 7s they will give me a complete new phone free of charge. Now that's capitalism in action. Great Job!

In today’s society we are very quick to criticise but a bit slow to congratulate on a job very well done , well I would like to congratulate Apple in West quay.
I developed an issue with my iPhone and I tried all the online fix it’s but had no joy, so I decided to take my phone into Apple , I originally thought my phone had died and was looking to purchase another one , when I arrived there was a long queue to enter the store ( due to Covid ) and a gentleman who asked about my query ( can’t remember his name which is a shame ) , I explained what the issue was and he started to have a look at my phone . I was expecting to have to join the queue and under normal circumstances I would have been more than happy but I had lost my father the day before , about 10 mins after we lost him my phone went into meltdown mode which is frustrating in normal circumstances but even worse in these particular circumstances! I explained I just needed to get a new phone or if they can fix the issue great but I just needed something done ASAP .
The gent was great , he realised what I had done ( somehow turned on my accessibility mode ) but still had problems turning it off etc , he got others involved who were busy with other people and soon found another gent who was able to fix the issue , they were all very friendly , understanding and very helpful . Thank you all again .

I went to Apple Soton and was demonstrated an iMac which I subsequently purchased however, the demo was done with the magic touch pad which I assumed came with the iMac but this was not the case, I was not given the option by the Apple demonstrator to have this and now I have to wait until they post or deliver that to me! Yes, it's small and permanently overcrowded, but on my last two visits I had a really good experience. On the first occasion, when I bought a new iPhone, I wasn't kept hanging about and the whole thing was efficiently set up for me on the spot; on the second, when I'd lost the phone and came in to ask for advice, again I wasn't kept waiting, and the person dealing with me (on a very busy Saturday afternoon) not only managed to locate the missing phone for me but showed admirable patience in dealing with my inability to remember passwords and my incompetence in filling in online forms. Brought my computer to repair and got an estimate of 400 pound. the computer was still relative new so I accepted the estimate on the condition it would be repairable. Got an email a week later to go to collect the computer that was ready and fixed. paid 450 pound to arrive home and discover it was still broken exactly as before. had to go back to the shop, even if i explained the situation they put me in two hours waiting list , so i had to ask for a manager to have my situation looked up and fixed . they had no idea what happened and i had to provide all the information about what they should have done and what i paid, so big trouble , no nice situation that eventually got fixed

Always had helpful staff and prepared to go out of their way to help me. Even had my five year old Mac fixed for free, unexpectedly, when the mother board failed. This is due to uk law that any electrical appliance must last for at least six years!! And true to their word they fixed it free. Booked an appointment at the Genius Bar as I had speaker issues with my iPhone and was seen around 2 hours later. Phone was tested and I had blown my speaker and they sent it in for repair and it was free thanks to warranty. They gave me a new phone and it only took them 2 hours, although I picked it up 3 and a half hours later. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff!

As a business and personal customer, over over 5 years now, I have visited the Apple store a vast number of times over this time, and the experience from day 1 has been superb. Ill go as far as saying its even improved over the years as the staff become more familiar with their products and fault finding, sand they are always organised, helpful, and professional in their approach towards me.
I love Apple products in all honesty, and maybe this is why I am biased as I currently own the following:

As you can see from my list of tech I own I love my toys, and having tried to go over to ‘the dark side’ and attempt to work with Samsung devices (although very nice indeed) I just couldn’t stay away from Apple.
The store layout is superb too, with seating areas all around the store for technical assistance, and also for the training sessions they provide, which I did sit through whilst waiting once, and the panels they had on the wall for visuals were AMAZING - Very Apple!!
I look forward to my next visit to the store on the release of the next round of technology, knowing that each visit to the store will assist in me continuing to return, to spend my hard earned cash on their products!!

I had an issue with the GPS on my iPhone 6 which I have had for over 20 months. They immediately gave me a replacement handset which I was very surprised at given the length of time I have had it. I have never had a problem with Apple customer service and find that it is normally first class,. There are plenty of other companies out there that could learn from Apple,

Visited this store on the Sunday before Christmas. Despite the store being extremely busy we were seen my a member of staff with a few minutes of being there.
Victoria was very knowledgeable on all the apple products that my wife and I asked her about. She demonstrated the Apple Watch and the Apple HomePod to us as they are products they we weren’t familiar with. We went ahead and purchased both.
I had questions in regards to the iPhone upgrade program, AppleCare and the new Mac as mine is getting a little old and Victoria answered them all. Again demonstrating her knowledge on Apple products.
We never once felt rushed or pushed to buy anything.
Overall a perfect experience with a great member of staff.

I have had a couple of bad experiences at this particular Apple store. One of them involved me being interested in the (brand new at the time) iPhone X, and an Apple employee coming up to me and saying “I wouldn’t get this, the back is glass it scratches so easily”. What kind of an Apple employee says that? The same day, a different Apple employee called my iPhone 7 useless. Again, what kind of Apple employee calls their own product useless? Not good. Recently I had a battery replaced and had a really good experience. But from past experiences I have to say it is the worst Apple store I have visited... and I love Apple.

