Once again, Computer Solutions has come to our rescue. Quick to respond and helpful whether remotely or through house visit. James takes time to explain what he is doing (with seemingly endless patience) and will always follow up if further help is needed down the line. Knowledgable and full of initiative. When I was at home in Hungary, I cleaned my laptop via Laptopszaki (a hungarian computer repair company) and then the fan stopped. Since the same thing happened during the previous cleaning (they put it together incorrectly), so I tried to contact them over the phone, but without investigation, they stated that the fan was broken and they couldn’t even replace it because they didn’t have parts and couldn’t get it. Luckily, Computer Soltions helped me even then, so I turned to them with confidence now and I didn’t have to be disappointed. Although they had moved out of Winchester, so there was no option for us to just walk in the store (what I didn’t know), yet they were kind and helpful, even though I obviously caused them extra trouble. I don’t even get home much, and I’ve already been called that unfortunately the fan in my laptop (which is more than 7 years old), has really broken down and needs to be replaced, which was immediately ordered and I got informed of the expected arrival time as well. In the meantime, due to Covid, one of their colleagues fell ill, so the assembly was a bit delayed, because they didn't let go of the quality, and the Hungarian-language system did not make their situation any easier. The machine was fully inspected and since wifi was not connected to one of the two routers, they were not satisfied with the end result yet, but since there was no problem with the connection to my home network so far, we agreed to return it to me (within a few hours!). When I got it, they waited patiently for me to check the wifi, and they left only after they make sure everything was working fine, and even then they said if there is any problem, dont hesitate to contact them. Really quality service, they exceeded all my expectations - again.

My computer wouldn't turn on after tripping the electrics. I suspected it was a PSU problem which Christian at Computer Solutions confirmed. He fitted a temporary one so I could collect my PC, and then when my PSU was replaced under warranty, I took it back to the shop and he fitted it in the same day. Problem with my Outlook not opening and lack of disk space. The matter was dealt with immediately in a professional manner and the problem was explained to me. Further recommendations were also provided to increase disk space and to ensure that the latest version of Outlook be upgraded. I have no hesitation in recommending Computer Solutions. Excellent service. I had an issue with a desktop PC, which they diagnosed quickly. They then advised me it would cost me a lot less to order the part myself, as for some daft reason trade prices are a lot higher than consumer prices for the part. Then I dropped the part off to them today (which was a replacement motherboard) and I had the call to tell me it was fixed little more than an hour later. Thanks to Diego who did a sterling job, keeping me informed. Highly recommended.

I took my laptop in because I had a few screws loose (literally, not metaphorically...). Matt was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided professional advice and fixed the computer in a jiffy. He explained their other services and it seems like a great store. The kind of small businesses we should all be supporting before running straight to PC World. He also mentioned that they have a program to take used PCs and provide training to homeless / unemployed people to give them another chance. Excellent service: fast, reliable, considerate and James was willing to expIain things to someone who is not very computer literate. I have an old iMac that had slowed down to an irritating degree. James changed the old disc drive to a solid state drive and it now performs as fast as my relatively new laptop. Were I to have bought a new machine, it would have cost £700:00 more than I paid Computer Solutions for the job.

Billy at Computer Solutions Just demonstrated why Computer Solutions in Winchester have such a good reputation. I was upgrading my ancient MacBook to one more up to date, his advice was given quickly, willingly and in language that I understood. I already knew the new machine needed memory, OS and storage upgrades but Billy gave me options to save money by buying the new hardware myself and even took me to the website with the right items leaving me to do very little. A great service, I will definitely recommend CS to others and use them in the future.

Excellent service! The graphics card in my ancient Windows XP computer had failed, and the hard drive was making some terrible noises. Both were replaced within two days and they managed to save all my data and software and reinstall it onto a new solid state hard drive, which was a great relief to me, and all done at a cost which was much less than I'd expected.

I've had a couple of repairs completed by Computer Solutions, both of which were reasonably priced, completed quickly and with excellent communication and service. I had a very small issue I needed assistance with on Saturday, which took all of 2 minutes to rectify and charged only whatever change I had on me to put in the charity tin. Really great service!

Took my computer in to be 'cleaned ', as it was running slow with virus problems. They charged me £60 to wipe my disc, so I have had to reload my email browser, so have lost all my addresses, and I have had to reload Office, as it came with the laptop some years ago I have had to buy a new licence and get someone to reload it. A very expensive and trying experience. Since writing this they have been in touch, and been very helpful and reinstalled Office and got my printer working again. Work still in process on the email addresses and saved email archive, but now up and running again.

I have a 9 year old laptop, now running windows 7, set up to run exactly as I like it but with the drive 90%+ full. I am a user, not an expert, and do not want to have to set up a new computer. Computer Solutions advised getting a 250GB solid state drive which they could fit with an exact copy of all my systems. This they did within the day for £60 and I now have my machine working perfectly and with much more space. Excellent help.

CS responded brilliantly when my laptop crashed after I had tried to uninstall Windows 10 and re-install Windows 7. They carefully explained my options and the pros and cons of buying a new laptop or replacing the hard-drive on the existing one (I took the letter option). They did all the work very quickly and I was back up and running (a lot faster!) within 24 hours. When I collected the laptop Billy took me through Windows 10 in considerable detail and was very generous with his time which was all included within the price I had been quoted. There were teething problems with the new operating system but these were speedily sorted out remotely. I recommend CS very highly.

I took my 2012 Apple iMac in to rescue it after a software update failed to load. I've had to let them know the password to the computer several times and they keep managing to delete it. This is quite frustrating. Now, one week later I've just had a conversation with them and it's not ready but it is getting there. All in all, a fair service but not exceptional.
