For a big chain store I was surprised how good the service was. I purchased an extended guarantee which turned out to be useful as the product stopped working. There was no quibble or debate just instant offers to solve as there wasn't one in stock but was able to get what I wanted instead with polite help all the way. Great service. Went today to buy a new laptop..Great service from Curt who took all the time to explain and assure us of our purchase. We chose to include set up and this was done quickly and efficiently. Yes there was a queue but this was dealt with efficiently and with good humour.

Visited the Truro store to look at an Apple Watch. Unfortunately you cannot try them on for size but I was lucky enough to be served by Shannon who was really knowledgable and also let me try on her own Apple Watch for size! Shannon was so helpful and friendly and deserves a pat on the back Currys! Maybe a Christmas bonus too as resulted in an expensive Apple sale albeit online due to strap availability.

Paid for a hoover online for click and collect .Arrived 4/5 days later to collect the hoover from store,and saw that the hoover had been reduced by £20.00 i asked for a reduction or some good will gesture and was told that there was nothing that could be done as I paid on line 🤔 so basically should of paid in the store,won't be using click and collect again not impressed at all

Ordered item on line, told we had 21 days to see if we're happy but the cooker cannot work properly because some dimensions not given when purchased. Store manager, nu help. Firstly, I should know by now that online and in store are 2 separate bodies, not just Currys, the electrical people. It should not be difficult to change large items when they are not as advertised. Promises are made before a purchase but service poor after sales. This is a trend everywhere now One lady in Currys was friendly and courteous, the man was unhelpful, rude and made it clear, as a customer, I was getting nothing.

We went into PC World to purchase a laptop. The staff member seemed very knowledgeable, he was polite, well mannered and had a few jokes with us. He gave me good information about each price level, also what the difference was. At no point did he try and sell me the most expensive machine in the shop. Infact, he started with the low price range. We brought a HP Pavilion 14" rose gold laptop on Monday 3rd January at lunchtime, unfortunately, I didn't think to get his name. I believe he had dark shortish hair and wore glasses. I would like to express my appreciation for all his help, manners and honesty whilst serving me. Thank you PC World, you have an excellent member of staff in your Treliske, Truro branch!

Brilliant service from the older gentleman on the repair and service desk. Amazing chap and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. The only let down was "Mrs Clipboard" High and mighty pants who was strolling around the store barking orders at her team rather than getting behind a station and doing some work herself. I found this very unprofessional and degrading to her team who were doing the very best they could.

Nice range on offer, but limited on any decent sized laptops. Also 75" LG on display, but not able to show any media for viewing. If you ask, they should be able to put them into display mode. But if you want to see an item before making that online order, best pop into the shops and see exactly what your buying.

I had to travel to Truro Currys as my local Penzance store is having a refit. I have to sort my faulty washing machine and have a look a new freezer. So at first they said I to ring up myself and sort this washing machine out. Mentioned how helpful Penzance store is so I got some help. Would like to mention Harri who was extremely helpful in this whole situation. Definitely a member of staff I'd happily ask for help again if I got stuck.

Went to buy a vacume cleaner. Got fast friendly meet and greet, a sales assistant was introduced very quickly. Ended up with a different make than I thought I wanted, and saved myself money too. All down to the knowledge and advice from our assistant.

While walking around in the store, it was difficult to tell who worked there and might be able to help answer my questions about buying external storage for my computer. We went to the store just to find out about a few products we planned to buy for our new house. After having a thorough and informative demonstration of the Dyson range we were helped by Andy through a variety of electrical goods. Even knowing we had no intention to buy anything in the store that day both store assistants gave us their full attention and plenty of time to ask questions with no pressure to make a sale. Safe to say we will definitely be going back in the future.