Not happy today. I came in with an Apple Watch 1st gen at 12:00. Problem: swollen battery (common watch issue) Got an appointment for 14:50, received a txt at 14:08 that I can come in. Came in in 5 and got seen at 15:15. The guy told us first it would take 4 days to repair. When I got seen by a a tech guy (can't fault him) I was told 2 weeks. I asked if I could upgrade to a non-faulty model and pay extra: "not possible". So two weeks without a watch now, despite coming with a recall fault and wanting to pay more and upgrade. They will send the same 'problem' watch repaired back in 2 weeks. Apparently it goes to the Netherlands, gets repaired there and is then shipped back to the UK. It must cost more than a new watch at cost. Not good on Apple.
UPDATE: received an email after just 2 days that the replacement watch has been shipped.

An amazing experience, speaking on behalf of my girlfriend she'd been having issues with her Apple Watch connecting to her iPhone. It dropped connection every now and then which proved to be quite annoying when receiving texts etc.
Although there were several visits the team at Apple in my opinion have done their upmost and beyond in assisting and getting it sorted.
We even met Graeme the manager who was very sympathetic and wanted to see us before we left to make sure everything was sorted.
Every member of the team that we met was happy and you could tell that they genuinely wanted to get it sorted.
In the end it turned out to be a hardware issue on the iPhone (very rare indeed) so a replacement was sorted there and then. We now have everything working as it should be!

I have used this apple store 3 times in the past year not to purchase items but to have them repaired.
I had my partners iPhone 6s and also my iPhone 6s and Macbook Pro Retina repaired by them all on separate occasions. One phone needed a new screen and the other needed a new screen + front and back cameras (Drop Damage) which where dealt with very quickly and where returned to me within 2 hours.
My Macbook funny enough needed a new Retina Display (£669) but I was able to get this replaced under EU Consumer Law for no cost at all. I was told this would take 7-10 working days to get sorted and the earliest I would hear back from them was within 3-5 days... much to my surprise I received my laptop back with a brand new screen in under 5 hours!!!
All the staff are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommending booking an appointment or turning up at 9am when they open to get seen quickly and efficiently as they do get very busy very fast!

I was waiting for the store to open (Friday 13th Feb) and explained that I didn't have an appointment that I'd got up early and travelled miles to get there in the hope of them fitting me in. They did indeed, within the hour! I came back 5 minutes early for my appointment and was seen immediately. The guy took one look at the iphone 6 and replaced in with a new one. No 'faffing' or quibbling. All in all a 5 star service. Treat people the way you wish to be treated is all I can say. I was polite and friendly and the staff bent over backwards to help.

My one to one agreement has just expired. It has been a wonderful opportunity to meet the most fantastic team of experts over the years. This constitutes great tuition value way exceeding the hight cost of purchasing a Mac as opposed to a PC. I have been able to expand my knowledge with these brilliant imaginative people who really have been able to tailor the information to my particular teaching/artistic needs.

The Genius could not fix my phone but rather than just trying to sell me one he went through all my options and this jogged my memory - I pay for phone insurance through my bank! Boom - I contacted them and they organised a replacement through their service (after paying for the excess which was cheaper than what Apple could offer me!)

I have noted with disappointment some of the pretty severe and highly negative comments on the review site.
Whilst I have no reason to doubt their veracity, I wonder whether some are registered by those who look upon West Quay as a 'Supermarket' where they can drop in at will and expect to be assisted straightaway with any issue.
It is not unusual whilst waiting, to see those who breeze in and adopt a mildly aggressive attitude when they cannot simply 'jump the queue! There is a system which allows you to set up a pre arranged visit...
My wife and I have previously purchased i - pads and an i - phone at Wesr Quay and the standard of service has been brilliant! Totally customer focussed, with excellent guidance and genuine courtesy.
The test is always when things go 'pear shaped'!
I have just had the mis - fortune of my own i - pad locking up. Despite lengthy telephone assistance, the issue could not be resolved by Apple over the telephone.
I went down on spec' to West Quay, explained my difficulty and despite being very pressed, they explained that if I was happy to wait, they would do all they could to try and get one of the 'Genius' technicians to speak to me.
Only 35 minutes later I was introduced to Jake Barinov one of the 'genius' expert technicians.
I had already undertaken a full 'back up' and he undertook a complete reset. Time was not an issue to him because he was organised and whilst my machine was working through 'download' he was able to attend to other customers.
The 'pad' was still very stubborn suggesting that something was impeding the full download and making the system very slow. A second visit to West Quay a few days later and with a patient wait of around an hour they I was able to team with Jake once again.
Sorted!
Oh, by the way - and imagine just how many customers the technicians see in a day, Jake had a clear recall of dealing with my wife and I previously. Yes, he did because he handled the i - phone sale for my wife a year earlier!