Nothing wrong with the store. Plenty of goods, however everything is now so clinical. There doesn't seem to be a customer feel anymore. Very robotic even the staff. Felt very awkward just looking as i felt like i was going to be pounced on any minute. Quite sad considering the staff used to be friendly and helpful without being over the top. Now all white gloss and bright lights and no atmosphere. Not a relaxing visit to enjoy new tech to. Very predatory.

It is one of the few retailers of it's kind in the area. They stock a reasonable selection of goods. The shop is clean and tidy. The staff are helpful, though not always plentiful. We sometimes go there when we want electrical goods. It depends on the cost and availability.

Great place, I'd recently bought a hoover from here and it broke a month later, I took it back with the receipt and with no questions asked they swapped it for a new one. Great service and my new hoover is perfect after 3 months so super happy. Iv also bought laptops and I pods from here and the staff are super helpful and actually know what they're talking about. Visited on Sunday afternoon 2nd July 17. I was really impressed by the product knowledge that the staff displayed. Plus, they were friendly, helpful and patient. I had a gift voucher to spend and didn't know what to get with it. Wandering around the shop I was asked a few times if we needed help, but never in a pushy way. The last person we spoke with 'Nathan' displayed an excellent detailed knowledge of various items and answered a range of technical questions in a clear and precise way. This experience was very positive and blew away any doubts or concerns about shopping there.

An average rating for average customer service. I did a click and collect, partly to get cashback which I wouldn't have got if I just walked in and bought. Think the staff were disgruntled cos they probably don't get any commission that way. Products are good and competitively priced.

In these colvid times, they had limited numbers entering the premises, hand gells, it is as safe as any larger store, I was picking up a pre purchased item, it was a hassle free experience, if needed I would use definitely again, the parking was next to the store as you would expect from an out of town store.

I was met at the door by a courteous and undemanding assistant who politely ascertained what I'd come in for, then called over another assistant to serve me. Cameron, who like me had recently moved into the area, proceeded to guide me through a demanding list of items, remaining attentive, polite and informative, without any of the pushiness or 'attitude' I've come to expect. He enjoyed his job and did it well. At the end of over two hours I left having bought the laptop, tv and phone plus broadband I'd come for. Feeling delighted and happy at what we'd accomplished. If all shopping was as good as this what a wonderful place it would be. I was particularly pleased with the way he took the time to explain everything to me. Nothing of importance was ignored, nor my silly questions. I will definitely come to currys PC world in Truro again. 10 out of 10 for patience and knowledgeable support.

We had a delivery of today of white goods and 2 out 3 of the items were damaged inside the packaging, the outer packaging was fine and we watch the 2 delivery men unwrap them, unfortunately the 2 items had to go back much to my wife's disappointments. We went straight to the shopping Truro to speak to the sales team and am glad to say they were fantastic, both items were out of stock and were not goimg to be back in for some time, the fridge freezer was no longer available so we had the one on display which was unmarked and very well wrapped in bubble for us to keep it that way and the washing we upgraded slightly to a better module which again although it meant another trip we also had it the same day, great instore service, staff couldn't be more apologetic and helpful to resolve out problem.

When buying 'white" goods, I like to see and touch them first, and there are few places where we can do this, apart from Currys PC World. However we were disappointed to find a slimline dishwasher we liked had gone up £30 in a week, so we bought ours elsewhere, and now found it has gone up a further £10! Is this in adance of Black Friday?

The only thing that lets this store down is the lack of staff when you need some help. Saying that, the staff, when you find one are friendly and helpful. One more thing to watch out for is they sometimes don't update their website often, as several times have visited the store to pick up an item they say they have in stock, only to find they do not, and hadn't for a while.

I've been a customer of Carphone Warehouse and Currys for a long time and I always hit the services mostly excellent comma however sometimes I do feel that the product knowledge that's some of the staff hold could be better but on the whole I always find the shopping experience here with to be very accommodating and again I recommend this place everybody because there's lots of different variety of things to choose from if you just want to take up a new mobile phone or if you need some more specialised like a new fridge or washing machine
